Conservative: Wow, it's really pouring out here today.

Trump keeps giving himself credit for business decisions made before he became president. Ford’s decision has more to do with the company’s long-term goal — particularly its plans to invest in electric vehicles — than with the administration. Here’s what Ford chief executive Mark Fields said about the company’s decision to abandon plans to open a factory in Mexico: “The reason that we are not building the new plant, the primary reason, is just demand has gone down for small cars.” General Motors announced plans to rehire about 700 laid-off workers in Michigan and create 200 new jobs, but the company did not credit Trump or his election.

This has the small percentage of the post

President Donald Trump is a businessman and reality television show. He called a reporter for the FAKE NEWS, Washington Post out of the blue. Bob Costa got a call on his private number, and to his surprise, it was the President of the United States. He told him that they were going to hold the vote on the house version of the Republican health care bill. Speaker Ryan requested this, because the Republican representatives have read the polls, and the public meetings had surprised by the intensity of the public, in support of Obamacare. Many of them would have been in danger of losing their seats in the house.

But that's not what the President said. In this potion of the conversation, the President blamed the Democrats, for not participating in the bill. That's a completely ignorant comment. The Republicans refused to honesty work with the Obama administration or the house and Senate leadership

By Robert Costa March 24 at 5:59 PM

"President Trump called me on my cellphone Friday afternoon at 3:31 p.m. At first I thought it was a reader with a complaint since it was a blocked number.

Instead, it was the president calling from the Oval Office. His voice was even, his tone muted. He did not bury the lead.

“Hello, Bob,” Trump began. “So, we just pulled it.”

Trump was speaking, of course, of the Republican plan to overhaul the Affordable Care Act, a plan that had been languishing for days amid unrest throughout the party as the president and his allies courted members and pushed for a vote.

Before I could ask a question, Trump plunged into his explanation of the politics of deciding to call off a vote on a bill he had been touting.

The Democrats, he said, were to blame.

“We couldn’t get one Democratic vote, and we were a little bit shy, very little, but it was still a little bit shy, so we pulled it,” Trump said.

Trump said he would not put the bill on the floor in the coming weeks. He is willing to wait and watch the current law continue and, in his view, encounter problems. And he believes that Democrats will eventually want to work with him on some kind of legislative fix to Obamacare, although he did not say when that would be."
----------------------------------

This is the break.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

This is me.

In his comments seen yesterday afternoon, placed the blame on the Democrats. In those comments in reaction to claims, that he was going to put the repeal and replace Obamacare in the first 64 days. There are many examples on YouTube videos, where he said that his very first act as President, was to repeal and replace Obamacare. In the same videos showing that his replacement would provide low cost insurance coverage to everyone, at a lower cost than in Obamacare. In every single analysis of the proposed Bill did not include everyone, or at a lower cost. The 64 days comment is actually true, but a distraction that ignores his repeated vow to repeal and replace Obamacare. He suffered a historical defeat.

This defeat, to the primary policy of his campaign, has never happened before. Ever

During the last week, the President met with house Republicans in an effort to get their support for the bill. Multiple reports, anonymously of course, from the Republican congressional members said that they were shocked, because he had no understanding of the bill, and no experience on the politics involved.

In this defeat, he has completely lost any ability to work with the Republicans in the house and Senate. His record low polling numbers, and much more important, he has no influence from this day forward because they now understand that how little he knows. And they don't think that he's going to work hard enough and study the complexity of governance. It is likely that unless this 70 years old man will change his behavior, and like most successful Presidents, and spend hours upon hours daily, studying intelligence reports, and working with consultants. But not the cloud
President. He lives in an impenetrable balloon of alt right rants by Steve Bannon, Fox news and a lot of time watching political television shows on the FAKE NEWS networks, and his anger motivates him to lash out on Twitter. He isn't going to change his behavior. This is what we face for as long as he is the President.

