Breaking News - Proof of collusion finally found!

Of course, you won't be hearing about this in the MSM
Before the Obama administration approved a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium, the FBI had gathered substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States, according to government documents and interviews.
Federal agents used a confidential U.S. witness working inside the Russian nuclear industry to gather extensive financial records, make secret recordings and intercept emails as early as 2009 that showed Moscow had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, FBI and court documents show.
They also obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill.
The racketeering scheme was conducted “with the consent of higher level officials” in Russia who “shared the proceeds” from the kickbacks, one agent declared in an affidavit years later.
Rather than bring immediate charges in 2010, however, the Department of Justice (DOJ) continued investigating the matter for nearly four more years, essentially leaving the American public and Congress in the dark about Russian nuclear corruption on U.S. soil during a period when the Obama administration made two major decisions benefiting Putin’s commercial nuclear ambitions. The first decision occurred in October 2010, when the State Department and government agencies on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States unanimously approved the partial sale of Canadian mining company Uranium One to the Russian nuclear giant Rosatom, giving Moscow control of more than 20 percent of America’s uranium supply.

If you read the whole article, there appears to be more hard evidence of  collusion between Obama officials (mainly Clinton) and the Russians, than have even been offered as possibilities regarding Trump officials and the Russians.

Worse yet, but overseeing most of this was current Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and of course the person in charge of the FBI at the time was Robert Mueller.

This begs the question. What would happen if the actual Attorney General (Jeff Sessions) called for an independent prosecutor to investigate this. This independent prosecutor would then be in a position to be investigating the same people in charge of investigating the alleged Russian interference in our election, and possible ties to Americans.

This is a distraction. The real story is the deep and horrible person who used the deaths of Americans in combat, as a cheap attack on Barack Obama. He claimed that the previous Presidents didn't express care for the families of the fallen.

He was disrespectful and they know it now. As do millions of Americans, including those who supported him. One most difficult duties of the office of the President is issuing heartfelt condolences to the families of the fallen.

President Donald Trump turned it into a cheap political attack on Barack Obama.

Expression of disgust on this are coming from all sides of the political spectrum. But the most effective and yes he's dying of brain cancer, was the speech he gave, condemning the half baked comments. McCain has nothing to lose. So the President said he will respond "and it won't be pretty ". This is from the same man who said he did not consider that McCain was not a hero.

Sorry my friend, but this post is a prime example of Trumpism. No one outside of the tiny circle of bigots, nuts and Alzheimer's victims. The President is a coward and avoided the Vietnam war and has turned the White House into a mental illness ward.

His narcissistic personality disorder is apparent to almost every one can see. There is a former Republican member of the house of representatives said that the Democratic party must take back control of the legislative branch in order to keep the President from permanently harming the country.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Excuse a couple grammatical errors, but the previous post is the real story. The post is nothing short of a distraction to the real story on the mentally ill President. It almost looks like you are just following orders.

So Roger...

The real story isn't that there was bribes, collusion, kick backs, and that our laws were blatantly broken and our national security interests were compromised... and that both the FBI and Justice Department knew about it... but decided against any tangible action.

The real story is that the President said something that offended you?

Gotcha!!

I'm not throwing a tantrum my friend. I am addressing the real life issue that is posing a clear and dangerous threat to the United States and for what it stands. President Donald Trump has disgraced the office of the President of The United States, and to the country at large.

Your accusations dating back to events years ago, that today are meaningless at this point in the history of our beloved country. Donald Trump is dangerous and for reasons that I cannot understand, that you go backwards in time and ignore what matters right now!

You will never accept the truth about the President.

WASHINGTON — President Trump has denied a congresswoman’s account that he told a grieving soldier’s widow in a phone call that the soldier “knew what he signed up for,” saying on Wednesday that the Democratic representative’s description was “totally fabricated.”

