Franken blows Hillary theory to hell

Hillary suggested that Al Franken should be forgiven, because like her husband, he admitted wrongdoing and apologized.

But the only thing Franken has admitted to is what was caught on camera. The rest he has denied, and provided back handed apologies for what he appears to be suggesting are all misunderstandings.

After a decent first response, it has gone downhill for Franken supporters

I will be curious if Hillary changes her tune or continues to stand by her men.

This blows away the President's support for women's rights as he has repeatedly lied about.

To the droves of women speaking up about sexual harassment and discrimination, the Trump administration’s message is clear: Shut up.

Behind the scenes, and mostly through executive orders, the White House is making it harder for women to report sexual harassment and fight sex discrimination.

The clearest example came in March. It received little coverage at the time. President Donald Trump reversed an Obama-era order that forbid federal contractors from keeping secret sexual harassment and discrimination cases. The 2014 rule prohibited these companies, which employ about 26 million people, from forcing workers to resolve complaints through arbitration, an increasingly common method businesses use to settle disputes out of the public eye.

“This was a clear sign of the administration silencing women,” said Jessica Stender, senior staff attorney for Equal Rights Advocates, a women’s rights nonprofit.

And it’s only a small piece of the picture. “The Trump administration has a clear anti-women agenda,” Stender said. “I say that with complete certainty. This is an all-out, full frontal attack on women.”

The attack so far has seen the most success via executive order, but a vast swath of the public policies proposed or endorsed by administration officials attempt to scale back women’s rights. From Trump’s repeal of executive orders meant to reduce pay discrimination to the budget floated in May, the failed repeal of Obamacare, and now the Republican tax bills, actions taken or backed by this administration harm women.
To the droves of women speaking up about sexual harassment and discrimination, the Trump administration’s message is clear: Shut up.

He's got little choice in this matter. His background that includes at least twenty women who have made credible charges of sexual assault. Rich guys can grab a p****y.

On a political spectrum, it's going to make it even more difficult for the President and the Republicans with the women's vote in 2018 and beyond.

But it's looking more like a preemptive strike on hiding more sexual assault charges against him and his staff.

Democrats Hold Wide Lead In Generic Ballot

The Hill: “Democrats lead their Republican rivals by 10.7 percent on the generic congressional ballot, according to the most recent RealClearPolitics average of available polling data. That mark is the highest the RCP’s average has gone since just before the 2010 elections, where Republicans netted 63 House seats.

“It’s a gloomy sign for Republicans, and one that dovetails with President Trump’s sagging approval rating to boost Democratic optimism about taking the House and raises questions about whether Republicans will be able to take advantage of Democratic weakness on the Senate map.”

Historically Conservative Virginia County Goes Blue

“For the first time since 1961, Chesterfield County backed a Democrat for governor — and the driving forces in this Richmond suburb included women who defiantly trumpeted a political label their party has ducked for decades,” the Washington Post reports.

“Until Gov.-elect Ralph Northam (D) won Chesterfield County three weeks ago, the stretch of suburban and rural communities southwest of Richmond had been considered reliably Republican.

“Yet voters infuriated by Trump, many of them women and Hispanics who have migrated to the county in recent years, are redefining Chesterfield and alarming Virginia Republicans who have depended on the area to make up for the support the party lacks in urban areas.”

Seems to me, the tax bill will do nothing but enrich the rich and corporations.....But, this is the BS that is being spewed how all americans will benefit from more money to spend....anyone wanna bet??????

At the heart of these bills is a cut in the corporate tax rate to 20 percent, from 35 percent, that the administration and congressional leaders argue will encourage businesses to invest, hire more people and give workers raises. They base this claim on cherry-picked studies finding that countries with lower corporate tax rates have had higher wage growth, while ignoring evidence that past cuts to the corporate tax rate in the United States and Britain did not lead to economic booms or higher incomes.

In fact, many business executives say that a big tax cut would not propel them to invest and give raises. “From real world experience I can tell you that tax rates literally never came up in any discussion about hiring or pay levels,” David Mendels, a former top executive at Brightcove and Adobe, wrote on LinkedIn recently. Companies invest more when they anticipate greater demand for their goods and services. With the economy close to full employment and corporate profits at record levels, it is hard to see a tax cut doing much to stimulate investment.

