Trump rights another Obama wrong...

Undoes previous Obama policy on family separation at the border!

Shumer and Pelosi must be soooo happy!!!
President Donald Trump signed an executive order Wednesday that he says will keep migrant families together during detention on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Trump said he will not end the administration's "zero tolerance" policy of criminally prosecuting every adult who crosses U.S. borders illegally, including those seeking asylum. The White House also will keep pressure on Congress to pass legislation that meets Trump's goals of halting the separation practice, funding his proposed border wall and limiting legal immigration.
"We're keeping families together and this will solve that problem. At the same time we are keeping a very powerful border and there continues to be a zero tolerance," Trump told reporters before he signed the order.

No more frog marching the kids, as they did back in 2014!!!

CNN Report shocked.

"Chris Cabrera, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agent and spokesperson for the National Border Patrol Council, said Tuesday agents have seen girls coming across the border as young as 12 years old who are put on birth control “because they know getting violated is part of the journey”.

“When you see a 12-year-old girl with a Plan B pill or her parents put her on birth control because they know getting violated is part of the journey, that’s a terrible way to live,” Cabrera said. “When you see a four-year-old girl traveling alone with just her parents’ phone number written across her shirt. I mean, come on now, you know, something needs to be done.”

Cabrera also told CNN about a 9-year-old boy who died of heat stroke last year “with no family around and that’s because we’re allowing people to take advantage of this system.”

This doesn't have a way to reunite families.

The pictures were released by the propaganda network aka Fox. You were up especially early to get front row seats at the rally today.

American Airlines, Frontier Airlines Delta Airlines and Delta Airlines have announced that they will not send any children into the cages.

You as usual have joined the Trump Party.

The shelters were intended for children under the age of 12, referred to as “tender age” detainees, who are entering the detention system in ever-larger numbers under the Trump administration’s practice of separating children from parents who enter the country illegally.

Many are toddlers and babies and require special care, and their numbers have been rising since last month, when the government enforced a “zero tolerance” policy on people crossing the border. Since then, estimates suggest that more than 2,300 children have been separated from their parents.

But on Wednesday, faced with the intense criticism over the shelters and the separation of families, President Trump retreated, signing an executive order that would detain parents and children together. For now, it seems the separations will stop, but it remains unclear when and how the children in custody will be reunited with their parents.

The executive order came just hours after reports that three centers in southern Texas — in Brownsville, Combes and Raymondville — were being outfitted to accommodate younger children.

A person inside a shelter in Browsville, Tex., took a series of pictures and supplied them to The New York Times. The facility, which houses babies and toddlers, is operated by Southwest Key Programs, the same nonprofit group that operates a shelter at a former Walmart.

One image showed a toddler girl who is about 12 months old, playing on a colorful mat decorated with the letters of the alphabet and drawings of animals. The workers and others standing around the little girl wear blue hospital-style bootees to keep the wooden floor clean.

The girl was separated from her relatives for about a month as part of the family-separation policy, according to the person who took the photo, who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to release an image.

This is actually a smart move. The big hysteria was separating the families. This keeps the open borders in the shit can while removing the optics the left was shouting about.

Make no mistake Rog...

It was your state that originally filed suit to make sure that the kids were not kept in the detention centers with their parents. They put the limit at 20 days (after which the policy was separation - a policy that goes back to well before Trump)

Your state will likely sue again.

Btw... genius. If it wasn't the law, then the President would not have had to actually sign a E.O. and Congress wouldn't be bothering with creating a new law to override the old one.

Hillary Clinton (Obama too): Just Because Your Kid Gets to America Illegally Doesn’t Mean They Get to Stay
As the outrage over President Trump's enforcement of immigration law continues, leaders in the Democrat party are speaking out in full force.

Twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is one of them.

There's just one problem. Back in 2014 when Clinton was gearing up for another presidential run, she argued children of illegal immigrants aren't entitled to stay in the United States.

"Should they [children] be able to stay here? It's safer," CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour asked during an interview.

"It may be safer, but that's not the answer," Clinton said. "We need to provide more border security in southern Mexico. They should be sent back as soon as it can be determined who the responsible adults in their families are."

"All of them who can be should be reunited with their families," she continued. "We have to send a clear message: just because your child gets across the border, doesn't mean your child gets to stay. We don't want to send a message that is contrary to our laws or that will encourage more children to make that dangerous journey." CNN

AUSTIN, Texas — In a letter to President Donald Trump, Texas Speaker of the House Joe Straus (R-San Antonio) asks for the practice of children being separated from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border to come to an end.