Besides that behavior pattern, the most disturbing thing is his views on reality. A free and unhindered press is vital to a democracy. Throughout the last century, and I know that some people won't like this, is dictatorships were able to get a significant percentage of the population, to believe in an alternate reality. Populations tire of stories about important issues. They want to move on. People like Donald Trump are adept at changing the topic. His use of Twitter, to make a undeniably inaccurate comments on the alleged wiretapping at the Trump Tower by former President Obama has effectively kept attention off the alleged cooperation with the Russian government. James Coney stated that they had been conducting a criminal investigation on that issue since July of 2016.

This and many other issues get in the way of attention on his performance as the Republican President. But we have been learning how to get past the cloud cover and have seen how inept and irresponsible behavior as the President of the United States. His polling numbers are at a record low, and barring a traumatic event, he has effectively lost control of the national agenda.

https://www.rawstory.com/2017/03/cnn-analyst-sources-say-mike-flynn-has-turned-on-trump-and-become-witness-for-the-fbi/

As of Saturday evening, rumors are swirling that Pres. Donald Trump’s ousted national security adviser Mike Flynn has cut a deal with the FBI and is now informing on his old boss, the president.

CNN national security analyst Juliette Kayyem discussed the possibility in a panel discussion on Friday night when she said that former Trump foreign policy consultant Carter Page, ex-campaign manager Paul Manafort and longtime Trump ally Roger Stone will all testify before the House Intelligence Committee regarding their ties to Russia.

ADVERTISING

“It’s not that interesting to me because I don’t think they’ll be under oath,” Kayyem said. “The one name not mentioned is a name I mention often on this show: Mike Flynn, the former national security adviser.”

“It is starting to look like — from my sources and from open reporting — that Mike Flynn is the one who may have a deal with the FBI and that’s why we have not heard from him for some time,” she said.

Flynn, a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant General, was forced to step down from the Trump administration when it came to light that he lied to Vice President Mike Pence and the public about his contacts with Russian Ambassador and former FSB spy recruiter Sergey Kislyak.
This week, retired CIA Director James Woolsey said that he sat in on a secret meeting with Flynn and officials from Turkey’s authoritarian Erdogan regime in which Flynn entertained the idea of illegally sidestepping U.S. diplomatic protocols to return a fugitive Muslim cleric to Turkey. Woolsey describe the proposed operation as a “dead of night” mission to “whisk away” Fethullah Gulen and return him to Erdogan’s far-right government.

How much of this tax relief were the posters of CH going to get??????

These effects are even more astounding when compared to the too often overlooked enormous tax benefits that the wealthy would be handed. About $270 billion in tax relief would go toward the wealthiest Americans over 10 years. While seniors would see their premiums skyrocket, the top 0.1% would each get a windfall tax reduction averaging $207,000.These effects are even more astounding when compared to the too often overlooked enormous tax benefits that the wealthy would be handed. I just got invited to speak at the Kaiser Permanente Day Program. It's one step lower than Re hab. I did it five years ago. It's not just alcoholism, but all the other bad shit. It really got me into the program and commitment to recovery. It's cool.

You don't seem to understand, that alcoholism disease, is a disease, not a failure of character. At my age, the odds are against me, but I have been humble and thankful. I'm a good public speaker. I rarely use notes, I have written it in my head. I'm survived two near death experiences. I have come to think that I'm still here for a reason. Helping others is very rewarding. When I see a hate filled jerk, attacks me, I feel nothing but pity.

Your President couldn't get his premier policy through the house. Thirty Republicans were going to vote against the Bill. He said that he was a master negotiator.