At the same time, experts warn that by lowering tax rates for foreign earnings, the bills would encourage businesses to move more of their operations overseas. And the bills exempt some of those foreign profits from United States taxes entirely. Further, companies would be able to claim taxes paid in high-tax countries like Japan as a credit against profits earned in countries like Bermuda with no corporate tax.

Economists also expect the tax bills to lead to bigger trade deficits because the government would be forced to borrow more to pay its bills, driving up interest rates. Those higher rates would prompt foreigners to buy more United States bonds, driving up the value of the dollar. That would make American exports less attractive to other countries and imports cheaper to American consumers. American factories and their workers would become less competitive in the global market, adding new victims to the “rusted-out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation” that Mr. Trump deplored in his Inaugural Address.

Republicans appear to be hoping that Americans would be so happy with temporary tax cuts that would kick in next year that they would look for someone other than Mr. Trump or Mr. Ryan to blame when things didn’t work out as promised. But if the vast majority of serious economists are right, these bills would bring nothing but bad news. At least three Republican senators need to vote no to stop that from happening. Surely there are three such lawmakers with the integrity and decency to stop this boondoggle.

Al Franken’s approval rating has plummeted following sexual harassment allegations

The poll, conducted by Saint Paul ABC affiliate KSTP and SurveyUSA and conducted on Monday, showed that out of 600 Minnesotans surveyed, only 22 percent believed he should remain in office. Thirty-three percent of those polled said they believed Franken should resign his post in the Senate.

Carleton College Political Scientist Steven Schier, who spoke with KSTP on Thursday, said that the results were “striking” and noted that there was “no demographic group in the poll where a majority say he should remain in office.” Specifically, the poll showed, only 21 percent of male respondents said he should remain in office; a similarly dismal 23 percent of female respondents gave the same answer.

Breaking: Ex-Cop Making Roy Moore Harassment Claim Is Leftist, Anti-Moore Opponent

Few witnesses could be more damning against a purported sexual abuser of four decades ago than an ex-cop from that era. That is, unless the ex-cop has a hidden agenda. Like the former Gadsden, Alabama cop who claims police were told in the 1970s to ensure that now-GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore stayed away from teen cheerleaders — and who actually turns out to be a left-wing Moore opponent.

Faye Gary created quite a stir last week with her comments, though she confessed to MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell that the claims about Judge Moore were “just rumors” and that “we never got a complaint on it.”

What didn’t come out during her media interview — in which she appeared sober and non-partisan — is that she has an ideological axe to grind with the judge.

After confirming with the City of Gadsden Personnel Office that Gary actually had served as a police officer, I contacted her via a Facebook message. The passion and anger quickly emerged, with Gary making clear she objected to Moore’s stances on homosexuality, Islam and the display of the Ten Commandments.

In fact, the venom leapt from the page. Gary insisted that Moore will, as she put it, “pay for his stance on gays, Muslims and most of all for hiding behind the Ten Commandments for his political gain.” She seemed to be implying that he’ll suffer some kind of divine retribution.

Gary also became vulgar. After I told her the Gadsden Mall’s ex-manager contradicted her claim that Moore was suspended from the facility and that this is what happens when you listen to the “rumor mill” (her term), she wrote, “Thanks for your opinion but they r just like a[**] h[***]s we all have one.”

December Could Make or Break the Trump Presidency

Ryan Lizza: “Tuesday’s meeting at the White House between Trump and congressional leaders from both parties is meant to avoid a December 8th government shutdown. How much Republicans are willing to give Democrats may depend on the status of the G.O.P. tax bill.

"There are at least half a dozen G.O.P. senators with serious policy concerns regarding the tax proposal. And there are three Republican senators—John McCain and Jeff Flake, of Arizona, and Bob Corker, of Tennessee—who dislike Trump so much that they may be looking for reasons to oppose any legislation that empowers his Presidency.

"Republicans already have a ready-made conservative reason: the proposed tax changes will increase the deficit by $1.5 trillion.