Representative Frederica Wilson, Democrat of Florida, recounted details of Mr. Trump’s call with Sgt. La David T. Johnson’s widow. On Tuesday, Ms. Wilson was in the car with the widow, Myeshia Johnson, and said she overheard the phone call from the president, who was on speakerphone. Sergeant Johnson, a Green Beret, was killed in an ambush in Niger earlier this month that killed three other soldiers and injured two.

Ms. Wilson said that during the call, the president told Ms. Johnson “something to the fact that he knew what he was getting into when he signed up,” the congresswoman said in an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Wednesday.

“But that’s not the worst part,” Ms. Wilson said. “She was crying the whole time and when she hung up the phone she looked at me and said ‘he didn’t even remember his name.’ That’s the hurting part.”

Mr. Trump’s comments were the latest in a series of remarks he made this week drawing attention to grieving families of fallen solders.

Mr. Trump took to Twitter early Wednesday and disputed the account.

Mr. Trump did not say what proof he had.

Ms. Wilson said she stood by her description of the call.

“I don’t know what kind of proof he could be talking about,” Ms. Wilson said on CNN’s “New Day.”

She added, “I have proof, too.”

Later on Wednesday morning, Ms. Wilson pushed back against the president in a Twitter post.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Sergeant Johnson, 25, was from Miami Gardens, Fla., the Defense Department said. He and Ms. Johnson had two children, and Ms. Johnson is pregnant. The Pentagon has launched an investigation into the ambush in Niger.

Mr. Trump has said very little about the Niger episode. When he was asked by a reporter about this on Monday, he responded by saying he had written letters to the soldiers’ families. Mr. Trump compared his actions to past presidents and said past presidents have not always contacted families of those killed in action.

Mr. Trump singled out former President Barack Obama, saying he had not made such calls, an assertion that quickly drew angry rebukes from former Obama aides.

In a radio interview on Tuesday, Mr. Trump suggested that Mr. Obama never called John Kelly, a retired Marine Corps general and now the White House chief of staff, when his son died in Afghanistan in 2010.

“You could ask General Kelly, ‘Did he get a call from Obama?’ ” Mr. Trump said in an interview on Fox News Radio. “I believe his policy was somewhat different than my policy. I can tell you my policy is I called every one of them.”

Mr. Trump’s tweet rebutting Ms. Wilson’s account of the phone call was his sixth Twitter post on Wednesday morning and came after Ms. Wilson’s description was discussed on morning news shows. Mr. Trump often takes to Twitter with reactions to what he sees on television.

Mr. Trump’s first Twitter posts were about the former F.B.I. director, James Comey, as well as about his Democratic opponent in the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton, and the ongoing debate about professional football players kneeling during the national anthem

On the other hand... Yes, Government corruption and FBI cover up does interest me. Since we can all be assured that "Russian collusion" arguments will still be tossed around by people like you for the rest of the Trump Presidency... one can literally watch the hypocrisy drip out of your pores, as you claim this information proving just that (with different people) to be "old news".

There is nothing old about US/Russian corruption and cover up that involves Rosenstein and Mueller... considering one basically hired the other to investigate Russian involvement in other areas. To suggest that there is no correlation and that such charges are "not important" to the current investigation proves you are either really really dumb, or just really really partisan.

You know what... I take that back. You could be both really really dumb and really really partisan.

The mother of a soldier killed in an ambush in Africa said Wednesday that President Trump "did disrespect my son" with remarks in a condolence telephone call.

Sgt. La David T. Johnson's mother, Cowanda Jones-Johnson, told The Washington Post that she was present during the call from the White House on Tuesday to Johnson's widow, Myeshia Johnson. Johnson's mother also stood by an account of the call from Rep. Frederica S. Wilson (D-Fla.) that Trump told Johnson's widow that her husband “must have known what he signed up for.”

"President Trump did disrespect my son and my daughter and also me and my husband," Jones-Johnson said.

Trump lashed back. He denied Wilson's account in a Twitter message Wednesday. He said he had "proof" that the exchange did not go as Wilson had described. Trump did not elaborate, but the claim again raised questions about whether the president tapes calls and conversations.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he has proof that a Democratic congresswoman "fabricated" her account of a call he made Tuesday to the widow of a soldier killed in an ambush in Africa earlier this month.

