Not that they are going to change anything...

The mainstream media's open hostility to President Trump may be starting to backfire, according to the latest IBD/TIPP poll.
The poll found that 55% of the public says they've grown "weary from the media's persistently negative coverage of President Trump." A roughly equal share (54%) also believe that the news media "has assumed the role of the opposition party, constantly opposing the president and his policies at every turn."
We've seen it around here. When it comes to Donald Trump Derangement Syndrome, some people just cannot control their emotions. They find it almost impossible to discuss anything about the President without lashing out with some form of crazed incoherent rant that generally include something about Russians, article 25,  or some other grand conspiracy.

The problem for the media is that they were beaten and humiliated by Donald Trump during the election season. Their transparent attempts to lift him during the GOP primary contest, and then crush him during the general election quite obviously backfired. Trump won the Presidency in spite (and quite possibly because) of a hostile media.

The media is still trying to undermine, delegitimize, and destabilize both Donald Trump and his Presidency. Meanwhile, they continue to hover around all time lows as it pertains to overall public trust... and the President is still the President and much to their chagrin will continue to be.

The one thing people desperately need to remember is that the old rules of politics do not apply to Donald Trump. If he can win the Presidency with unfavorables between twenty and thirty points above his favorables, then he can function (and certainly win reelection) with job approvals in the mid forties. In spite of very vocal minorities protesting pretty everything about Trump, his policies remain favorable. As long as the economy plugs along at a reasonable pace, he's going to be a formidable force.

While today's gallup tracking poll has him at 53% disapproval rate which is remarkably similar to the BS % you just posted.... I wonder what that really means??? LOLOL

Impressive survey stat's from the biased IBD. LOL Again, all you provide is stuff that you agree with. Other polls are just garbage. LOL

The poll, conducted from Feb. 24 through March 4, included 909 responses who were surveyed using live interviewers on cellphone and landlines. It has a margin of error of +/‐ 3.3 percentage points.

At least it's not an internet poll. LOL

Stuff left off by CH. From his link

A study by the nonpartisan group Media Tenor found that only 3% of network news stories in the first month of the Trump administration could be described as positive. Of the rest, 43% were deemed negative, and 54% neutral. That's a stark contrast to the overwhelmingly positive coverage of the early Obama administration, despite the fact that Obama had his own share of early stumbles.

Despite the public's disdain for it, however, the hostile tenor of news coverage has nevertheless managed to push Trump's approval ratings to historic lows.

The latest poll finds that just 41% of the public approves of the job Trump is doing (down from 42% last month), while 53% disapprove (up from 48%). Half of independents disapprove of Trump's job performance, up from 47% last month, as do one in 10 Republicans (up from 6%).

The IBD/TIPP Presidential Leadership Index shows Trump at 44.6, which is down from last month's 49.2 and below President Obama's 46.9 average for his second term.

Approval #'s gotta be fake!!!! LOL

There is one bit or coldheartedtruth. The "Repeal and Replace" ObamaCare has split the Republicans between their right and left wings.. It's a crippled buzzard. The right wing has come out in opposition to the "secret' law The Hill has an interesting views.
http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/322717-conservative-groups-blast-gop-healthcare-plan

Outside conservative groups on Tuesday blasted House Republicans’ newly unveiled healthcare proposal, saying it doesn’t live up to the GOP’s promise of fully repealing ObamaCare.

The Club for Growth dubbed the proposal “RyanCare” and threatened to record names of Republicans who vote for the bill unless it includes significant changes.

Heritage Action, FreedomWorks and the Koch brothers-backed Americans for Prosperity, a group aligned with billionaire industrialists Charles and David Koch, also issued scathing statements highly critical of the "American Health Care Act," which was released on Monday.

FreedomWorks panned the GOP bill as "ObamaCare-Lite," while AFP labeled it "ObamaCare 2.0."

“This is simply not a full repeal of ObamaCare. It falls far short of the promises Republicans made to the American people in four consecutive federal elections,” AFP President Tim Phillips said in a phone interview Tuesday.

“The proposed legislation trades one form of government subsidy for another government subsidy, and doesn’t roll back the mandate of ObamaCare. It's a poor first attempt.”