“If the tax bill is cruising through the Senate—McConnell wants a vote next week—there may be less incentive for Republicans to risk a shutdown. But if it dies next week, or is delayed, Trump will be under intense pressure to avoid ending the year with no major legislative accomplishments—and the chaos of a government shutdown. In order to keep the government running, Trump would have to strike another deal with Pelosi and Schumer and sign a bipartisan spending deal that includes major Democratic priorities.

“As a result, Trump would end his first year in office with no Republican legislative accomplishments and two deals with Pelosi and Schumer that boost the Democratic agenda. If that seems likely to happen, it would enrage conservatives and the Republican base. For Trump, December could be the month that makes or breaks his first year in office.”

Say hello to senator Roy Moore.

Gosh, I sure hope we don’t come to find out that Conyers’s behavior with women staffers has been an open secret on the Hill for decades and that his friend Nancy has heard the rumors for 30 years. What a legacy that would be for her, petrified to use her authority as Democratic leader to purge the gropers in her ranks. As a Twitter pal notes, this is smoking-gun proof that the recent left-wing navel-gazing over whether Bill Clinton should have resigned 20 years ago is cynical nonsense. Faced with credible allegations against a much less powerful Democrat than Clinton in Conyers, one who’s waaaaaay past the age at which he should have retired and who’s been accused of having lost some of his mental capacity, the leader of the caucus whiffs on demanding that he step down. And worse than that, she cites his “icon” status as a point in his favor. Clinton, Conyers, and basically every male member of the Kennedy family, living or dead, would smile at that. It may be the single creepiest thing she’s ever said in public life.

Conyers needs to go and he needs to take Pelosi with him and a lot of Democrats won’t disagree after this. In the meantime, if Roy Moore has a campaign staff that’s even half-competent, he’ll have this clip on the air in Alabama in any format that’ll take it. Watching their least favorite Democrat shill for an accused harasser on her own side is going to convince Republicans who are on the fence about Moore that it’s not only okay for them to support him, it’s the responsible thing to do as a partisan by punishing Democratic hypocrisy. I think he just won the election.

STILL MORE POSSIBLE GOOD NEWS FOR YOUR BREAKFAST ENJOYMENT, SPAM FOR THE "CHRISTIAN" "PASTOR" ABOUT HIS IDOLS

The belated attempt by the left to cover their hypocrisy on sexual predators by throwing Bill and Hillary Clinton under the bus now that they have no further political use for them is staggering. They forget their mantra that his being serviced by Monica Lewinsky in the Oval Office was personal and didn’t matter as long as he was doing a good job as President. It was the GOP, you know, that was waging a war on women.

Republicans were the predators, as serial accuser and so-called feminist lawyer Gloria Allred reminded us when she appeared with a box of tissue and victims to accuse GOP candidates Herman Cain, Donald Trump and, now, Judge Roy Moore, She is not going to be found at a press conference with the victims of Sen. Bob Menendez, Sen. Al Franken, and Rep. John Conyers.

The “right on the issues” defense does not apply to Republicans like Judge Roy Moore, nor does presumption of innocence. Democratic hypocrites rushed to condemn Moore faster than you can say “Anthony Weiner.” Franken, Menendez, and Conyers are right on the issues, which may be why the chorus for their unseating is, to say the least, somewhat muted. Judge Moore has been accused of dallying with underage girls, which is a charge his accusers are mysteriously not bringing up against Bill Clinton, a frequent passenger on the jet of accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. As noted by the Daily Caller:

Former President Bill Clinton continues to remain silent about the 26 flights he took aboard convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet, dubbed the “Lolita Express,” which reportedly offered underage girls to passengers to rape....

...Bill Clinton had a habit of ditching his Secret Service protection when flying with child predator Epstein on his “Lolita Express”

Democrats have a pedophilia problem

Pedophile Seattle Democrat Mayor Ed Murray was forced to resign after a fifth person (his younger cousin) came forward and accused him of child molestation. Ed Murray isn’t the only Democrat pedophile out there. Joe Biden who routinely liked to fondle kids during members of congress swearing in has gotten away with it for years. Anthony Weiner sexted teen age girls with his four year old son next time him. But those aren’t the only Democrat pedophiles either.

There is even a social media group that calls itself HeartProgress that promotes Democrat, progressive values, along with pedophilia.

