I listened to the woman and found myself believing her.
I listened to the man and found myself believing him.
Right up until recently.
The way he bristled at the possibility that more information should be forthcoming from specific individuals -- that was not handled so well by him.
It is all politics.
A thorough investigation such as those done in the past might make it less like "all politics" merely.

Why is Kavanaugh so opposed to another FBI investigation specifically aimed at the new accusations?
And why does he get so upset every time Mark Judge is mentioned?
He should be saying, "Yes, fine! I WELCOME a further FBI investigation into those matters, for I want my name to be cleared."
When he gets all fidgety he seems to have something to hide.
It's not Kavanaugh place to call for an FBI investigations. The Democrats have overplayed the FBI line. Why are they afraid to do their job.
Bigger question,
why are the Republicans on the committee not willing to say, "Good! Fine! An FBI investigation will better clarify credible as opposed to non-credible information. We welcome it!"

Maybe its because he's already been through six FBI investigations. Its just another delay tactic. Like the I don't fly lie.
When I heard the woman speak, I believed the woman.
When I heard the man speak, I believed the man.
When I see how Kavanaugh is reacting to suggestions that there should be more investigating done before a vote is taken, I start believing the woman more, and the man less.

Because if this bullshit can start an FBI investigation, with no credibility or corroboration, then this could go on for years.

Watched Grahams remarks and then went back and watched K's opening statement. If he as a justice is anything like he is as a man he will be an outstanding justice.
After sitting on this for weeks it is sadistic to ask for K to pay the price of Democrats games and put him through more torture of another "investigation" with nothing really to investigate. Actions have consequences and they need to (and I predict will) vote this out of committee tomorrow and he will be a justice next week (Tuesday?). I'm sure the Democrats will go bat shit insane either way. Probably here too.

This may actually turn out to be a significant day, it sure should energize Republicans and Independents. So if Democrats had actually "investigated" or had the FBI "investigate" while they sat on this that investigation would be long done.

I watched the entire event.
Outside of politics it was a credibly event. I believe Doctor Ford.
I started watching Judge Cavanaugh and I was surprised that he was very angry. I understand that, because no matter whether happens, his reputation is very damaged. His wife and daughters have to live with seeing him being damaged forever.
When he lost me when he claimed that this entire accusation is motivated by the fact that Donald Trump was elected President. A claimed that the Democrats raised money to attact him for political purposes and win the November elections.
The anger was what Trump wanted him to use. It makes his base happy, ie CH etc..
I haven't seen the responses on the news coverage because I had other things to do. So this is me, not another person.
Those investigations, highly intelligent Cliphrate, took place before the latest allegations were known.