The seemingly coordinated statements — all released within an hour of each other — from these four big-money, influential conservative groups create a huge headache for Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and the two authors of the House bill: Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Greg Walden (R-Ore.) and Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-Texas).

Assuming all members vote and all Democrats vote no, it would take 22 House GOP defections to kill the bill, which has the White House's support. Just three Republican votes could sink the legislation in the Senate.

Two Tea Party darlings, Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Mike Lee (R-Utah), have already come out against the GOP plan, as have former House Freedom Caucus Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and conservative Reps. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) and Dave Brat (R-Va.).

Many on the right are objecting to the plan’s refundable tax credits, which would replace ObamaCare insurance subsidies.

“If it’s a new federal plan, I do not like it because the federal government has shown itself unable to constrain itself when it comes to fiscal matters,” Brat told The Hill. “As a result, Medicare and Social Security are insolvent and our health system will be next.”

Club for Growth said it will “key vote” the bill, meaning it will include how lawmakers vote on it when calculating grades for members of Congress, and whip votes against the House proposal unless major changes are made.

“The problems with this bill are not just what’s in it, but also what’s missing: namely, the critical free-market solution of selling health insurance across state lines,” Club for Growth President David McIntosh said in a statement. “Such an injection of competition would lead to hundreds of billions of dollars in savings, nullifying any argument by Congressional Republicans that this provision cannot be included in the current bill.

“Republicans should be offering a full and immediate repeal of Obamacare’s taxes, regulations, and mandates, an end to the Medicaid expansion, and inclusion of free-market reforms, like interstate competition.”

It's pretty evident that the divisions in the congress are making it difficult to repeal and replace. The President has lost a lot of credibility in the last week. So is support for a bill, isn't going to make much of a difference.

Most of the reports, tell that the existing condition coverage goes away. It's far too much like going back to the non coverage plan that existed before the ACA.

And may leave up to 10 million of those covered before ObamaCare.

NO!!!
This is a sad day for public education in the United States. The U.S. House of Representatives has introduced Bill 610. This bill will effectively start the school voucher system to be used by children ages 5 to 17, and starts the de-funding process of public schools. The bill will eliminate the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESSA) of 1965 which is the nation's educational law and provides equal opportunity in education. It is a comprehensive program that covers programs for struggling learners, AP classes, ESL classes, classes for minorities such as Native Americans, Rural Education, Education for the Homeless, School Safety (Gun-Free schools), Monitoring and Compliance and Federal Accountability Programs.
The bill also abolishes the Nutritional Act of 2012 (No Hungry Kids Act) which provides nutritional standards in school breakfast and lunch. For our most vulnerable, this may be the ONLY nutritious food they have in a day.
The bill has no wording whatsoever protecting special needs kids, no mention of IDEA and FAPE.
Some things the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESSA) of 1965 does for Children with Disabilities:
-ensures access to the general education curriculum
-ensures access to accommodations on assessments
-ensures concepts of Universal Design for Learning
-includes provisions that require local education agencies to provide evidence-based interventions in schools with consistently underperforming subgroups
-requires states in Title I plans to address how they will improve conditions for learning including reducing incidents of bullying and harassment in schools, overuse of discipline practices and reduce the use of aversive behavioral interventions (such as restraints and seclusion).
Please call your representative and ask him/her to vote NO on House Bill 610 (HR 610) introduced by three Republican reps.
Please consider copying and pasting this post (rather than hitting "share" so it isn't limited to the friends we have in common). Thanks for advocating on behalf of our nation's youth and their families.

I tend to agree. The bill doesn't go far enough and it may even make the situation worse than it is now. (If that's possible).

We need government out of it altogether with the only provision is that people enjoy the same tax breaks in purchasing healthcare that business enjoy.

HB, tell you what, you tell us you have a net income a year of over $100,000 a year and the Clintons have 100 Million, Obama's just signed a book deal that is worth 60 million, you all poll you cash and pay for the kids you personally know are starving to death.

Don't run from your issue.

How many kids do you personally know ONLY Get a meal because of HB Beloved No Hungry Kids Act?