Jacob Schwartz, 29, was an up-and-coming young Democrat who worked on New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s staff until he was arrested in May on child pornography charges in which he allegedly kept more than 3,000 images and 89 videos of pornographic acts committed by children.

Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) is currently on trial facing federal corruption charges, which started in 2012 over allegations that he and another man were having sex with underage prostitutes.

The co-owners of backpage.com, a website allegedly directly linked to child prostitution and trafficking, gave lots of money to Democrats recently, including donations to:

David Garcia — a Democratic candidate for governor in Arizona
A political action committee backed by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)
The Arizona State Democratic Executive Committee
The Colorado Democratic Party
The Democratic Party of New Mexico
Two separate donations to Sen. Mark Udall (D-CO)
Two separate donations to Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ)

And of course you have Jerry Sandusky. Though not a politician, he’s still a registered Democrat and is a big supporter of “liberal” causes.

Convicted sex offender and longtime friend of former Democratic President Bill Clinton, Pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, was accused in January in a federal lawsuit of luring a woman into “his elaborate sex trafficking enterprise,” the Daily Mail reported. “The lawsuit alleges that Epstein had a compulsive sexual preference for little girls as young as 13-years-old.”

Last week, Democratic Connecticut Councilman Scott Chamberlain was forced to step down after photographs of him allegedly emerged on a private website for “furries,” a weird subculture of people who dress up in furry costumes for sexual gratification.

Democrats have a pedophilia problem. No Democrats have ever distanced themselves from these sick people or HeartProgress. That tells you all you need to know about who Democrats truly are

MORE MORNING READING FOR JAMES

Another insider Democrat arrested for pedophilia… how deep does #PedoGate actually go?

You won’t read about this in the real fake media outlets like the Washington Post because the mainstream press protects its chosen political ideology, no matter what they do, but yet another insider Democrat who has been arrested for sexually abusing a child.

As reported by the Conservative Post, during the course of the long presidential campaign cycle that finally ended with a Donald Trump victory Nov. 8, whistleblower web site WikiLeaks released thousands of documents that exposed a great many things, ranging from money laundering to tax evasion and even proved that Hillary Clinton helped fund ISIS.

Indeed, one of the odder revelations from the released trove of documents regarding Clinton’s campaign manager, John Podesta, was his alleged involvement in “spirit cooking” and involvement in a global sex ring. Besides Podesta and Clinton, the documents released also implicate President Obama.

Two birds of a feather

They identified a man named Terrence Bean, a fundraiser and a “bundler” for Obama and Clinton (a bundler collects, or “bundles,” vast sums of money for a political candidate and are highly coveted). Bean has traveled at least twice aboard Air Force One with the president.

In 2014, Bean was arrested for raping a child. He and his 25-year-old boyfriend were charged with a pair of felony counts of having sex with a minor (a 15-year-old boy) the previous year. They allegedly took turns molesting the boy while Bean was campaigning with and for Obama.

This would be the second pedophile linked directly with the Clintons and, indirectly, Obama. The first was billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who has flown the Clintons to his private island where it is rumored to be a haven for sex with young and underage boys and girls.

Obviously the implication of these allegations is important: Epstein and Bean, known child abusers, have working relationships, politically and socially, with the Clintons and Obamas.

The Conservative Post noted further that some speculate that the Podesta emails discussing spirit cooking are really just code for child sex trafficking; the emails contain curious mentions of cooking recipes that can be deciphered with kinds of food.

“Julian Assange claimed that the WikiLeaks would send Hillary Clinton to prison,” Mike Cernovich wrote. “The releases initially disappointed people, this reporter included, as the evidence of corruption was slim. Assange was right. The real story was hidden in view.”

(continued)
Though the child sex trafficking and pedophilia connections to the Clintons remain unproven and no charges have been filed, there is at least an established connection to Obama now, as well. There is factual evidence from WikiLeaks that not only demonstrates that Podesta and Clinton were captivated by spirit cooking and Epstein’s sex island, and now there is an established connection between Bean and Obama. And this would also help explain why Obama has remained so loyal to the Clintons, though there has been friction between the two families since Obama beat her out to win the 2008 nomination (and resulting presidential election).

