Polling suggests that increase in Obamacare support nearly entirely from Democrats...

In other words, this bill is no more popular among Republicans than it has ever been. In fact, 90% of Trump voters have an unfavorable opinion of the law, while 90% of the Hillary voters now have a favorable view of the law.

This has nothing to do with any real change in the law as all the news regarding the law has continued to be bad. Even the most ardent supporters are starting to realize that the exchanges are headed for the dreaded "death spiral" if something isn't done. By next year large parts of the country will have zero insurers providing health care plans on the exchanges. Many other parts will continue to see only one single choice. Anyone suggesting that having zero or only one insurer competing on the exchange is not the result of the "death spiral" is being little more than dishonest.

The reality remains that the exchanges are basically a place where the Government subsidized both the seller and the buyer, and still nobody is happy. The sellers loose money, and the buyer receive a bad product. These exchanges were supposed to be an improvement over a system where 95% or more of insured were completely happy, and the Government had nothing to do with it.

This is nothing more than another knee jerk reaction by Democrats, who are suddenly upset that they lost another election and that all of these losses piling up will actually have real governing consequences. There is really fundamentally no "rational" reason to have changed your mind about the law. Unless you were a previous supporter who now opposes it.

Perhaps the GOP would have been wise to wait another year or so to watch the exchanges crumble even more before coming up with proposals to repeal and replace. While it may have caused unrest with many of the most vocal of Trump voters, it probably would make for more widespread support.

Thank you President Barack Obama.

The pace of job creation remained robust in February as low unemployment drove up wages, evidence of continued health in the U.S. labor market that likely clears the way for the Federal Reserve to raise short-term interest rates next week.

Nonfarm payrolls rose by a seasonally adjusted 235,000 in February from the prior month, the Labor Department said Friday, and the unemployment rate ticked down to 4.7% as both workforce participation and employment rose. Economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal had expected 197,000 new jobs and a jobless rate of 4.7% in February.

The strong hiring “will erase any lingering doubts that the Fed might not hike interest rates next week,” said Paul Ashworth, chief U.S. economist at Capital Economics, in a note to clients.

The unusually warm winter may have boosted recent job gains; the weather-sensitive construction sector saw robust hiring the past two months. But more broadly, analysts see the potential for rising optimism to drive stronger economic growth.

In January, Donald Trump’s first act as President was to order government agencies to avoid implementing, as much as is legally possible, what has become known as Obamacare.

http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2017/03/06/trumpcare-vs-obamacare

But Obamacare, it turns out, has done a lot of good. It guarantees that people with preƫxisting health conditions cannot be rejected by insurers or charged more than others. It has reduced the number of uninsured people by twenty million. It has increased access to primary care, specialty care, surgery, medicines, and treatment for chronic conditions. Patients are less likely to skip needed care because of the cost. As a result, according to studies conducted at Harvard, the A.C.A. is saving tens of thousands of lives each year.

The ACA "ObamaCare" has increased access to primary care, specialty care, surgery, medicines, and treatment for chronic conditions.Patients are less likely to skip needed care because of the cost. As a result, according to studies conducted at Harvard, the A.C.A. is saving tens of thousands of lives each year.

It was Obamacare’s dramatic expansion of Medicaid, in participating states, to all Americans living near the official poverty line that produced the largest reductions in the uninsured.

This is an ideological position, not necessarily superior insurance coverage. Not only that, some Republican governments will be very reluctant to provide state health insurance plans, and are not necessarily going to keep the coverage of existing conditions and the ability to keep children up to the age of 26.

Most of the various sources, not always left wing sites, the AMA and AMA and most hospital associations are opposed to this plan. The underlying reason for this is to get rid of any or all entitlements. The numbers will be passed down to the states and the federal funding is far under the necessary funds to provide coverage to the older populations that have by nature, higher costs.

