Did three million illegals really vote?

Three million votes in the U.S. presidential election were cast by illegal aliens, according to Greg Phillips of the VoteFraud.org organization.

If true, this would mean that Donald Trump still won the contest despite widespread vote fraud and almost certainly won the popular vote.

“We have verified more than three million votes cast by non-citizens,” tweeted Phillips after reporting that the group had completed an analysis of a database of 180 million voter registrations.
_______

Well, let's consider that perhaps three million is a little bit of an exaggeration. But let's also consider that three million is likely not much further from the truth than zero. Granted, I don't take what "VoteFraud.org" states very seriously. In fact, it doesn't appear to even be an up to date website. But hey, it was posted on Drudge, so it has to be true (ahem).

The issue is whether it's three million, one million, or three hundred thousand, I think it's naive to suggest that illegals do not cast votes in the election. Furthermore, it's something that really should be addressed in the future. This is one of those issues (Voter ID laws) that has been working it's way back up and down the courts for the past few elections seasons with a variety of results. I think one way or the other, we need to come to some national consensus to this.

In terms of reality, voter ID is simply a matter of time. It's archaic (and becomes a smaller argument everyday) to continue to suggest that millions of Americans live in this country without identification and that getting an identification amounts to some sort of undo burden. Because of this, liberals can continue to fight for as long as they can, but eventually the fact that it's 2016 (not 1816) will assure the end result. We will need to produce ID to vote.

Then perhaps we will see if voter ID laws really do effect the outcomes of elections.

There's now video evidence that these protests are not spontaneous but professional agitators being bussed in. Video of long line of busses.

No doubt we can thank George soros.

I propose killing two birds with one stone. A national Voter ID card, issued to every registered voter, with a chip embed which produces a unique voter ID and a PGP encryption key, allowing the citizen to vote from any connected device having a reader capability. Obviously that would prevent multiple votes, render early voting and absentee ballots obsolete, allow the US and States to have legitimate, clean voter registration, and would encourage voting by making it easier (online) and with ubiquitous opportunity.

For expample, no more early closing, late closing, intimidating poll watchers, ballots in car trunks, dead voting, or most of the other common vote scams. Doesn't that sound appealing?

Commonsense said...

A lot a civil libertarians are suspicious of national ID cards which is what you are advocating WP.

wphamilton said...

It would indeed be a national ID card, but one only used for voting. Since it's encrypted, it can't be used by anyone, for anything, other than voting. I'd put a name and photo on it, just so that it could be used at a traditional poll, but even that wouldn't be required.

The ironic thing about that is we already have a national ID card - our social security card. Moreover, whether or not we approve or even realize it, every person in America already has a unique ID. The ID is tied to enough pieces of personal information to uniquely identify you, were you to move somewhere. Or any business you do for that matter, in theory at least. And I know as little as anyone else what the Federal government has in house. It's already here for practical purposes, so there's no point in holding back for fear of a national ID.

Commonsense said...

It also makes you very vulnerable to identity theft.

That's the fear.

wphamilton said...

No, the opposite is true. The unique ID that I am familiar with makes identity theft much easier to identify, harder to accomplish.

It's a mute point with the voter ID, which would be totally useless for identity theft. It's electronic, and the encryption means that only the voting system with the encryption key could read it.

KD you're going to have a database if you want to eliminate illegal voting. It might be just paper as in some places, or out of date unverified databases maintained by States as in most places, but there is a database.

It cannot be hacked if it's not on-line, and there's no reason to have it online.

Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck said Monday that he has no plans to change the LAPD’s stance on immigration enforcement, despite President-elect Donald Trump’s pledge to toughen federal immigration laws and deport millions of people upon taking office.

For decades, the LAPD has distanced itself from federal immigration policies. The LAPD prohibits officers from initiating contact with someone solely to determine whether he or she is in the country legally, mandated by a special order signed by then-chief Daryl Gates in 1979. During Beck’s tenure as chief, the department stopped turning over people arrested for low-level crimes to federal agents for deportation and moved away from honoring federal requests to detain inmates who might be deportable past their jail terms.

Yep, It is simple, enforce that laws that you have been sworn to do, or don't and loss the 100's of millions of dollars that goes to the City from the Fed.

"Peace Officer Oath of Office, State of California

PEACE OFFICER OATH OF OFFICE, State of California
California Constution Article 20, Sec. 3. Misc. Subjects
[Required Oath of Office ]

" I, ___________________________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties upon which I am about to enter.

"And I do further swear (or affirm) that I do not advocate, nor am I a member of any party or organization, political or other- wise, that now advocates the overthrow of the Government of the United States or of the State of California by force or violence or other unlawful means; that within the five years immediately preceding the taking of this oath (or affirmation) I have not been a member of any party or organization, political or other-wise, that advocated the overthrow of the Government of the United States or of the State of California by force or violence or other unlawful means. I will not advocate nor become (name of office) a member of any party or organization, political or otherwise, that advocates the overthrow of the Government of the United States or of the State of California by force or violence or other unlawful means."

Clearly this means nothing to the Chief.

Pointing to Donald Trump’s recent comments on abortion and controversial appointment of an extremist right favorite to the White House, Mayor de Blasio on Monday urged all Americans to continue protesting the President-elect.

De Blasio, speaking after days of roiling protests against the country’s yet-to-be-sworn-in 45th president have sprung up in New York and other cities, said resistance is necessary, especially since Trump is likely to lose the popular vote — and therefore doesn’t have a mandate to rule.

“We have to recognize that all over this country, the more disruption that’s caused peacefully ... the more it will change the trajectory of things,” said de Blasio in an interview with Hot 97 radio.

Saving money continues to be a losing battle for many Americans. Twenty-six percent of Americans do not have any money placed aside for emergencies, according to a new survey from Bankrate. In fact, 67% have saved less than six months' worth of expenses, and 50% have saved less than three months' expenses. Over the past year, the number of Americans with at least three months' expenses in savings declined from 45% to 40%."

This is in part why Hillary was given a good old styled ass kicking.

Remember this elections was normal, the first issue on the minds of nearly every voter is the weak ass economy. It mattered not if your a liberal Loser, Iddy or Conservative.

Just think a week ago, the Three Liberal Stooges where 100 % sure Crooked Hillary had conned the American People. The Lame Stream Press was sure, hell they worked hard for HER and YET, WE THE PEOPLE had other plans.

Tired of being made poorer on the world stage and at HOME, WE THE PEOPLE voted, took back this country, elected more Govonors to lead more states, now that number has grown to 34 States. STRONGER TOGETHER we the people put in a new, strong President.

I do pity the liberals, they have lost more ground politically under Obama/Hillary/Polosi/Ried and other nuts then at any other time in US HISTORY.

The message/polices of Trump WON.
