Blatant lies.

""The Democrats are now alluding to the the concept that having an Informant placed in an opposing party's campaign is different than having a Spy, as illegal as that may be," he tweeted. "But what about an 'Informant' who is paid a fortune and who 'sets up' way earlier than the Russian Hoax?"

"Can anyone even imagine having Spies placed in a competing campaign, by the people and party in absolute power, for the sole purpose of political advantage and gain?" he wrote in a second tweet. "And to think that the party in question, even with the expenditure of far more money, LOST!"

No evidence supports his lies.

Take the red pill Roger.

That's too kind!

Either that or Rog actually believes that the issue isn't what Halper was doing, but rather the entire issue is the semantics of what you call him.

Obviously Rog is out to lunch if he doesn't accept the fact that our previous intelligence community leadership sent him to gather information on the Trump campaign and report back to them. That is a matter of (at this point) of public record. Nobody is denying what this guy actually did.

I suspect because many liberals don't like the use of the term "spy" that old Rog simply calls it a "lie" because he doesn't think for himself and therefor cannot possibly know better.

Plame was riding a desk but she was a spy. This guy was actually conducting secret covert activity. But he is not a spy.

Got it.

Like I said, most Americans have a superior Bullshit detector and the semitic argument about being an informant rather that a spy is nothing but bullshit.

And yet there's old Roger going down with the ship and taking the blue pill.

i have never in my life seen a better example of the invincible ignorance fallacy than our very own alky...

The invincible ignorance fallacy[1] is a deductive fallacy of circularity where the person in question simply refuses to believe the argument, ignoring any evidence given. It is not so much a fallacious tactic in argument as it is a refusal to argue in the proper sense of the word, the method instead being to either make assertions with no consideration of objections or to simply dismiss objections by calling them excuses, conjecture, etc. or saying that they are proof of nothing; all without actually demonstrating how the objection fit these terms (see ad lapidem fallacy).

care to opine on this alky?

One continues to wonder why, if they wanted to "protect" Trump, they didn't offer him a "defensive briefing," as it's called, to alert him to suspicions about believed bad actors infiltrating his campaign.

They actually decided not to brief a presidential candidate that their were people possibly compromised by Russia at or around his campaign, choosing instead to... spy on him.

Yes, that is some "protection" they were offering.

Back to a subject all righties deny as real....

April 2018 was the planet's third-warmest April since record keeping began in 1880, said NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) on Thursday. NASA also rated April 2018 as the third-warmest April on record. Both agencies found that the only warmer April months were in 2016 and 2017. Occasional differences in rankings between NASA and NOAA are mostly due to how they handle data-sparse regions such as the Arctic, where few surface weather stations exist.

The rankings for April were cooler than we've seen in the last couple of years largely because of the presence of colder weather than average over most of North America, plus the presence of cool ocean temperatures over the Eastern Pacific from a weak La Niña event that ended in April.

Global ocean temperatures during April 2018 were the third warmest on record, and global land temperatures were the ninth warmest on record, according to NOAA. Global satellite-measured temperatures in April 2018 for the lowest 8 km of the atmosphere were the seventh or sixth warmest in the 40-year record, according to the University of Alabama Huntsville (UAH) and RSS, respectively.

Yes, the march or warmth continues unabated even with the cold spring many in the US endured...Oh well back to the faux spy gate you all believe....LOL!!! Trump, the showman keeps repeating the same lie and you all buy it....very sad...

Obviously Rog is out to lunch

And CH continues the swallowing of trump with gusto!!!!! Show us the spy......you and trump can't and this whole thing was engineered to grab weak minded trumpettes to march in lock step....Never let a fact get in your way....Oh the irony!!!! What's the new rudy mantra...there are shades of truth???????

Global temperature continues to cool

Global effects of El Niño event seem to have passed, and we’ve cooled to a value just before the event, according to data from the UK Hadley Climate Centre

Earlier we reported on ocean temperatures dropping, now we have confirmation that global air temperature is dropping as well. The latest data is in, and now according to HadCRUT data, we are back to the same level as before the 2014/2016 super El Niño event heated up the planet.

Clive Best writes:

The HadCRUT4.5 temperature anomaly for September calculated by spherical triangulation is 0.54C, a fall of 0.17C since August. Temperatures have seemingly returned to a long trend after the 2016 El Niño.

Clive Best uses a custom triangulation method to calculate the global temperature anomaly from the raw data, so I thought I’d verify this from the publicly available HadCrut data.

Source of global temperature anomaly data:
https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/hadobs/hadcrut4/data/current/time_series/HadCRUT.4.6.0.0.monthly_ns_avg.txt

HadCRUT4 time series

These ‘best estimate’ series are computed as the medians of regional time series computed for each of the 100 ensemble member realisations. Time series are presented as temperature anomalies (deg C) relative to 1961-1990.

Quoted uncertainties are computed by integrating across the distribution described by the 100 ensemble members, together with additional measurement and sampling error and coverage uncertainty information.
