You keep repeating the same inane things from days ago and from other threads.
So tell us again how you're not mentally ill?

Once again....a purely cherry picked video aired originally by faux news trying to prove they are trump chumps....Very sad...how low you go to defend the liar in chief......see those latest generic polls???? Maybe rat can explain how they don't count....Keep saying over and over....trump is my god and does no wrong....LOLOOL

I have a great idea for our esteemed host who needs something to write about....I suggest he explain to all how trumps approval has gone from the mid 40's which he broadcast as great to todays at best mid 30's....He can also try to explain away how the generic has gone from a virtual tied to the current 12+% spread...Sure appears to me he has the mental agility to explain all things trump....why not this?????/ LOLOLOLOL

The original video was over an hour is doesn't change the conclusion you draw from it. Fox didn't deceptively edit it. If anything the most damning parts were left on the cutting room floor.

Google has a lot of explaining to do.

Geez

So Roger

Just so we understand it.

You don't believe an actual video of actual Google management, something that Google themselves acknowledge was actual footage.

But you "do" believe all of the unsubstantiated stories provided to you by Bob Woodhead that have been flat out denied by everyone involved.

What an f-n tool.

Which is totally irrelevent to the fact that the video exist, the video is authentic, and it shows Google executives hostle to a Trump adminstration in particular and conservatives in general.

media reaction to the video is hilarious, and they don't have the first fucking clue as to how to spin it:

Geez

i know, right? even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.

just so we're clear, rog...

you guys started this shit and you've been fighting dirty for as long as i can remember. hopefully the right has found their balls, snapped them back into place, and are willing to bring the fight to the left on the left's terms. it could be that some folks on my side have finally picked up a copy of 'rules for radicals.'

let's hope this is just the beginning of a very long, embarrassing and painful period for progressives. lord knows you've had it coming forever.

This is just more Fake News from the right.

Google released a statement Thursday denying that the video obtained by Breitbart showed any instances of such bias being written in to Google's platform.

"At a regularly scheduled all hands meeting, some Google employees and executives expressed their own personal views in the aftermath of a long and divisive election season," the statement to Breitbart reads.

"Nothing was said at that meeting, or any other meeting, to suggest that any political bias ever influences the way we build or operate our products," a spokesperson added.

"To the contrary, our products are built for everyone, and we design them with extraordinary care to be a trustworthy source of information for everyone, without regard to political viewpoint."

House Majority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) slammed the company on Wednesday before the publication of the video, accusing Google of "controlling the internet" during an interview with Fox News.

"Ninety percent of all searches come through Google. if you don't make that first page on Google, only 5 percent go to the next," he said. "They're controlling the internet in a much different way."

Scott has descended into the swamp.

Freedom of thought is under attack from you and your President.

You're increasingly looking insane.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Breitbart News is not a credible source of information about anything.

This is another attack on the First Amendment. The free press is an enemy of the people according to Scott and his pathological lying President.

This is just another example of the deep state conspiracy theory. Scott, you are about as credible as Alex Jones.

It was the top officials at google

When Google decides to prioritize results to give leftist outlets to[ billing that actually is attacking freedom of thought. Algorithms only do what people tell them to do and it is no coincidence that when you do a search sites like CNN, CNBC, Huffington Post etc display first.

When someone who appears to be completely insane calls you insane I would take that as a compliment CHT.

More and more, coming from the right wing, is an assault upon the Constitution.

It's apparent that Scott and I both know more about the Constitution, history, foreign relations and the alliances between the western countries against Russia.

But for some reason, you have sided with the President and his incomprehensible attachment to dictators. Venezuela and Turkey have been taken over by anti democracy politicians. He expressed his support for the Chinese President who has been granted a lifetime Presidency.

The Republican party from Eisenhower and even into George W. Bush is under assault by the President. Yet you sit there and type out your support for this bullshit.

This is a case of you you're going to believe, Google or your lying eyes.

Bias starts at the top, filters down to the developers. If defies common sense that it wouldn't be in the platform.

and there it is.

rock solid, beyond the shadow of a doubt, take it to the fucking bank evidence that google is completely fair and impartial.

because they said so.

and their statement has received the coveted alky endorsement. case closed.

what's ironic about this rog is that if woodward had written a book and included every word from that video attributed specifically to those who said it, you'd believe every word of it.

toss out an example or two please.

and i'm not talking about trump saying something harsh but accurate about the sissies in the press.

i'm talking legitimate and actual examples.

So what's next?

Do you want to give the government the right to decide which search algorithms are to be used by Google, Yahoo and any other search companies?

