Jim Acosta simply wrong...

Hey Jim
  • The The New Colossus poem was not emblazoned on the Statue of Liberty. It was added in 1903 on a bronze plaque, which was mounted on a pedestal inside the lower level.
  • It actually is currently a requirement of naturalization to speak English. In other words, your assertion that it's not been a requirement is dead wrong.
  • It is estimated that over two billion people speak English as either their first or second language. English is not limited (as you suggest) to Great Britain and Australia.

Stupid beyond your norm, CH. When I lived in europe, American's were too dayum lazy or stupid to speak in the local language and it was painfully evident that most did not care because most locals in the big cities were well equipped to speak english. American's were not held in high regard because of that which still holds today. Be proud, single language americans. Miller is nothing more than a skinny white bully who thinks his shit don't stink....kinda like trump....

How is Trumping doing on his great mandate? Infrastructure, tax reform, repeal of Obamacare. The southern wall.

Has America's Greatness been rekindled in the eyes of our European allies? Are Russia and China treading lightly yet, enemies in North Korea and Iran cowering in fear? Has Trump even reconciled with the UK folks enough yet to muster up the backbone to visit the country?

I'd say, so far, Trump has a big fat Zero in all of this. Perhaps he'll pick a fight with another news reporter, and perhaps that is American Greatness as far as he's concerned.

Whatta ya know, climate change is cyclical and the sun has a lot do with it. Shocking

The Sun as climate driver is repeatedly discussed in the literature but proofs are often weak. In order to elucidate the solar influence, we have used a large number of temperature proxies worldwide to construct a global temperature mean G7 over the last 2000 years. The Fourier spectrum of G7 shows the strongest components as ~1000-, ~460-, and ~190 - year periods whereas other cycles of the individual proxies are considerably weaker. The G7 temperature extrema coincide with the Roman, medieval, and present optima as well as the well-known minimum of AD 1450 during the Little Ice Age. We note that the temperature increase of the late 19th and 20th century is represented by the harmonic temperature representation, and thus is of pure multiperiodic nature. It can be expected that the periodicity of G7, lasting 2000 years so far, will persist also for the foreseeable future. It predicts a temperature drop from present to AD 2050, a slight rise from 2050 to 2130, and a further drop from AD 2130 to 2200. --Horst-Joachim Lüdecke and Carl-Otto Weiss, The Open Atmospheric Science Journal (11) 2017.

The real story is the grand jury, but of course that's ignored.

Let's not forget about the new poll puts present at 33% with white male high school education whites only 44% of them.

60% of them don't think he's even qualified or honest. Red noses are far more important.

Are you blind or deaf? This is a nuclear weapon and you're going to watch this blow up and you won't believe how bad that's going to treat your best buddy Donald Trump.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has impaneled a grand jury in Washington, The Wall Street Journal reports, in the latest sign his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election is moving quickly.

A spokesman for Mueller declined to comment to the newspaper, and President Trump’s attorney, Ty Cobb, said he was unaware of a grand jury but welcomed any steps that brought the investigation closer to its conclusion. That’s somewhat different than Trump’s previous statements; the president has called the investigation “the single greatest WITCH HUNT in American political history.”

Reuters confirmed the Journal report of the Washington grand jury, and also reported that grand-jury subpoenas had been issued in relation to a July 2016 meeting at Trump Tower in which Donald Trump Jr., the president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, and then-campaign chair Paul Manafort met with a woman they were told was a “Russian government lawyer” offering damaging information about Hillary Clinton. It was not immediately clear if the subpoenas came from the Washington grand jury.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Separately, CNN reported that Mueller’s probe has now expanded well past the 2016 election. “Sources described an investigation that has widened to focus on possible financial crimes, some unconnected to the 2016 elections, alongside the ongoing scrutiny of possible illegal coordination with Russian spy agencies and alleged attempts by President Donald Trump and others to obstruct the FBI investigation,” the report said, adding that investigators were combing over Trump’s business empire.

The CNN report adds detail to earlier reports from The New York Times and Bloomberg that the probe had widened to look at potential financial crimes. Mueller is said to be investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to interfere with the election, business dealings of Trump and his associates, and whether Trump obstructed justice by firing FBI Director James Comey, asking him to drop an investigation into Michael Flynn, and other moves.

Trump has threatened Mueller in an attempt to keep his investigation confined to the election. He suggested in an interview with The New York Times that he might fire Mueller if the probe moved beyond Russian interference. However, Mueller’s commission gives him broad latitude to pursue whatever crimes he comes across. If Trump tried to fire Mueller, it could set up a replay of the 1973 “Saturday Night Massacre,” in which President Richard Nixon fired the Watergate special prosecutor, though only after his attorney general and his deputy both refused to do so and resigned. The incident is known as the beginning of the end for Nixon. Republican senators have warned Trump against firing Mueller, saying it would produce a political catastrophe.

A grand jury investigation is a big deal. There's a lot of formation out there. WE don't know what yet, but it sure looks like they suspect Donald Trump of a lot of different things.

Top FBI agents could be subpoenaed to speak about Donald Trump and the conversations with the fired header the FBI we just don't know what they're going to call yet. They could, I think, call the president. A grand jury is a very big deal. The people called to testify are not given lawyers. And if they lie under oath they are facing major years in prison everybody would be anyone that lies. And given the fact that the president has demonstrable e lied I don't know how many times we may be seeing the end of his term a lot sooner than we thought the full four years. But that's just pure speculation.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

And the Wall Street Journal has transcript of the conversation between the president and several presidents of foreign countries shortly after he got sworn in including Mexico Argentina Australia and others. The one in Mexico and one with Australia if you read them were very tense and Trump was. If you read it you wonder if the guys even sober or sane.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Shortly after the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller in May, acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe told several of the highest-ranking managers of the bureau they should consider themselves possible witnesses in any investigation into whether President Donald Trump engaged in obstruction of justice, according to two senior federal law enforcement officials.

