You can't change the fact that under Barack Obama the "JV team" grew from a demoralized and defeated offshoot of Al Qaeda to a semi nation-state controlling western Syria and northern Iraq.
And under the first year of Donald Trump they were virtually annihilated. They are now back to a demoralized and defeated terrorist group they were when Barack Obama became president.
It wasn't Obama's "grand strategy" that lead to the defeat of ISIS. It was the policy changes implemented by Donald Trump.
Keeping his hands off is the only thing that works for Trump. Maybe he should take a hint on that, with respect to everything else in the President's job. More time for twitter and cable news shows that way.
