Here is another theory...

This one is my own damned theory!
It's so crazy it just might be true!

So, Donald Trump loves to say when someone hits him, he hits back twice as hard. So who (very recently) has decided to get back into the game and take some shots at the President? You guessed it... Hillary Clinton.

Another day... another criminal investigation?

What better way to hit back twice as hard? Open a new investigation into Hillary Clinton with a new Attorney General, a new deputy Attorney General, and now a new Director of FBI. Didn't he once promise to "lock her up"?

Perhaps he was fine letting it all go, as long as Clinton was being quiet on the sidelines. But now that she is coming back out of the woods and telling the world she is part of the resistance and looking to start a PAC designed to oppose the President's agenda... perhaps Trump is no longer feeling so generous.

As long as Comey was around, there was no chance that we would see another Clinton investigation. But a new FBI director might be willing to go back and take another look at things. See if there still isn't some loose ends to look at. Perhaps the story regarding the Prime Minister of Bangladesh is the key to starting a new investigation? After all, using her office and status of Secretary of State for personal gain is a felony. Those allegations were never really ever addressed or investigated (as far as we know).

The Prime Minister is just the latest example of actual evidence that this is what she was doing.

Perhaps all of this is coincidence.
Perhaps not.

hmmmm....

My theory is that the President can't keep track of which "Real Truth" stories. And our esteemed host is finding it more difficult to claim that the President is honest and trustworthy.

He said that it wasn't the letter from Rod J Rosenstein that his spokesman/woman to say.

He's a grandstand and the personnel were upset and depressed because of his actions. This is in regards to Director Comey.

Today, the temporary director of the FBI, under oath told the Senate intelligence committee, that he Comey was highly respected and honest. If he lied to the Senate, he would face about five years in prison. The President was not under oath.

In another statement that Comey had told him that the FBI wasn't conducting an investigation into the possible connections between the Russian government and the Presidential election campaign, and administration.

Comey, under oath, told the Senate intelligence committee, had been inspecting the allegations of corruption in coordination with the campaign and administration, starting in July.

This is from only a portion of the interview that is airing now in some time zones.

This is just the first portion of the interview.

Look twit. I watched the recordings and made notes. I knew that some of what he claims were false. So I reran some of the recordings and yes talk shows in the "FAKE NEWS" and then did some reading on the comments. Look them up Loretta, and prove my point are inaccurate or do us a favor and just let it go. CH and I disagree on most things, but what I have here is documented in few minutes using google.

Those are documented easily, and are not just talking points. When our President makes a s statement that is 100%R false or misleading at the best are not taking points, It's important that our President tells the people the truth. He failed to do so. Or prove my comments false. Good luck with that.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

I don't know a damn thing about what he said. I didn't use other souses for my comments.

One point that you didn't think of, because you don't have the mental capacity to understand it,As usual your comments by a law professor are taken out of context. And on top of hat, he isn't party to any of he data, any more than you do.

An investigation into the alleged cooperation between the Trump campaign and the administration, while it is on going, is mot publicized In order investigate hundreds of contacts, allegations, and data that may be damaging or criminal, is not found easily. And it is against the law on these investigations must remain secret. None of it can be publicized until the entire report is complete.

The Comey Firing story was contradicted in his own words.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Wvuw_Zmubg The contradictions were backed up by the Wall Street Journal

Donald Trump Planned Firing of James Comey Before Aide’s Letter
President contradicts previous White House account that he acted on advice of Justice Department officials

There is more breaking news that will be on the headlines tomorrow morning.
He did not get any advice from his staff and he decided to conduct the interview without preparation. The story will work around the fact that media coverage made him very angry and held a closed meeting with his staff Someone spoke to the Washington post and reveals how the President reacts to negative coverage and his changing narrative.

John Dean who was Nixon's counsel and he said on yes, MSMBC, that the reactions by Trump are much like Nixon in 1974, shortly before he was forced to resign. Other stories from anonymous staff sources, stated that Mr. Trump watches the Sunday morning shows, and literally throws things at the screen and starts tweeting in anger. His comments today, contradicted statements made by V.P Pence. There are no leaks on how he feels, but you would understand his feelings.

This day to my mind resembles the last days of Nixon. I don't think he will be impeached in a short time. But several people who have worked with the President are going to get subpoenas in a few days to appear before the Senate Intelligence committee. They will be sworn in. This isn't going away any rime soon.

what "data"?

you seem mesmerized by this mysterious "data."

i think the word you're looking for is EVIDENCE. and so far, according to multiple high ranking officials, there ain't none. not linking trump to any collusion with the russian government.

"This isn't going away any rime soon."

i certainly hope not. rog, i have never seen the left so batshit, unhinged, hair on fire, trump monsters under their bed, fucking CRAZED.

and it is absolutely beautiful. MSDNC has morphed into "one flew over the cuckoo's nest."

i want this shit to go on, and on, and on, and on, and on.

and with a little luck and some shrewd politicking and lawyering and investigative work i hope it all leads back to the clinton's, their foundation, cheryl mills, mrs. carlos danger, the DNC and their corruption...