McCabe has told colleagues that he too is a potential witness in the probe of whether Trump broke the law by trying to thwart the FBI's Russia investigation and the investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government to defeat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

Two senior federal law enforcement officials have told me that the new revelations illustrate why they believe the potential case against Trump is stronger than outsiders have thought.

“What you are going to have is the potential for a powerful obstruction case,” a senior law enforcement official said. “You are going to have the [former] FBI director testify, and then the acting director, the chief of staff to the FBI director, the FBI’s general counsel, and then others, one right after another. This has never been the word of Trump against what [James Comey] has had to say. This is more like the Federal Bureau of Investigation versus Donald Trump.”

Trump and his supporters have long argued that it would be difficult, if not impossible, for the special counsel to bring an obstruction case against Trump. The case would rely on the word of one man versus another, that of the president of the United States versus the FBI director he fired. But this was never the case.

Including Comey, as many as 10, and possibly more, of the nation’s most senior law enforcement officials are likely to be questioned as part of the investigation into whether Trump committed obstruction of justice, according to two government investigators with firsthand knowledge of the matter. Comey’s notes on his conversations could also be used as evidence, according to many reports.

Witnesses in front of a grand jury abut have to testify under oath including possibly President Trump. the FBI agents will testify will be working off the notes after talking with Comey. They are going to testify, if there is any collusion or obstruction of justice by the president in his comments today Mr. Comey.

President Trump never tells the truth the first time out. He better do it this time or he's going to jail. Bill Clinton lied under oath to a grand jury's biggest mistake you ever made and he knows that.

A grand jury is a very big deal it really is. Reports are saying that he is extremely frustrated and possibly scared because he may be in serious jeopardy. Not on only his presidency but he might spend time in prison. If it goes that that, and it looks like it might. I'm not sure if it goes that way, but with impeachment or resignation.

Because you and I are both at a point now where we are both saying we are not to pay for the wall. From a political standpoint, that is what we will say. We cannot say that anymore because if you are going to say that Mexico is not going to pay for the wall, then I do not want to meet with you guys anymore because I cannot live with that. I am willing to say that we will work it out, but that means it will come out in the wash and that is okay. But you cannot say anymore that the United States is going to pay for the wall. I am just going to say that we are working it out. Believe it or not, this is the least important thing that we are talking about, but politically this might be the most important talk about. But in terms of dollars – or pesos – it is the least important thing. I know how to build very inexpensively, so it will be much lower than these numbers I am being presented with, and it will be a better wall and it will look nice. And it will do the job.

------------
The wall is a scam and always has been and then he of course repeated it last night.
That speech last night was what would you say???? and saying crazy bonkers sure as hell was not, as you would expect from the president of United States.

Transcripts of these recordings are entertaining???frightening, sure hell ain't normal. Crooked Hillary crooked Hillary Hillary!!! the greatest electoral victory in the history of the United States!

And he again claimed that the investigations done by Mr. Mueller are Democratic propaganda, not just investigations.

The grand jury system is very difficult for someone who cannot tell the truth. Any comments under oath, and if they are not accurate, the penalty is several years in prison for a felony.

I will not be surprised if the president is summoned to testify, we will see "I am refusing to testify under my rights by the fifth amendment."

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

As usual, Loretta is too fucking stupid to say anything coherent.

A grand jury is a big deal, a really big deal . Sources of information are very big, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post and the New York Times and Vox, because it is accurate. It's very possible that several FBI agents, experienced ones who know Mr.Comey will be called to discussing the possibility of obstruction of justice under oath.

Look out.

By tomorrow, 164 million Americans will live in the 26 states that are wholly controlled by Republicans, 109 million will live in states where power is shared between the parties, and only 50 million will live in the six states controlled by the Democrats.

Those who run the Democratic Party spend their time overwhelmingly in Washington, California and New York, and they read the New York Times and the Washington Post. They watch CNN and MSNBC, along with network news. As a result, I am not sure they are fully attuned to how unpopular their party has become in most of America. They may win a tactical victory against President Trump, whose inexperience and personality make him vulnerable. But I suspect that very few voters are responding to the Democrats’ daily assault on the administration by saying, In the next election I am going to change my mind and vote liberal! On the contrary, it may be that the Democrats’ hysterical, unprecedented assault on the president will prove to be a distraction that actually retards their ability to address their party’s long-term decline.

@BarackObama played golf yesterday. Now he heads to a 10 day vacation in Martha's Vineyard. Nice work ethic.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 15, 2011
_______________

This was one of dozens of tweets criticizing Obama for playing golf. It was one of a handful that also dinged Obama for taking a vacation.

On the campaign trail, Trump was adamant: He would rarely play golf — “I’m not going to have time to go play golf,” he once said — and he certainly wasn’t going to take a lot of vacation. (“There’s just so much to be done,” he told “60 Minutes,” “so I don’t think we’ll be very big on vacations.”)

On Friday, Trump will head to his golf course in Bedminster, N.J., for a 17-day vacation. That’s nearly twice as long as the vacation Obama took in August during his first year in office, when he went to Martha’s Vineyard.