The Republicans claim that their plan will reduce the obligations of small businesses.
The net result of this will be the loss of insurance up to 10 million who will lose their insurance coverage. The for profit insurance companies are not going to be able to charge what they want, or get preexisting conditions or for their children. It will price millions out of the market, because the tax credits will in no way cover these programs.

The fact that people have coverage under Obama Care and those who will lose their coverage are not going to continue to support Trump Care. most of them who will lose insurance voted for Trump. They won't be thrilled in 2018 elections if this pile of trash passes.

More from he New Yorker. That shows what will ha[[em to millions of Americans that you don't seem to care about, because the Magic (R) is there

A requirement for people to maintain “continuous coverage”—to take an example supported by the new Secretary of Health and Human Services, Tom Price, and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan—would mean that people who lose their insurance temporarily, because they, say, change jobs or suffer a financial setback, would also lose their preĆ«xisting-condition protections. For these people and for others left behind, Price and Ryan advocate state-run “high-risk pools.” But, in the thirty-five states that offered high-risk pools to the uninsurable before the A.C.A., inadequate funding delivered terrible coverage, with extremely high premiums and deductibles, and annual limits as low as seventy-five thousand dollars. Hardly anyone signed up.

Governance is forcing Republicans to confront the reality that repeal without replacement is untenable. In a stalemate, Congress would likely need to delay repeal and, to reassure skittish insurers, focus on small-scale repairs, such as affirming that subsidies will continue to be funded, and either enforcing the existing mandate or revising it so that more young and healthy people sign on. (For instance, healthy people could be charged an extra ten per cent on premiums if they forgo insurance for a year, the same as the penalty for elderly people who refuse Medicare Part B.) In addition, the states that sat out the Medicaid expansion in order to thwart President Obama would be free to join in under a Republican Administration, as many would like to. “Insurance for everybody,” Trump has vowed. A Trumpcare compromise could yet bring us a step closer to it

But legislators have no time to waste. Insurers must decide by April whether to offer a plan for the exchanges in 2018, and at what price. That requires certainty about the future. Pitchforks have their uses, but crafting health-care policy calls for more delicate instruments. The basic functioning of the health-care system is at stake. So are American lives.

I don't know if this will pass. Given the depth of the divisions within the Republican party may stop it. The fact that Trump's weak approval makes it difficult for him to push the right wing, tea party types to go along. The Gallup daily has him at 42%, where it's been for his entire time in office.

See how long the Dems can play the obstruction game with their freeloading voters screaming “Gimme!”

Step Two: Stop trying to plan everything. We can do it ourselves. Lift the regulations and let us buy whatever coverage we want from whatever state we want. Operate under the general principle that every American adult is expected to pay for his own healthcare. Most importantly, stop trying to ameliorate the consequences of bad decisions. If you want to have fewer bad decisions, the very best way to achieve that lofty goal is to let bad things happen to stupid people.

Done. There’s your health care reform."

Here ya go fatty

SOCIOECONOMIC STATUS
High socioeconomic status (SES) is most often defined by high income and/or high education level.

High SES has been linked to an increased risk of breast cancer [238-245].

This increased risk is not due to the higher SES (higher income and/or higher education level) itself, but rather to differences in risk factors found in women of different education and income levels [238-245].

For example, compared to women of lower SES, women of higher SES are more likely to:

Drink alcohol
Have fewer children
Have their first child at a later age
Use birth control pills
Use menopausal hormone therapy (postmenopausal hormones)

Each of these factors increases the risk of breast cancer [238-245].

LMAO and again fatty does Roger need you to be his protector? Or is this just you waddling in wanting attention?

His comments are in the style of a guy in a La-Z-Boy shouting at the television, except the guy in the La-Z-Boy has 26 million Twitter followers and controls a nuclear arsenal that could destroy the world many times over.

Fox News’s morning show flashes a graphic alleging that 122 released “Gitmo prisoners reengaged in terrorism.” Within an hour, Trump tweets from the White House: “122 vicious prisoners, released by the Obama administration from Gitmo, have returned to the battlefield. Just another terrible decision!” (As The Post’s Jenna Johnson pointed out, 113 of the 122 were released during the George W. Bush administration.)