You all keep saying that Google has a price to pay. What's next for you to swallow from your President?

which is exactly why i'll use your browser, but rely upon bing or duck duck go for search.

you clowns need to drop the "don't be evil" motto and adopt "let's be partisan hacks" motto.

Has your boycott of Google had an affect on the number of searches per second? What's next because they have a price to pay?

Works kind of like gun sales, right? Except building a base of lefty activists for customers would appear to be fleeting.

Did you read what he actually said?

No, you relied upon Breitbart.

i can only speak for myself, but i'm in the "fuck no" camp on this one.

government fucks up far more than it fixes, and putting this in the hands of government regulators to fix would be a disaster. and while it may be a republican regulatory body that extracts a little revenge today, at some point the balance of power shifts to the left and liberals will then be free to double-down on the bias that's already in their favor.

let the marketplace sort this one out. almost every google offering has an alternative. so use it. if it doesn't exist, create it. if a few hundred google code cutters are making 150k a year, give them 250k and steal the talent.

iow, fight fire with fire. but under no circumstances should the government get involved.

the internet was supposed to collapse and we were all supposed to DIE!!!11! when net neutrality was squelched. obviously that didn't happen.

expose these fuckers, embarrass these fuckers, and perhaps doxx and harrass these fuckers as max-scene would have us do. what's good for the goose...

so there's my answer, alky.

and btw, i'm not alone:

But this is not about political content, and it isn’t even really about political bias: Facebook, Google, et al. operate in an almost uniformly Left-Democratic culture, and they heard a great deal from both organized and semi-organized efforts from progressives and left-wing organizations whose sole purpose in life is trying to discredit conservative figures and exclude conservatives from public discourse. But they are not responding to concerns about “safety,” and they are not ordinarily responding to concerns about possible legal issues. They are responding to peer pressure. What the Left has discovered is that the bosses at Facebook and Google and Twitter can be embarrassed, and that figures such as Alex Jones embarrass them in a way that figures such as Louis Farrakhan do not. This is a crutch, a strategy that is going to play itself out eventually: Pointing the finger Invasion of the Body-Snatchers–style and screaming “Racist!” at Ben Shapiro is ridiculous, and eventually it will be seen as such.

Peer pressure is not a problem that is likely to be effectively solved through the careful ministrations of the U.S. Department of Justice, or by the attentions of state prosecutors. And Republicans here are coming dangerously close to the Democrats’ game: abusing prosecutorial powers to bully their political opponents on issues such as climate change, under the transparent and risible pretense that they are investigating securities fraud or consumer-safety laws.

i don't buy nike crap and i don't use google search not because i can financially impact them. i do it because i'm "pro-choice."

a free market provides me with choices. and i can choose who to deal with.

remember rog, it's the left, specifically bernie sanders, who tells me:

"You don't necessarily need a choice of 23 underarm spray deodorants or of 18 different pairs of sneakers when children are hungry in this country. "

my side needs to stop whining and start building. we have a lot of catching up to do. but as we're doing it we can have some fun along the way by exposing G, F, T for the scumbags they really are.

We all can simply "watch" the video. You don't need to watch the entire hour. Just the first ten minutes or so is enough.

Google can make all the statements that they want about this, but it is perfectly clear that management of Google is simply hostile about Trump and his supporters.

There is no defense here. There is a hostile political environment at Google. To suggest differently? I am not sure there is any justification for it.

Perhaps we can ask James Damore about what happens in Google when you express an opinion that liberal management takes offense to?

and this is the only question you need to ask to distill roger's argument down to pure bullshit.

remember this?:

It turns out that even your private documents can be censored online. This morning, a ton of users reported being locked out of completely innocuous Google Docs for "inappropriate content."

if you're stupid enough to use google for anything more than your browser, you deserve everything they do to you.

And isn't it amazing that CNN has reported on neither this or the switchblade attack on a GOP congressional candidate. Imagine if that was a Democrat.

FAKE NEWS also means what you choose to cover or not cover...

the NY Times had the google tape back in march and suppressed it:

March 30, 2018

SAN FRANCISCO — Two days after Donald J. Trump won the 2016 election, executives at Google consoled their employees in an all-staff meeting broadcast around the world.

“There is a lot of fear within Google,” said Sundar Pichai, the company’s chief executive, according to a video of the meeting viewed by The New York Times. When asked by an employee if there was any silver lining to Mr. Trump’s election, the Google co-founder Sergey Brin said, “Boy, that’s a really tough one right now.” Ruth Porat, the finance chief, said Mr. Trump’s victory felt “like a ton of bricks dropped on my chest.” Then she instructed members of the audience to hug the person next to them.