Straus calls for the "zero tolerance" policy put in place by U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions to be rescinded immediately.

"There is no federal law requiring the separation of children and parents at the border," Straus writes. "While it is certainly true that there have been family separations under previous Presidents, General Sessions' decision to criminally prosecute all adults trying to enter the United States has cause the number of separations to increase.

Knee slapping funny.

Here's what REALLY happened, Ch:

TRUMP SURRENDERED!

The coverage of President Trump’s sudden reversal on his policy to separate migrant children from their parents at the border is universally brutal except at Chtruth blogspot.

The Fix: “It’s at once an admission that the politics of the issue had gotten out of hand and that the administration’s arguments were COMPLETELY dishonest. Virtually everything it said about the policy is tossed aside with this executive action. It’s the political equivalent of WAVING THE WHITE FLAG and the legal equivalent of CONFESSING to making FALSE STATEMENT. (Nothing new for the Liar-in- Chief, except that he rarely confesses.)

Rather than letting Congress rebuke it, the White House is rebuking itself and trying to save some face.”

Politico: “It was a remarkable shift from a president who is typically reluctant to bow to outside pressure. He often doubles down on his existing stance when confronted with criticism.”

BUT THIS TIME SUCH OUTRAGEOUS LYING WAS COSTING HIM AND THE GOP TOO, TOO MUCH.

Boom: Over 95% of manufacturers bullish on future, ‘record optimism’

In a stunning turnaround sparked by the improving economy and last December’s tax cuts, over 95 percent of manufacturers have turned bullish about their future, an all-time record.

A new survey from the National Association of Manufacturers found that 95.1 percent of manufacturers have a “positive outlook for their companies.”

Screen Shot 2018-06-20 at 9.57.18 AM.png
That is the highest outlook number in the 20-year history of the group’s Outlook Survey.

The report, said the group, comes on the six-month anniversary of passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and amid reports that manufacturers are increasing wages, hiring, and capital investments.

“This record optimism is no accident. It is fueled by the game-changing tax reform passed six months ago,” said NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons.

In a statement he added, “Last year, manufacturers promised that we would deliver for our people and our communities if tax reform became law. Congress and the president delivered, and now manufacturers are keeping our promise: hiring new workers, raising wages, improving benefits, buying equipment and expanding right here in the United States. And the best part is, with manufacturers’ record-setting confidence and plans to keep hiring and growing, more good news is yet to come.”

Highlights pulled from the report:

Optimism among manufacturers registered its highest level ever recorded (95.1 percent) in the 20-year history of the survey.
Optimism among medium-sized manufacturers registered its highest level ever recorded (95.8 percent) in the 20-year history of the survey.
All-time highs for projected employment growth and capital spending.
Projected wage growth registered its fastest pace in 17 years.
Projected sales growth kept pace at its second-highest reading in survey history."

Another one quits

CNN) President Donald Trump's longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen has stepped down from a role with the Republican National Committee, multiple sources confirmed to CNN on Wednesday.

An RNC official said chairwoman Ronna McDaniel accepted Cohen's resignation as deputy finance chairman, marking the latest in a string of high-profile departures from the organization's finance committee. Former casino mogul Steve Wynn resigned as finance committee chairman in January as he faced allegations of sexual misconduct. And another deputy finance chairman, Elliott Broidy, stepped down from his role in April amid reports that he paid off a Playboy playmate with whom he had an affair.

Cohen's resignation was first reported by ABC News. Cohen declined to comment for this story.

Cohen faces a criminal investigation into his business dealings, including a hush money payment he made before the election on Trump's behalf to porn actress Stormy Daniels, although he has not been charged with a crime. Cohen has also been under scrutiny by special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.

Cohen cited those ongoing probes in a resignation email to McDaniel obtained by CNN.

"This important role requires the full time attention and dedication of each member," Cohen wrote. "Given the ongoing Mueller and (Southern District of New York) investigations, that simply is impossible for me to do."

Cohen also criticized the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" policy that has resulted in the separation of children from their families at the US-Mexico border.

2006 bill that Clinton voted for while a senator from New York.

The bill -- the Secure Fence Act of 2006 -- authorized about 700 miles of fencing to be installed along the country’s southern border, along with other security measures. It was the beginning of an attempt to pass comprehensive immigration reform.

The original bill specifically called for double-layer fencing across 700 miles of the border. Clinton, and 25 other Democratic senators, voted in favor of the bill. It passed the Senate 80-19 and was signed into law by President George W. Bush."