A “Fox & Friends” host calls for Trump to block federal funding to universities that try to “silence conservative voices,” after violent protests at the University of California at Berkeley over a speech by conservative provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos. Half an hour later, Trump tweets: “If U.C. Berkeley does not allow free speech and practices violence on innocent people with a different point of view — NO FEDERAL FUNDS?”

Fox News’s “O’Reilly Factor” cites statistics about crime in Chicago. An hour later, Trump tweets the same statistics: “If Chicago doesn’t fix the horrible ‘carnage’ going on, 228 shootings in 2017 with 42 killings (up 24% from 2016), I will send in the Feds!”

Fox News labels Chelsea Manning an “ungrateful traitor” who had called President Barack Obama a “weak leader.” Fourteen minutes later, CNN’s Brian Stelter notes, Trump tweets: “Ungrateful TRAITOR Chelsea Manning, who should never have been released from prison, is now calling President Obama a weak leader. Terrible!”

Fox News’s Tucker Carlson airs a report alleging that Sweden has been trying to “cover up” an outburst of violence caused by Muslim immigrants. The next day, Trump tells a crowd in Florida: “You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden? Who would believe this?”

Swedes have no idea what Trump is talking about; an international incident ensues.

The February jobs report that the Bureau of Labor Statistics released Friday was strong: 235,000 jobs were added — higher than the 200,000 expected by economists.

It was the first official report of President Donald Trump's tenure, since the survey week for January's report was before Inauguration Day.

According to Gary Cohn, the head of Trump's National Economic Council, there's no reason to credit Trump for the strong report.

During an interview with CNBC, Cohn said the report was "right exactly where it needed to be," but he also said that Trump's team wasn't the reason for the beat.

For one thing, Cohn said, the jobs that were promised by CEOs who have met with Trump haven't been created yet.

"Look, there's clearly a good February as part of the number. I'm not going to deny that," Cohn said. "But on the other hand, when you look at what we've been doing here at the White House and all of the CEOs that we've brought in — whether it be Exxon or Sprint or Intel — they've promised enormous amounts of jobs and job creation in the United States. Those hirings have not been done yet. Those are future hirings."

Thus the beat in the February report, according to Cohn, is on the back of the recovery from the past eight years under President Barack Obama.

Federal judges find Texas gerrymandered maps on racial lines
PAUL J. WEBER,Associated Press 1 hour 14 minutes ago

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Federal judges found more problems in Texas' voting rights laws, ruling that Republicans racially gerrymandered some congressional districts to weaken the growing electoral power of minorities, who former President Barack Obama set out to protect at the ballot box before leaving office.

The ruling late Friday by a three-judge panel in San Antonio gave Democrats hope of new, more favorably drawn maps that could turn over more seats in Congress in 2018. But the judges in their 2-1 decision didn't propose an immediate fix, and Texas could appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Republicans hold two of three congressional districts ruled newly invalid and were found to have been partly drawn with discriminatory intent. The GOP-controlled Texas Legislature approved the maps in 2011, the same year then-Gov. Rick Perry signed a voter ID law that ranks among the toughest in the U.S. Courts have since weakened that law, too.

The 60-year-old making $23,000 would get a $4,000 credit — less than under Obamacare. That would increase the annual premium to $5,191.

Also, premiums could go up for older adults because the GOP bill allows insurers to charge more as people age and become more susceptible to health problems.

One question for Opie, who as we will take note, is now Mr Honest and will conduct himself to his self imposed High Standard.

"Gary D. Cohn (born August 27, 1960) is an American investment banker. He is the chief economic advisor to President Donald Trump and Director of the National Economic Council. He was formerly the president and chief operating officer of Goldman Sachs. "

Q, When do we as a Nation start to give credit to President Trump for job growth?