But that deceased soldier's mother said the congresswoman was correct in her characterization of what Trump said, telling The Washington Post that Trump disrespected her son and daughter-in-law.

Democratic Rep. Frederica Wilson of Florida told Miami ABC affiliate WPLG on Tuesday that Trump told Myeshia Johnson — the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson, one of the four troops killed during a mission in Niger earlier this month — that, "He knew what he signed up for ... but when it happens, it hurts anyway."

"It's so insensitive," Wilson later told CNN's Don Lemon. "He should have not have said that. He shouldn't have said it."

Wilson said she was riding in the car with Myeshia, who was on her way to the airport to receive her husband's body, when Trump called.

The Florida Democrat then told MSNBC Wednesday morning that the soldier's widow was "crying the whole time" and that when she hung up the phone, she looked at Wilson and said, "He didn't even remember his name."

She added that Trump "was almost like joking."

"He said, 'Well, I guess you knew' — something to the effect that 'he knew what he was getting into when he signed up, but I guess it hurts anyway.' You know, just matter-of-factly, that this is what happens, anyone who is signing up for military duty is signing up to die," Wilson said. "That's the way we interpreted it. It was horrible. It was insensitive. It was absolutely crazy, unnecessary. I was livid."

Trump responded to Wilson's comments on Wednesday morning, claiming that she "totally fabricated" her account of Trump's remarks.

BREAKING: Obama DOJ Allegedly Threatened FBI Informant To Silence Him On Russian Nuclear Corruption

In a blockbuster revelation, Victoria Toensing, the attorney for an FBI confidential witness, alleged that the Obama Department of Justice blocked her client from informing Congress that Russian executives told him how they facilitated the Obama administration's 2010 approval of the Uranium One deal and transferred millions of dollars in Russian nuclear funds to an entity assisting Bill Clinton’s foundation.

As The Hill reports, those machinations allegedly occurred while Hillary Clinton was serving as Secretary of State on the government panel that approved the deal, according to Toensing, a former Reagan Justice Department official and former chief counsel of the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Bill Clinton accepted $500,000 in Russian speaking fees in 2010, as The New York Times reported in 2015; Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Toensing wants the Trump Justice Department or the FBI to allow her client to be free of the nondisclosure agreement (NDA) he signed so he can reveal the corruption that took place. She stated, “All of the information about this corruption has not come out. And so my client, the same part of my client that made him go into the FBI in the first place, says, 'This is wrong. What should I do about it?'”

President Trump, in a personal phone call to a grieving military father, offered him $25,000 and said he would direct his staff to establish an online fundraiser for the family, but neither happened, the father said.

Chris Baldridge, the father of Army Cpl. Dillon Baldridge, told The Washington Post that Trump called him at his home in Zebulon, N.C., a few weeks after his 22-year-old son and two fellow soldiers were gunned down by an Afghan police officer in a suspected insider attack June 10. Their phone conversation lasted about 15 minutes, Baldridge said, and centered for a time on the father’s struggle with the manner in which his son was killed.

“I said, ‘Me and my wife would rather our son died in trench warfare,’ “ Baldridge said. “I feel like he got murdered over there.”

Trump’s offer of $25,000 adds another dimension to the president’s relations with Gold Star families, an honorific given to those whose loved ones die while serving in support of the nation’s wars. The disclosure follows questions about how often the president has called or written to grieving military families.

Trump said this week that he has “called every family of somebody that’s died, and it’s the hardest call to make.” At least 20 Americans have been killed in action since he became commander in chief in January. The Washington Post interviewed the families of 13 and found that his interactions with them vary. About half had received phone calls, they said. The others said they had not heard from the president.

