Some excerpts from the Black Lives Matter statement on Castro

We are feeling many things as we awaken to a world without Fidel Castro. There is an overwhelming sense of loss, complicated by fear and anxiety. Although no leader is without their flaws, we must push back against the rhetoric of the right and come to the defense of El Comandante. And there are lessons that we must revisit and heed as we pick up the mantle in changing our world, as we aspire to build a world rooted in a vision of freedom and the peace that only comes with justice. It is the lessons that we take from Fidel.

A final lesson is that to be a revolutionary, you must strive to live in integrity. As a Black network committed to transformation, we are particularly grateful to Fidel for holding Mama Assata Shakur, who continues to inspire us. We are thankful that he provided a home for Brother Michael Finney Ralph Goodwin, and Charles Hill, asylum to Brother Huey P. Newton, and sanctuary for so many other Black revolutionaries who were being persecuted by the American government during the Black Power era.
With Fidel’s passing there is one more lesson that stands paramount: when we are rooted in collective vision when we bind ourselves together around quests for infinite freedom of the body and the soul, we will be victorious. As Fidel ascends to the realm of the ancestors, we summon his guidance, strength, and power as we recommit ourselves to the struggle for universal freedom. Fidel Vive!

They say, Politics makes strange bedfellows. But who would have associated Fidel Castro with the Black Lives Matter movement. I for one, think they should become heavily involved in the Cuban situation post Fidel. Perhaps most of them could just move there?

Puzzling, but perhaps the people of BLM consider themselves revolutionaries, and love Castro because he stood up to America with the Soviet nuclear missiles aimed at their parents and grandparents.

A convicted felon who claims he wanted to shoot cops is behind bars in connection with the explosives device planted outside of a Trussville elementary school.

Authorities today announced state charges against 35-year-old Zachary Edwards and 34-year-old Raphel Dilligard, both of eastern Birmingham. They are charged with possession of a hoax destructive device, rendering false alarm and making terrorist threats, said Trussville police Capt. Jeff Bridges.

The warrants were issued this morning after the week-long probe by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Trussville police, the Alabama State Fire Marshal's Office, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

Edwards claimed to be a member of the Black Panthers and the Black Mafia, but authorities have not yet confirmed his reported associations with any organized group. "My guys believe this individual to be a very dangerous person,'' said Dave Hyche, ATF's assistant special agent in charge in Alabama.

I believe that there is no country in the world including any and all the countries under colonial domination, where economic colonization, humiliation and exploitation were worse than in Cuba, in part owing to my country's policies during the Batista regime. I approved the proclamation which Fidel Castro made in the Sierra Maestra, when he justifiably called for justice and especially yearned to rid Cuba of corruption. I will even go further: to some extent it is as though Batista was the incarnation of a number of sins on the part of the United States. Now we shall have to pay for those sins. In the matter of the Batista regime, I am in agreement with the first Cuban revolutionaries. That is perfectly clear.

Kennedy was no fan of Castro. Obviously. You're not really suggesting that the quote shows otherwise?

The two men despised each other to the point of actively wanting each other's death.

What kind of person is so unhinged that even though he won a presidential election, he goes nuts when he's reminded that he lost the popular vote, that he grabs his smart phone and starts tweeting incredibly insane comments, claiming that millions of illegals voted for Clinton?

Infowars.com is his source. It has been long ago proved to be completely discredited, even by Fox.

The worst part of this whole thing, is that he has tried to discredited our elections system. We have been the model for over two hundred years, as the most fair and responsible transfer of power. Now this dangerously impulsive behavior, needs to be confronted with the truth.

I sincerely hope that the members of the electoral college, will do their Constitutional duty, and refuse to make him our President. If it goes to the house, they can vote for anyone. I'm not a fan of Mike Pence, his ultra religious and political views. But he doesn't strike me as a dangerous man. I can only hope.

Not going to happen Roger, the EC going rogue.

If Trump's tweet alleging fraud tries to discredit the election system, doesn't a court filing in PA alleging fraud undermine it even more?

Hillary's going ahead with this ridiculous recount two weeks after conceding the election, but Trump is the one going nuts??

Yeah sure.

(CNN)President-elect Donald Trump proposed on Tuesday a penalty -- including possible jail time or loss of citizenship -- for burning the American flag, in spite of two US Supreme Court rulings that protect the act under the First Amendment as a form of free speech.

"Nobody should be allowed to burn the American flag -- if they do, there must be consequences -- perhaps loss of citizenship or year in jail!" Trump tweeted."

Yes balls, this guy is fucking nuts. Yet you just type out support for a guy who is not responsible enough to be our President. I don't get it. You have a master's degree, and you can't see what the hell is going on.?????? Why????

He tweets impulsively, comments that clearly show how crazy he is.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Clinton is well aware that the recount won't change the the results of the election. But she feels responsible to the well over 2,000,000 Americans who voted for her.

Trying to claim that the recount is just as crazy as the multiple Tweets by Donald Trump most of them are flat out crazy, is denying reality.

Yet you all think that Obama is a Muslim. Or at least a sympathetic.

