You can't make this shit up...

Robert Mueller’s warning: ‘Many’ news stories on Trump-Russia probe are wrong
Special counsel Robert Mueller’s office is warning that “many” news articles on the Trump-Russia probe have been wrong.
The statement from a spokesperson did not single out particular stories. But the warning did come after media inquiries about a McClatchy News story on Friday that said Mr. Mueller has evidence that President Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, did in fact travel to Prague in 2016 as alleged by the Christopher Steele dossier.
“What I have been telling all reporters is that many stories about our investigation have been inaccurate,” the Mueller spokesperson said. “Be very cautious about any source that claims to have knowledge about our investigation and dig deep into what they claim before reporting on it. If another outlet reports something, don’t run with it unless you have your own sourcing to back it up.”
This mirrors the same statements made by Comey and the FBI when they ran the probe. Apparently, the media got it wrong while the FBI was in charge, and they are apparently still getting it wrong with Special Counsel in charge. Meanwhile...

NY Times and Washington Post share Pulitzer
The staff of The Times was recognized with the national reporting award for changing the nation’s understanding of Russian interference in the 2016 election, investigating whether there was collusion between the President Trump’s campaign and Russia and whether Mr. Trump had tried to obstruct the investigation. The Times shared the award with The Washington Post.
Again, proof positive that our so called news media (and those who celebrate them) is no longer interested in the news. It seems more obvious than ever that writing what certain people "want to read" is vastly more important than getting anything correct. Reminds me of the Nobel Peace Prize President Obama won for basically not being George W Bush.

Michael Cohen’s visiting Prague would be a huge development in the Russia investigation
Three unconfirmed reports in the Steele dossier outline a trip President Trump’s personal lawyer made in 2016, suggesting he took over management of the relationship with Russia after campaign chairman Paul Manafort was fired. Cohen said he never made the trip.

NO COLLUSION HERE....BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! And our trumpists will stick their heads further up donnie's ass and enjoy the stench....."

What specifically did Mueller say was wrong in the "many" news articles? Ah, he didn't say ... but you assume that he's only talking about those that you disagree with. The investigations into Russian interference, that you're told is "fake news."

I'll posit something that is more likely. Everything you read about what the investigation actually has or doesn't have, which direction they're going, what allegation they're currently looking into, all of those reports will be wrong. Because the FBI is not leaking it - it's guesswork, including both the end-is-near doomsayers AND the nothing-see-here cheerleaders.

You'd be hard-pressed to find very many positive stories about the investigation with unnamed sources...

if mueller truly believes that the news stories are wrong then he really needs to have a conversation with adam schiff regarding schiff's leaks to cnn and maggie haberman.

like loretta said, there certainly aren't any stories out there that are positive towards trump.

Rep. Charlie Dent (R-PA) announced this week that he would be resigning from the House of Representatives in May, according to a statement his office released Tuesday morning.

“After discussions with my family and careful reflection, I have decided to leave Congress in the coming weeks,” Dent stated. “Serving the people of the 15th Congressional district has been a tremendous responsibility and the privilege of a lifetime, and I am honored by the trust that so many of my constituents placed in me to represent them in Washington.”

You have lost your mind. I'm not defending the press or the President. You're using completely biased sources that have no credibility to draw conclusions that are incredibly detached from reality.

Fake News is the worst distortion of journalism. Every one is able to draw conclusions but only one of them know the truth. You're conclusions are not the truth.

WHO AM I TO TELL others what ethical leadership is? Anyone claiming to write a book about ethical leadership can come across as presumptuous, even sanctimonious. All the more so if that author happens to be someone who was quite memorably and publicly fired from his last job. I understand the impulse to think that any book written about one’s life experience can be an exercise in vanity, which is why I long resisted the idea of writing a book of my own.

But I changed my mind for an important reason. We are experiencing a dangerous time in our country, with a political environment where basic facts are disputed, fundamental truth is questioned, lying is normalized, and unethical behavior is ignored, excused, or rewarded. This is not just happening in our nation’s capital, and not just in the United States. It is a troubling trend that has touched institutions across America and around the world—boardrooms of major companies, newsrooms, university campuses, the entertainment industry, and professional and Olympic sports. For some of the crooks, liars, and abusers, there has been a reckoning. For others, there remain excuses, justifications, and a stubborn willingness by those around them to look the other way or even enable the bad behavior.

Trump is attempting to use the justice department as a weapon to attract his political opponents. If Barack Obama had done the same thing, you would posting "Can you believe this shit"?

"The IRS admits that its treatment of Plaintiffs during the tax-exempt determination process, including screening their applications based on their names or policy positions, subjecting those applications to heightened scrutiny and inordinate delays, and demanding some Plaintiffs’ information that TIGTA determined was unnecessary to the agency’s determination of their tax-exempt status, was wrong. For such treatment, the IRS expresses its sincere apology."

"A rare peek into a Justice Department leak probe

Six crises that have shaken the Obama administration
View Photos Every president is disrupted by unanticipated crises, knocking the U.S. leader off his pins – and his agenda. Here are a half-dozen in President Obama’s past two years.

By Ann E. Marimow Email the author

May 19, 2013

When the Justice Department began investigating possible leaks of classified information about North Korea in 2009, investigators did more than obtain telephone records of a working journalist suspected of receiving the secret material.

They used security badge access records to track the reporter’s comings and goings from the State Department, according to a newly obtained court affidavit. They traced the timing of his calls with a State Department security adviser suspected of sharing the classified report. They obtained a search warrant for the reporter’s personal e-mails."

Used security badge access records to track the reporter's coming and going in the State Department building? Funny, for a high powered Federal Investigator looking for leaks with real national security implications, but should we feel like that's outrageous? Intrusive?

Reminds me of my very first gig in a corporate office as a contractor, database analyst. 80's I guess. I found myself in charge of the security access because, well it was captured on a database somewhere LOL. I was getting frequent enough requests from management that I built an interface, instant formatted reports on when a person was in the office, when he left etc. Personally I thought it was funny, it's not like it's confidential data.

So the outrage over it, about the high-tech spying or whatever, is kind of amusing.

I don't think that's very plausible. She had far too many problems to blame it all on an 11th hour press statement by Comey.