In his call with Trump, Baldridge, a construction worker, expressed frustration with the military’s survivor benefits program. Because his ex-wife was listed as their son’s beneficiary, she was expected to receive the Pentagon’s $100,000 death gratuity — even though “I can barely rub two nickels together,” he told Trump.

The president’s response shocked him.

“He said, ‘I’m going to write you a check out of my personal account for $25,000,’ and I was just floored,” Baldridge said. “I could not believe he was saying that, and I wish I had it recorded because the man did say this. He said, ‘No other president has ever done something like this,’ but he said, ‘I’m going to do it.’ “

The White House declined to comment on Baldridge’s account.

The president has faced worsening backlash since details emerged of who was killed Oct. 4 alongside three other U.S. soldiers in Niger. After not addressing the incident for 12 days, Trump on Monday falsely claimed that previous presidents never or rarely called the families of fallen service members. In fact, they did so regularly.

Rep. Frederica S. Wilson (D-Fla.) said that Trump called Johnson’s widow, Myeshia Johnson, on Tuesday and said that her husband “knew what he was signing up for, but I guess it hurts anyway.” Wilson was riding in a limousine with the wife and said she heard the conversation on speakerphone.

Trump denied the allegation Wednesday morning. But the fallen soldier’s childhood guardian, Cowanda Jones-Johnson, told The Washington Post that she also was in the car when the White House called, and said that “President Trump did disrespect my son and my daughter and also me and my husband.”

Timeline: The Clintons, The Russians, And Uranium

There are obviously a lot of moving parts here, but this entire deal probably doesn’t get started without Bill Clinton and eventually proceeds with the approval of Hillary Clinton. All the while, the Clinton Foundation is taking in millions of dollars from those who benefit from the deal and Bill Clinton personally makes half a million dollars giving a speech in Moscow. And evidence that Russia was involved in a bribery and extortion scheme starting in 2009 doesn’t become public knowledge until October 2017.

All if this was known to the FBI investigators James Comey and Robert Mueller time and yet nothing was done about it at the time.

If nothing else there is now a prima facie case for firing Mueller.

Help me recall here, when Trump disrespectfully attacked the parents of the slain Veteran during one of the debates, what race were they?

I hope you're not suggesting that because of their race, the Johnson's were making up a story. I think if MY son died in Afghanistan, the last thing I'd be thinking about is badmouthing the President, and I surely doubt any person's race would make it any different.

I am predisposed to believe that someone traveling around with a Democratic Congresswoman would be willing to (along with the Congresswoman).... shall we say.... misrepresent what was said... in order to drive a political point and get on the news.

The fact that I believe black people are more prone to play the "disrespect" card is a matter of observation. You want to guess (for instance) what percentage of your NFL anthem "kneelers" are white vs black?

C.H. Truth said...

I find it amusing (and telling) that you would see Kahn as the "victim" of an attack, rather than the instigator of an attack. Hard to believe that you would not have seen that for exactly what it was (a campaign stunt of political identity).

Of course, ultimately I guess it backfired, huh?

wphamilton said...

Sure, the Khan thing was a campaign stunt and a distasteful one (have I ever said differently?) , but the fact remains that Trump took the bait and attacked him and his family. And of course he attacked McCain as well. Surely you don't believe that so many of McCain's conservative Republican supporters were "playing the disrespect card" because they are Whites. Or maybe you're thinking it's a Black thing, and a Muslim thing, but with the Whites it's genuine?

I'm not "predisposed to believe" that Trump wanted to call and make the widow cry. There's no need for that, because I know fairly certainly that that's what he DID do, for whatever reasons pass for reason with Trump.

Perhaps he's too dumb to know any better, and too self-centered to care.

Trump took the bait and attacked him and his family

Which actually was a turning point.

The very concept that a Islamic "gold star" family member was not untouchable actually made a much stronger statement in the eyes of people, than most people would like to admit.

In many ways it was Trump in a nutshell. He did exactly what the social elitists believe would doom him, and yet he came out of it stronger. Democrats set a trap, Trump smashed the trap, ate the bait, and walked away stronger because of it all.