By Joby Warrick November 28 at 6:01 PM
For a man given to fiery rhetoric and long-winded sermons, Abu Muhammad al-Adnani became oddly quiet during his last summer as the chief spokesman for the Islamic State.

The Syrian who exhorted thousands of young Muslims to don suicide belts appeared increasingly obsessed with his own safety, U.S. officials say. He banished cellphones, shunned large meetings and avoided going outdoors in the daytime. He began sleeping in crowded tenements in a northern Syrian town called al-Bab, betting on the presence of young children to shield him from the drones prowling the skies overhead.

But in late August, when a string of military defeats suffered by the Islamic State compelled Adnani to briefly leave his hiding place, the Americans were waiting for him. A joint surveillance operation by the CIA and the Pentagon tracked the 39-year-old as he left his al-Bab sanctuary and climbed into a car with a companion. They were headed north on a rural highway a few miles from town when a Hellfire missile struck the vehicle, killing both of them.

The Aug. 30 missile strike was the culmination of a months-long mission targeting one of the Islamic State’s most prominent — and, U.S. officials say, most dangerous — senior leaders. The Obama administration has said little publicly about the strike, other than to rebut Russia’s claims that one of its own warplanes dropped the bomb that ended Adnani’s life.

But while key operational details of the Adnani strike remain secret, U.S. officials are speaking more openly about what they describe as an increasingly successful campaign to track and kill the Islamic State’s senior commanders, including Adnani, the No. 2 leader and the biggest prize so far. At least six high-level Islamic State officials have died in U.S. airstrikes in the past four months, along with dozens of deputies and brigadiers, all but erasing entire branches of the group’s leadership chart.

Hillary Clinton is co-sponsoring a bill to criminalize the burning of the American flag. Her supporters would characterize this as an attempt to find a middle way between those who believe that flag-burning is constitutionally protected free speech and those who want to ban it, even if it takes a constitutional amendment. Unfortunately, it looks to us more like a simple attempt to have it both ways.

Flag Protection Act of 2005 - Amends the federal criminal code to revise provisions regarding desecration of the flag to prohibit: (1) destroying or damaging a U.S. flag with the primary purpose and intent to incite or produce imminent violence or a breach of the peace; (2) intentionally threatening or intimidating any person, or group of persons, by burning a U.S. flag; or (3) stealing or knowingly converting the use of a U.S. flag belonging to the United States, or belonging to another person on U.S. lands, and intentionally destroying or damaging that flag.

Illegal votes or illegals voting, it all amounts to the same thing.

Clinton was quick to declare her participation, and sent material aid to the effort. They are alleging widespread fraud - that is indisputable, being a sworn statement filed in a court of law. That trumps a Trump tweet, I'd say.

Such irresponsible actions by Clinton, attacking Americans' confidence in our election process, is simply appalling.

Yeppers Paul, there is zero chance for Hillary in all of this. Legitimate chance that is - you know that they'll try to leverage it somehow later on.

KD, HB knows not a fucking thing said...

EVERYTIME HB says something he shows he has no idea of History.

Clinton wanted to make it the Law in 2005.

"In 2005, Clinton co-sponsored the Flag Protection Act which, while it did not call for the stripping of citizenship, made flag burning with the intent to incite violence or disturb the peace punishable by a year in jail and a $100,000 fine.

The bipartisan bill, introduced by Clinton and then-Sen. Bob Bennett, R-Utah, never made it out of the Judiciary Committee, but was floated as a compromise to a proposed constitutional amendment that would ban flag burning.

Clinton was criticized for her stance then, although the criticisms leveled at her targeted Clinton's perceived political slipperiness, rather than her representing a threat to constitutional liberty. A New York Times piece accused the senator of being “in pander mode.”

"The total bill was $162,000. I would have been bankrupt " HB

This is how you put together a team that will do to ObamaCare what needs to be done.

Great pick on the Part of the President Elect Donald Trump.

WASHINGTON — If President-elect Donald J. Trump wanted a cabinet secretary who could help him dismantle and replace President Obama’s health care law, he could not have found anyone more prepared than Representative Tom Price, who has been studying how to accomplish that goal for more than six years.

Mr. Price, an orthopedic surgeon who represents many of the northern suburbs of Atlanta, speaks with the self-assurance of a doctor about to perform another joint-replacement procedure. He knows the task and will proceed with brisk efficiency.

Mr. Trump has picked Mr. Price, a six-term Republican congressman, to be secretary of health and human services, Mr. Trump’s transition team announced Tuesday morning."

How goes Hillary's Recount of votes in MI, PA and WI,,, I mean really, classless woman eva'.

Why are you picking on a target as weak as Clinton with her record? It's like kicking crutches.

Trump aide attacks Wisconsin recount while doubling down on ‘voter fraud’ claims

Trump reacts to recount efforts in battleground states

Jason Miller, communications director for President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team, urged the media Monday to focus on “issues of both voter fraud and illegal immigrants voting” rather than an election recount that he dismissed as “nonsensical” and a “shiny object.”

Miller’s comments came on the transition team’s daily press call when he was asked about a series of tweets Trump sent on Sunday asserting that he “won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally.” His campaign has provided no evidence for the claim, and outside experts say it has no merit.
