Liberals in power understand the stupidity of their supporters...

Liberals have a wonderful weapon to wield. The stupidity of their supporters. They can tell them just about anything and they know that their supporters will believe them.

Example: For the past ten months the FBI has been conducting an investigation into possible ties between Russia and Trump associates. For the past four months, the House and Senate have both been conducting investigations into possible ties between Russia and Trump associates (narrowed to three: Flynn, Manafort, Page). These are the exact same three investigations that took place over the Clinton email server fiasco. The FBI investigation is actually only two months shy of the time it took to fully investigate the Clinton mess. If the FBI is still investigating in August (three months from now) - it will have gone on longer than the Clinton investigation.

Still Democratic and liberal media talking heads have convinced their non-thinking supporters that there isn't actually any investigation going on. They have convinced their minions that Donald Trump is actually defying all attempts to investigate... even as there are three separate investigations going on.

It takes a special kind of stupid to fall for this. The sort of stupid that comes from full scale Donald Trump derangement syndrome. Chuck Schumer, the Washington Post, and other influential liberals understand this full well and take full advantage of it. It would be funny, if it wasn't so sad.