Sure, the media will tell you he lost.
They always believe he loses.
But yet, he's still the President.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

But, yet he's still the President, in the worst case in the history of the United States.

The mother of a soldier killed in an ambush in Africa said Wednesday that President Trump “did disrespect my son” with remarks in a condolence telephone call.

Sgt.

“President Trump did disrespect my son and my daughter and also me and my husband,” Jones-Johnson said.
Trump lashed back. He denied Wilson's account in a Twitter message Wednesday. He said he had “proof” that the exchange did not go as Wilson had described. Trump did not elaborate, but White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said the president had not taped the conversation. She said several White House staffers were in the room during the call, including chief of staff John Kelly.

Later Wednesday, Trump expanded on his denial.

“I didn't say what that congresswoman said; didn't say it all.  She knows it,” Trump said when asked about the exchange by a reporter. “I had a very nice conversation with the woman, with the wife who was — sounded like a lovely woman. Did not say what the congresswoman said, and most people aren’t too surprised to hear that.”
Trump spoke at a meeting at the White House with members of the Senate Finance Committee.

Wilson had said that the Johnson family was “astonished” by Trump's remarks during the phone call, which Wilson said she heard via a speaker phone while riding in a car with the Johnson family.

“She was crying the whole time, and when she hung up the phone, she looked at me and said, ‘He didn’t even remember his name.’ That’s the hurting part.” Wilson told MSNBC on Wednesday that Johnson's widow was shaken by the exchange.
Wilson went on to say Trump “was almost like joking. He said, ‘Well, I guess you knew’ — something to the effect that ‘he knew what he was getting into when he signed up, but I guess it hurts anyway.’ You know, just matter-of-factly, that this is what happens, anyone who is signing up for military duty is signing up to die. That’s the way we interpreted it. It was horrible. It was insensitive. It was absolutely crazy, unnecessary. I was livid.”

“She was in tears. She was in tears. And she said, ‘He didn’t even remember his name.’”

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

I don't believe that he did that to set the bait. He did it because his impulsive narcissistic personality disorder led him to do it.

MOTHER OF SOLDIER KILLED IN SYRIA WROTE TO TRUMP, SAYING ‘SOME DAYS I DON’T WANT TO LIVE,’ HE NEVER RESPONDED

OCTOBER 18, 2017
Nathan Francis

Sheila Murphy fell into a depression after her Army son was killed in Syria in May, prompting her to write to President Donald Trump and tell him that “some days I don’t want to live.”

Trump never responded.

Trump’s treatment of the families of U.S. soldiers killed overseas has come into sharp focus this week after the president was confronted for his silence on four service members killed in Niger. In justifying why he had waited more than two weeks without making a public statement, Trump accused former President Barack Obama of not calling the families of dead service members.

She was on television today and her grief was heart wrenching to watch. She never received anything from your President.

You claim that I'm diseased, but I'm very glad to that I don't have the disease that has closed your mind.

Many families of soldiers killed during Obama’s presidency have come forward to say that Trump’s statement is false, and other families of members killed during Trump’s presidency have said his claim that he calls bereaved families is wrong as well.

Florida Democrat Wilson no friend of veterans, vote record shows

The Florida Democrat who criticized President Donald Trump this week for being "insensitive" toward the widow of a U.S. soldier slain in Africa might be facing similar criticism herself.

It turns out that U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson has frequently voted against measures intended to help veterans and their families, according to VoteSmart.org, a vote-tracking site whose founding board members included former presidents Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford.

The measures that Wilson opposed included a bill that could have ensured that families of four soldiers slain in Afghanistan in 2013 received death and burial benefits.

In fact, Wilson’s voting record on veterans issues may call into question the sincerity of her recent defense of U.S. service members and their families.

Despite Wilson's claim to be “committed to honoring our service members, not only with words but with deeds,” she has voted against most bills ensuring continued funding for veteran benefits, including payments to widows of fallen soldiers, the vote-tracking site shows.