KD, "Crushing Cost" of ObimboCare said...

Late on Tuesday, Mr. Cohn, director of the National Economic Council advising President Trump, disclosed in a securities filing that he and his family members had received ownership that day of 940,908 shares of Goldman stock — a position valued at nearly $220 million. That award came in addition to a cash payout, announced the same day, amounting to about $65 million, leaving him with a total windfall of about $285 million.

Given that Mr. Cohn, 56, is required to divest his Goldman shares under federal ethics laws, “we took these actions to enable him to comply with the conflict of interest rules, just as we have done for people in the de Blasio administration,” said Jake Siewert, a company spokesman, referring to the office of Mayor Bill de Blasio of New York. Under a standing policy, Mr. Siewert added, Goldman allows departing employees who are entering government service to keep their stock."

Suddenly, all idiots of the right including trump who bashed the past jobs reports are now declaring they are the best thing since sliced bread....Flip Flopping, the conservative way.....'

Rep. Kevin Brady, the Republican lawmaker who leads the House Ways and Means Committee, typically puts out a statement every month in reaction to the release of the jobs report.

For the past few years, those statements have suggested a trend of weak jobs growth, the result of poor tax and economic policy under the Obama administration.

On Friday, however, that seemed to change.

"This is a great report," Brady said in his statement on the report, the first released under President Donald Trump's tenure.

It continued: "The fact that hundreds of thousands more people found new jobs last month is a good sign that our economy is moving in the right direction. While we still have much more work to do, I’m optimistic that the actions that President Trump and House Republicans are taking will add to this momentum — creating more jobs, growing families’ paychecks, and improving the lives of all Americans."

The February jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed that the US economy added 235,000 jobs last month, higher than the 200,000 expected by economists but roughly in line with the trend from the last few years.

What was striking to some observers was the difference between Brady's statement Friday and his comment from just a year ago, when the economy added 242,000 jobs in the month of February of 2016. The discrepancy was first pointed out by the Huffington Post's Sam Stein.

Ette, GOT SNOW?

I love the fake global warming, err, cooling, oh yeah the never fav flavor, climate change.

We do know this, we know these jobs will be put on the books of President Trump, they will be credited to his account and we do know those with new jobs vote for the party that is in power when they got employed.

We also know that the Labor Participation Rate rose . We also know that the trickle down effect of employment is that those people in their newly minted jobs pay taxes to local and state and federal coffers, that those people buy things.

The economics of it all will have President Trump having a much stronger GDP.

We know that The Bitter Clinger Janet Yelling will raise rates to hurt the US Economy, at least three times this year alone.

Look for each rate to come after good news in the US Economy. Each will be a 25 basis point rise or more.

you would think her best interest of the US, that is not what she stayed of for, her job is to hurt the US economy work for the DNC.

Well Opie, for the first time in eight years the numbers show real tangible job growth rather than the pathetic numbers the Obama administration kept hyping.

You had :

100,000 more jobs than the initial estimate for a robust 298,000 jobs. More than enough to keep up with population growth.

Not only that, they were high paying, high quality jobs. Real wages went up.

Real unemployment went down from 9.4 to 9.2 meaning people are reentered the workforce.

Under Obama, the recovery was the worst recovery since WWII. It crippled along under the weight of Obamacare, taxes, mandates, and regulations.

Under Trump, the economy booms. Happy days are here again.

America's job market has made progress under Obama's watch. U.S. unemployment hit a high of 10% in October 2009 and is now at less than half that level. In December, the unemployment rate rose just a tad to 4.7% from 4.6% in November, the lowest rate since 2007.
The underemployment rate, which includes part-time workers who would like to work full time, also fell to 9.2%, its lowest point since 2008.
"By just about any measure, 2016 was a banner year for the job market," says Ian Siegel, co-founder of ZipRecruiter, a job recruitment site.
CNN wants to know: Is your town losing jobs?