As for Epstein and the Clintons, Fox News reported that Bill Clinton visited the island many more times than was previously known. According to flight logs, the former president took at least 26 trips aboard the “Lolita Express” – the nickname of the Epstein plane – even apparently ditching his Secret Service detail on at least five of the flights.

Clinton’s presence aboard Epstein’s Boeing 727 on 11 occasions. However, flight logs obtained by Fox News show that the number is at least twice that. Also, trips between 2001 and 2003 included trips around the world with Epstein and other passengers identified on manifests by their initials or their first names, such as “Tatiana.” The plane apparently earned its nickname because it reportedly has a bed where passengers have had group sex with young girls.

TIMELINE of corruption surrounding Clintons, Comey, Mueller, FBI, Obama, Uranium One and the Trump dossier

The last couple of days have been whirlwinds for journalists covering breaking news regarding the various scandals involving a number of figures in the former Obama administration and the Democratic Party.

In fact, in just a few short days, so much new information has come out regarding the long-discredited “Trump dossier” and events and actions surrounding the sale of Uranium One to the Russians that we thought you might better understand just what’s going on and why it’s important if we laid it out for you:

— The first report came from The Hill, which noted that the FBI had discovered evidence of a Russian bribery scheme involving key players in the Uranium One deal before the Obama administration approved it.

— The Bureau discovered evidence that “Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States.”

— Moreover, an eyewitness to the corruption and an FBI asset in the case, along with additional documentation, indicated that Russian nuclear officials routed millions of dollars to the U.S. that were aimed at benefiting the charity of former President Bill Clinton and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, at a time when Hillary served on a government entity that approved the sale to a Russian state-owned nuclear firm, Rosatom.

— At the time of this investigation and its findings, around 2010, Robert Mueller was head of the FBI. Mueller is now special counsel investigating alleged “collusion” between President Donald J. Trump’s campaign and the Russian government, even though it’s clear now that there was “collusion” between the Obama administration, the Clintons, and Russia.

— But instead of bringing immediate charges in the case, the Department of Justice under Obama attorney general appointees Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch, continued to ‘investigate’ the case for more than four years, “essentially leaving the American public and Congress in the dark about Russian nuclear corruption on U.S. soil during a period when the Obama administration made two major decisions benefiting Putin’s commercial nuclear ambitions,” The Hill noted.

“The Russians were compromising American contractors in the nuclear industry with kickbacks and extortion threats, all of which raised legitimate national security concerns. And none of that evidence got aired before the Obama administration made those decisions,” a person who worked on the case told The Hill.

— At the time the FBI found out about Uranium One racketeering, bribery and corruption, the Obama regime and the Clinton State Department was engaged in an ultimately unsuccessful “Russia reset,” so disclosure of Moscow’s criminal behavior would have been an embarrassment.

— The investigation was supervised at DoJ by then-U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein, an Obama appointee who is now the deputy attorney general under Trump. Rosenstein appointed Mueller, who was only appointed after another FBI director, James Comey, broke bureau rules to ensure that a special counsel got appointed to investigate…Trump collusion. (Related: Congressional investigations closing in on the MASSIVE Obama-Clinton corruption behind Trump dossier, Uranium One deal)

Six Senate Republicans are still withholding their support for the tax cut package — enough to tank it — and others in the party said they don’t want the difference-maker to be a lack of good messengers from the White House. And so far, the pitches don’t appear to be helping. A recent Quinnipiac University Poll found that 52 percent of voters oppose the GOP tax plans, and only 25 percent support them.

:-) said...

(continued) The next bombshell report involves who paid for the bogus Trump dossier; it turns out that Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee did, after denying it for nearly a year, according to the Washington Post.

— Congress has been attempting to find out who paid opposition research firm Fusion GPS to create the dossier, the latest attempt involving the issuance of a subpoena for Fusion’s banking records by the House Intelligence Committee. Fusion has been fighting the subpoena.

— The dossier has been widely discredited and parts of it even debunked by its author, former British spy Christopher Steele.

— And yet, the dossier was used as justification by Comey’s FBI to convince the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court to grant the bureau a warrant so it could secretly monitor Trump campaign official Carter Page. Later, the FBI expanded its investigation to ‘wiretap’ Trump Tower.