She has also opposed measures designed to improve the Department of Veterans Affairs.

In March 2013, Wilson opposed the “Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act,” which prevented a government shutdown and provided funds for the U.S. military and the VA.

The bill, which passed with bipartisan support and was signed into law by the Obama administration, provided funding to the military and the VA until the next government shutdown showdown.

What did a great man once said about hypocrisy?

Poll: Plurality Of Americans Believes Media Makes Up Stories About Trump

On the one hand, it’s an amazing testament to how far public trust in the media has fallen that more Americans than not believe they’re publishing false stories about the president.

On the other hand, how is this number not 100 percent? It’s not a matter of opinion. The media does, in fact, sometimes publish honest-to-goodness fake news about Trump and his orbit.

Actually, there’s an answer to that. The word Morning Consult used in its question was “fabricate.” Quote: “Based on what you know, do you believe the nations major news organizations fabricate news stories about President Trump and his administration, or not?” People weren’t being asked here about mere “fake news,” i.e. bad reporting or dubious sourcing. They were asked whether they think the press is inventing stuff whole cloth. And still, a plurality said yes. If there’s a more damning statistic about lost faith in journalism, I don’t know what it is.

We just spent an entire day arguing over whether the president was insensitive during a private condolence call.

There was a time this would have never made the news everybody would have respected the privacy of the grieving family.

Now they are stuck in the middle of a political football game. No wonder the people are disgusted.

Massachusetts high school students pretended to be Muslims in the "Islamic" city of Jerusalem as part of a class assignment used in Newton Public Schools to teach about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a new report revealed.

One father was particularly upset when he discovered his daughter had been assigned what he described as an inflammatory pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel article, according to the report. The man was allegedly told by the school's principal that lessons the next year would be even more upsetting to him.

The class assignment, “Cities: Connecting the Islamic Word,” was published in an excerpt from a book by CAMERA, the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting.

“As our concluding project on the Islamic world, you will work in groups to simulate a historical hajj (pilgrimage) to Mecca in class," a teacher wrote in the assignment description. "Each of you will be part of a group of Muslim pilgrims from one of the following eight Islamic cities or regions, around a rough time period.”

One of the eight “Islamic” cities is Jerusalem, and students are instructed to set up a “tent,” which will display newspaper articles about “their” cities and cultural artifacts to represent their Islamic “hometowns.”

The back-and-forth made a furious spectacle of what is, at the best of times, one of the most emotionally wrenching contacts between the commander in chief and a bereaved citizen. It overshadowed any talk of Mr. Trump’s legislative priorities and instead recalled his history of feuding with military families or even, as in the case of Senator John McCain, a war hero.

This isn’t complicated. It’s simply about human values and decency.

John McCain, war hero and United States senator, received the Liberty Medal this week.

In his speech he warned the United States against turning toward “half-baked, spurious nationalism cooked up by people who would rather find scapegoats.”

The very next day Donald Trump acknowledges on television that he heard the criticism, warning: “People have to be careful because at some point I fight back. I’m being very nice. I’m being very, very nice. But at some point I fight back and it won’t be pretty.”

So here’s McCain, imprisoned and tortured for five years in a hellhole of a North Vietnamese prison, who defines courage for the rest of us (and is now waging another grim struggle).

His antagonist received five deferments, and never served.

When I was 12 years old, in 1954, at Sandy Creek Central School, teachers in that civically engaged era had us watch the Army-McCarthy hearings in the classroom.

The antagonist here was Senator Joseph McCarthy, who had repeatedly impugned the loyalty of military people and so many other Americans.
It was a terribly hateful, destructive time in our country, and people were cowed for a long time (including the fully decent President Dwight Eisenhower).
The memorable moment in those hearings came when Joseph Welch, chief counsel for the Army, finally said: “Senator, you’ve done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir?”
I would ask President Trump the same question.
All Americans need to want the President to succeed, but that can only be done if he brings us together, not drive us apart.
He is not bringing us together.
We all need to speak up.