...all of it. i want to see this dumpster fire boomerang all the way back to the assholes who are truly corrupt.

and i want to see their asses in federal prison.

in my mind, the most important part of draining the swamp is returning to adherence to our constitution and the rule of law. and the first step towards that goal is to go after those who have been flouting the law and have been getting away with far too much for far too long.

and 'ette is right - be very careful what you wish for.

judging by just the looney bin that is MSDNC, you guys are getting WAY out over the tips of your skis on this whole thing.

Another reason I abhor conservatives....their abject stupidity when it comes to protecting the environment. From wunderground tropical.

The “conservative groups” urging President Donald Trump to withdraw from the Paris climate change agreement have accepted tens of millions of dollars from groups linked to the billionaire petrochemical brothers Charles and David Koch, ExxonMobil, and the Mercer family.

More than 40 groups have co-signed an open letter urging Trump to keep his campaign promise and “withdraw fully from the Paris Climate Treaty.”

The groups, including the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), The Heartland Institute, and the Heritage Foundation, claim failing to withdraw from the treaty could put Trump’s policy agenda of promoting fossil fuels at risk.

The Wall Street Journal has quoted a White House spokesperson saying the president will not make a decision on the Paris agreement until after meeting G-7 leaders later this month.

Analysis carried out by DeSmog and the Climate Investigations Center (CIC) shows many of the groups signing the letter have taken multi-million dollar donations from groups tied to the Koch brothers, who own Koch Industries. Several of the groups have accepted cash from oil giant ExxonMobil while many also deny the basic science linking fossil fuel burning to dangerous climate change.

In the letter, the groups say Trump should withdraw from the Paris deal and “stop all taxpayer funding of UN global warming programs” — two promises made by Trump during his campaign.

Claims of Interference with FBI Russia Investigation

A source tells CBS News that the Russia investigation is considered to be “a crisis” within the FBI and “there is a whole lot of interfering.”

“The succession of events surrounding Comey’s firing is not considered to be a coincidence by the agency. In the week before he was terminated, Comey asked Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein for additional resources to pursue the Russia investigation.”

HuffPost: “The breadth of the president’s interference in the investigations of his own campaign has shocked officials at law enforcement agencies and on Capitol Hill, both for the extent to which it disregards political norms and the potential it has to upend legitimate oversight. And it’s forced a major readjustment within those agencies to try and immunize themselves from White House influence.”

the counter intelligence investigation into potential russian government interference into our election is a major effort.

Comey Only Promised Trump ‘Honesty’

The New York Times reports on a private dinner President Trump had with FBI Director James Comey just seven days into the new administration.

“As they ate, the president and Mr. Comey made small talk about the election and the crowd sizes at Mr. Trump’s rallies. The president then turned the conversation to whether Mr. Comey would pledge his loyalty to him.

“Mr. Comey declined to make that pledge. Instead, Mr. Comey has recounted to others, he told Mr. Trump that he would always be honest with him, but that he was not ‘reliable’ in the conventional political sense.”
_____________

Oh that was a mistake. The President wanted unquestioning loyalty.

Most Think Trump’s Dismissal of Comey Was Wrong

A new NBC News/Survey Monkey poll finds 54% of Americans think President Trump’s dismissal of FBI Director James Comey was not appropriate, while 38% say it was appropriate.

In addition, 46% think Trump fired Comey due to his handling of the Russia investigation, another 24% think the dismissal was due to the Clinton email investigation and 22% said it was something else.

A White House’s Credibility Is a Terrible Thing to Waste

First Read (excerpt): “This isn’t the first time, of course, that Trump and his team have been caught in contradictions, inaccurate statements, and outright whoppers. (Remember the inaugural’s crowd size? Or Trump’s claim that Barack Obama wiretapped him?) But it’s amazing on a matter that’s so important — and that was executed by the White House on its own timetable — that the Trump White House can’t tell a straight story here.

“So what happens when there’s a story outside the White House’s control (like war, natural disaster, or another kind of tragedy)? Those are times when a president and White House will need a deep reservoir of credibility with the American public. But what happens when that reservoir is empty?..."

Like I said before, the Clinton's cannot stop. They have amassed their vast fortune from activities related to their political positions, and on numerous occasions spanning decades, both of them have evaded prosecutions by virtue of their political prominence. It is not possible for them to fade into the background and enjoy their riches - they have no choice but to stay "all-in" for both political influence and the power that comes with that level of wealth.

The only way they stop is with political pressure, continual investigations into their dealings, and ultimately charges filed. The sooner Trump's team realizes this, the better. Provided they actually care what the Clinton's do, which isn't a given.

BTW, has the Justice Department been purged of Clinton insiders yet, or just the upper levels?