— Comey, you may recall, made the unusual decision to publicly state in July 2016 that he would not recommend Hillary Clinton be prosecuted by the Justice Department (during the heart of the presidential campaign) despite the fact she had broken numerous statutes governing the handling of classified government data. Come to find out he had begun writing is exoneration memo months in advance.

TRUMP TWEETED:
“@FoxNews is MUCH more important in the United States than CNN, but outside of the U.S., CNN International is still a major source of (Fake) news, and they represent our Nation to the WORLD very poorly. The outside world does not see the truth from them!”

SECONDS LATER JAMES COMEY TWEETED:

No doubt Roy Moore agrees.

SO DO THE ACCUSERS.

Commonsense said...

The key characteristic of due process is the presumption of innocence.

The accusers would have to actually prove their accusation.

The Case Against Roy Moore

William Saletan: “The battle within the Republican Party has come down to this: Is it OK for a 32-year-old man to seduce a 14-year-old girl?”

NO
“On one side are the National Republican Senatorial Committee, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, and House Speaker Paul Ryan. They have disowned Roy Moore, the party’s nominee for the U.S. Senate in Alabama, over allegations that he targeted, and in some cases molested, minors and other teen girls.

YES
"On the other side are social conservatives, including Alabama’s state auditor, who argue that courtship between an older man and a teenage girl is consensual, biblical, good for the girl, and grounded in the natural attraction of a godly man to the ‘purity of a young woman.’

NO, BUT IT DOESN'T MATER
"Alongside the purity camp is the tolerance camp, led by Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey. These Republicans don’t deny the allegations or endorse Moore’s conduct, but they support him anyway, reasoning that other issues are more important.”

Boswell is a heretic, a charlatan.

Satan's "men of the cloth" do not peddle a different religion, but a deadly perversion of the true one.

The Hill

I think that the President is going to be an anchor to the Republicans across the country. I will stick my neck out and say that Moore will fade into a bookmark in the history of the United States after his defeat.

The President is the least popular in the history of polling. He's also seen as unequaled to hold the office by almost all Democrats, about 65% of independents and even 20% of Republicans.

-------

Republicans head into the holiday season with a daunting number hanging over their heads - 10.7 percent.

Democrats lead their Republican rivals by 10.7 percent on the generic congressional ballot, according to the most recent RealClearPolitics average of available polling data. That mark is the highest that average has gone since just before the 2010 elections, where Republicans netted 63 House seats.

It's a gloomy sign for Republicans, and one that dovetails with President Trump's sagging approval rating to boost Democratic optimism about taking the House and raises questions about whether Republicans will be able to take advantage of Democratic weakness on the Senate map.

"It's always stupid to make firm predictions in anything, whether it be politics or the Super Bowl. But it seems clear we are heading in a bad direction" said former Republican National Committee spokesman Doug Heye.

----
The woman's voters will overwhelmingly reject his party and lead to a massive change in the political atmosphere

"What we've seen so far this year that the constant is massive Trump unpopularity, a growing unpopularity, and we are starting to see that electorally. Knowing there's never going to be a Donald Trump pivot in any sense, what would tell us that anything in this midterm is different?"

Democrats are pointing to victories in the off-year elections earlier this month as a promising sign for 2018. The Senatorical map looks difficult, but the President is the least qualified and is the most bizarre political presence in history. He's going to change history, but not in the way most here will not like.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court, which has avoided major gun cases for seven years, on Monday declined to hear a challenge backed by the National Rifle Association to Maryland's 2013 state ban on assault weapons enacted after a Connecticut school massacre.

The court turned away an appeal by several Maryland residents, firearms dealers and the state NRA association, who argued that the ban violated their right to keep and bear arms under the U.S. Constitution's Second Amendment.

....The challengers, who had sued Maryland's governor and other officials in 2013, appealed a February ruling by the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia that upheld the state's law. The 4th Circuit, ruling 10-4, said it had no power to extend constitutional protections to "weapons of war."
_____________

So the Supreme Court is refusing to extend constitutional protections to "weapons of war" such as machine guns, flame throwers, bazookas, grenade launchers, surface to air missile launchers, mortars, and rapid-fire semi automatic rifles that can be altered to make them fire even more rapidly.
