Some coaches get fired for allowing their team to take a knee at a football game...

Of course who doesn't understand that praying is so much more offensive
than disrespecting veterans, fallen soldiers, and the flag that represents the
m.

Think about how the left was offended when Tebow kneeled.

they got fired for taking the wrong knee.

take a knee in prayer to worship your God like tim tebow and you are the target of merciless ridicule.

take a knee to protest some ancient injustice which never affected you, or better yet, to protest a president that gives you the sadz, and you're supposed to be some kind of hero.

it's interesting -

while the left is losing politically in a big way, they are winning the culture wars. they have chosen to politicize things that are in no way political, and to pick fights over things that should never be fought over.

we had eight years of this shit under 0linsky, and many would say that's exactly why the left has been politically decimated, but the left is good at playing the long game. andrew breitbart always said that "politics is downstream of culture" and i think he's right. and so does the left. they'll forgo short term political gains for long term cultural ones because when liberal ideology is ingrained in the culture, you can't just use an election to vote it out of office. it's like herpes, it's forever.

the left is evil. and it plays for keeps. trump gets this.

Things are really going wonderfully for Trump and the GOP. See below.

Most Think Corporations Aren’t Taxed Enough

A new ABC News/Washington Post poll shows that 65% of Americans feel large corporations pay too little in taxes.

“Given what the public knows about it, they oppose Trump’s tax plan by 44% to 28%, with a substantial 28% undecided. Half of those polled expect the administration’s plan to reduce taxes on the wealthy, while just 10% think it’ll reduce taxes on the middle class. A quarter expect equal treatment.”

Team Trump Prepares the Shiv for Mitch McConnell

“The Trump White House is gearing up to lay blame for a series of likely failures this week squarely at the feet of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY),” the Daily Beast reports.

“On Tuesday, Republican primary voters in Alabama are poised to reject Trump and McConnell’s preferred pick for the seat, Sen. Luther Strange (R-AL). The next day, a Republican-authored last-ditch attempt to repeal and replace Obamacare is almost certain to go down to defeat after , if it comes to a vote at all.

“The dual setbacks could have profound ramifications throughout the party, forcing it to reckon with a Republican electorate deeply upset with its inability to move an agenda and its own inability to get that agenda moved. The rush to assign responsibility for that failure is taking place before it even occurs.”

A huge 'Monday Night Football' boosted NFL ratings, despite Trump attacks

Despite presidential controversy amid a prominent NFL protest movement, and a tepid "Sunday Night Football," a large audience for "Monday Night Football" actually propelled the NFL's third week into a year-over-year ratings improvement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The outlet reported that the average rating across all Sunday and Monday game was up 3% compared to the same week in 2016.

The "Monday Night Football" matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals made for the strongest ratings for a "MNF" game this season. Ratings for the game rose 63% above the week three game from 2016, according to ESPN, though that game suffered from being in direct competition with a presidential debate.

As ESPN broke with tradition to air the national anthem before the "MNF" game, the entire Dallas Cowboys team, including owner Jerry Jones, kneeled together before the anthem.

So to clarify...

Last year's ratings (which were down considerably from the previous years ratings)...

had a lame Monday Night Game that was in direct competition to a Presidential Debate featuring Donald Trump...

and this year's set of weekend games (based entirely on the Cowboys being on MNF and not in direct competition with a Presidential debate)...

Was up 3%

but still down from two years ago.

Meanwhile, the season totals (so far) that does not have any Presidential debates to compete with... is down double digits?

And this is "reason to celebrate" huh?

This would be funny argument, if not so sad.
