Take it outside...

Schiff Nunes schoolyard slap fest

Recap of events:
  • Devin Nunes goes to media claiming evidence that Trump and surrogates were being monitored.
  • Adam Schiff goes to media claiming evidence that Trump and surrogates colluded with Russia.
  • Adam Schiff comes out and demands Devin Nunes Recuse himself from inquiry.
  • Devin Nunes taunts Adam Schiff with the counter that Schiff just doesn't like that Nunes is effective.

Is it just me, or does this immature personal congressional argument remind anyone else of the sort of fight that the two school bookworms got into back in 5th grade. You know the one where neither actually understood how to fight, rather spending most of their time pulling hair, slapping at each other, all the while shouting out to "stop it" and maintaining absolutely no eye contact with anything other than their own feet.

At this point in time, the deflated personal credibility of Adam Schiff and Devin Nunes only works to undermine the credibility of the actual investigation, as if anyone "really" cares about a congressional investigation into events that the FBI is supposedly also investigating. I mean, does anyone believe that Congress investigates anything for any purpose "other" than to make political points for the next election cycle.

Here is a big and bold prediction:

The Democrats will do everything in their power to write a report that looks to show that there was collusion, but no monitoring... while the Republicans will do everything in their power to write a report that looks to show that there was monitoring, but no collusion.

Yes... you heard it hear first? I must be a frigging psychic!

That's it CH... keep defending trump and his lap dog. Me thinks trump people leaked the data to nunes....This is all going to be a huge embarrassment for the R's when the leader of the free world likes to lie about his contacts and the guy investigating him is in bed with his wife. Funny ain't it???

So in your mind, Opie... me comparing Nunes to a 5th grade bookworm, demanding that his personal credibility harms the overall investigation...

Is akin to defending him as Trump's lapdog, huh?

Judging from the reaction of Democrats on the committee and the hysteria of the media, Devin Nunes has some information that is real and damaging to Obama's legacy.

Roger Krugman has yet to figure out Trump, Old physically and financially broken and broke Roger is attempting to score President Trump using a 1951 scoring card, aka the Hillary Card.

President Trump is different, he is a businessman , looking to make the next best deal for America and working Union and non Union Workers.

I see that the Head if the UAW said some really nice things about Trump-Ford and more jobs, greater factory capacity and JOB growth.

Ford brining back two strong Name Plates is a stroke of real Marketing Genius.

Side bar, by Roger Krugman's own posts because of his drinking, it cost him his first marriage , his health and has so far put the workers paying into Medicare on the hook for about $400,000 and that does not include the bilking his immigrant wife has done to the system.

Consumer confidence in March soared to the highest level in more than 16 years, according to data released Tuesday.

The Conference Board said its consumer confidence index leapt to 125.6 in March from 116.1 in February, coming in well ahead of the MarketWatch-compiled consensus of 114.1.

The reading gave a pop to U.S. stocks DJIA, +0.59% , which turned higher after the report.

Consumer confidence has taken off since the election of President Donald Trump, on the prospect of lower taxes and more infrastructure spending. Confidence has yet to be impacted by Congress’s inability so far to enact the president’s ambitions. The cutoff data for responses was March 16, before Republicans were forced to scrap a vote on repealing and replacing Obamacare.

Both the present situation and the expectations indexes improved in March.

The gains also cut across most regional and income groups. Perhaps not surprisingly, the higher the household income, the higher the consumer confidence reading. Only those with household income below $15,000 are less confident now than they were before the election.

Nope, But Cuckold Schumer will be removed from his position as US Senator because of crimes he committed .

It is against the Law to so disrupt a couple while dinning that they leave, which is what Little Cuckold Schumer did. But he was not done, he followed them on to a public sidewalk, continued to yell at them until hey were picked up and drove off.

Page Six NY Times and other news orgs have reported.

What got the couple yelled at , what caused the assault upon their peace, well, the woman of the couple voted for Trump.

Nunes should step down from his chairmanship. Failing that, he should be removed.

He is withholding information from his own committee. Leaving him in charge of any wiretapping investigation is like putting Hillary Clinton in charge of investigating Benghazi.

With all that said, the most likely reality is that Nunes' Double Top Secret Decoder Ring Source doesn't actually exist, and he's just bullshitting the nation.

I'm watched the top two in the Senate intelligence committee are looking very good and non partisan. The Republican chair man said "We will go where the data takes us". They will follow the process. Good for them. The Senate has a constitutional role in review of the President and intelligence Lots better than the house disaster.

They looked like what we want from them. They said they did not coordinate this with the White House. Look out Trump.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

PNC, the Senate hearings are going to be very big-partisan. They will take it where the data takes them. The Republican chairman and the ranking member, made it clear that they are not going to let Trump interfere.

This is starting to look like 1972, and the Watergate hearings.

Richard Nixon Trump?