1: He has less credibility than his buddy Putin. Yet you and our esteemed host, still say "Trump is right".
2: The Republicans have been saying that their most important policy, was to repeal and replace Obamacare.
3: Instead of accepting the blame, the freedom coalition and the President are undermining Speaker Ryan.
4: He tweeted that the freedom coalition and the Democrats were to blame, instead of accepting responsibility for the failure of your President.
5: His failure on the primary policy, will be repeated, because, see the tweet, won't change his methodology.
6: Charles Krauthammer says that the Democrats and Barack Obama have convinced a majority of the American people think that health care is an entitlement, and the Republicans have to accept that.
7: The failure opened up a path to a bipartisan coalition to find a way to give the people what they want. But that 70 year old man is not capable of doing that.
8: This failure could lead to a reversal of control of the house. The Senate is less likely, because there are not many vulnerable seats.
9: Cue the alky, brain damaged alcoholic.
10: The truth is that I have a much better personality and higher intelligence than the racist republican rodent.
11: The FBI is investigating the President and his campaign for treasonous attempts to manipulate the Presidential election.
12: Your hero Trump is not going to admit error in accusing Barack Obama of wiretapping his Golden Temple.

You are an idiot. Insurance is carried by most. It's stupid to go without insurance. In the first full year on Kaiser Permanente Senior Advantage, I paid over $1,500. Medicare paid $47,000. That would be almost half of our income, you idiot.

A transplant will probably exceed $250,000. I would be forced to refuse the transplant, and so would 90% of other patients. You are in the hurry up and die demographic. Fuck off.

From ABC FAKE NEWS.
President Trump is coming off of a week where he lost both credibility and control. He also lost something that is harder to define and may be harder to restore: the mystique of power. Since November, even Trump's harshest critics had to recognize his political talents, which show in two ways: The seemingly unbreakable connection and communications link he has with a loyal block of voters, and the deal-making skills that grew his brand all the way to the presidency. But the Republicans who opposed the health care bill showed they neither fear nor love the president. That turns the question to the consequences: In the Trump playbook, look for a power move – something that goes beyond tweets and executive orders. If we're ever going to be tired of all the winning, the Trump White House needs some victories as attention turns to tax reform and other big agenda items.

After a civil war comes reconstruction. But where does Trump go to build coalitions again? In the aftermath of Friday's devastating fail, the president has attacked Democrats, conservatives in the House Freedom Caucus, and – obliquely and oddly, through a recommendation to watch a certain news show – House Speaker Paul Ryan. Even if the president's tweet to watch Fox News was a coincidence and not meant to hit Ryan, Breitbart and Twitter are taking care of that piece of the blame for him. Trump needs some dance partners moving forward, and there are signals that the same people who just beat him on health care are wary of teaming up with him again. The Freedom Caucus already lost one of its members in the aftermath. And the group's chairman, Rep. Mark Meadows, said on ABC's "This Week" that he's prepared to have "a lot of flexibility" in tackling tax reform. The president can find willing partners out there, if he looks and resists the urge to tweet at them.

THE SHINY STORY
Here comes Jared to save the day. Who is undergoing interrogation by the FBI. The announcement Monday that Jared Kushner will head up the new White House Office of American Innovation gives Trump's son-in-law a broad mission that includes smashing through bureaucracies and fulfilling campaign promises on everything from veterans' care to opioid abuse. Maybe this task force will surprise. But it's not the first time the Trump White House - barely two months in - has trotted out a new initiative designed to both streamline government and keep the president himself on track. It's also in keeping with deploying Kushner as a signal to Wall Street allies of serious people in control. It could be that the Trump White House needs an internal SWAT team to keep it moving in the right direction. It could also be that this new team draws friendly fire.

Palestinian terrorist who led women’s march will be stripped of citizenship

This week we’ve received news that a similar case has been handled (through a plea bargain agreement) which produced a productive result. It involves a rather high profile “activist” from the ranks of the Palestinians, one Rasmea Odeh. You may recall her as a leading figure in the highly vaunted “women’s march on Washington” shortly after President Trump’s election.

It turns out that Ms. Odeh is a convicted terrorist who had previously been handled by the Israeli courts before coming to the United States. She’s not new on the progressive scene around here and has been lionized by liberal activists in the past.

Good riddance to this women. If I was a liberal I would have been embarrassed and ashamed that my movement would be lead by a terrorist.
