You cannot investigate a 36 year old story where there is no exact date, no exact place, no exact time, not even a comprehensive list of people who were supposedly there.
Let her tell her story. Let Kavanaugh deny it. Then have your vote.

Al Franken had numerous allegations, as well as actual pictures documenting his actions. It doesn't matter if the person is considered credible it matters if the allegations are considered credible.
Provide some evidence other than the 36 year old word of a woman who carefully scrubbed her profile, hired an attorney, and then went "public" with her allegations.

the FBI has a hard enough time investigating known people. asking them to investigate the unknown is a bit much, and therefore not to be taken seriously.
How this works is that those people who "make accusations" are responsible for proving them. It's not up to the people who are "accused" to prove their innocence.
The fact that she scrubbed her social media isn't a matter of "right wing websites" - but a bona-fide fact (nothing is ever truly deleted from the internet).
Even before she went public, it was being reported that she hired an attorney. Not something you generally do if you are planning on staying anonymous. Certainly you do not hire "this" particular attorney.
Lastly, are you really questioning the fact that she has now "come forward"?
If the #MeToo movement has taught us anything, it is that we must respect and listen to survivors of sexual assault, regardless of the age of those involved or when the alleged attack took place.

Hiring a lawyer is not evidence of "collusion". Her choice of lawyer does raise questions, but again I tend to believe what she's saying. She did take a polygraph test.
I'm not really looking at this as politics. Women get sexually abused with abandon. I think that is why she came forward despite knowing that she would undergo intensive political and emotional attacks.

The only supposed witness is on his side. 65 women who attended school at the same time have suggested he was as good to women as could be and claim they do not believe the allegations (many of these women would have known Ford as well).
The women, hid her identity. Tried to hide her political leanings as pink pussy had wearing anti-Trump "resister". Apparently never said anything for 30 years (or until Kavanaugh's name was floated for a USSC spot back by Romney in 2012). Hired a known political partisan as her attorney.
She provides no date for the Party, no actual place where the Party took place, no memory of getting to the Party or leaving the Party. No memory of when she met Kavanaugh or how she would have otherwise recognized him. (Kavanaugh denies even knowing her). Lastly, her recollection of events appears to have changed substantially since 2012. Blaming the therapist for being wrong doesn't pass any smell tests.

It was Kennedy's choice to step down with Trump as President and GOP holding the Senate. He is said to be very pleased with his former clerk Brett Kavanaugh being his replacement.
Kavanaugh was nominated over two months ago, and has already been vetted more than almost any other USSC nominee. Multiple times. The FBI has done a background check and even investigated the so called claim against him.
There is zero reason for anyone to wait 49 days.
If this person has proof to her claims, then bring them forward. Until then, it looks like little more than a slime ball attempt to derail a well respected and highly regarded nominee.

President Trump has ordered the declassification of a series of highly sensitive documents related to the Russia investigation, the White House announced Monday.
Under the order, classified portions of a surveillance application for former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page and "all text messages relating to the Russia investigation" from former FBI Director James Comey and several other top federal officials could become public.

Al Franken had numerous allegations, as well as actual pictures documenting his actions. It doesn't matter if the person is considered credible it matters if the allegations are considered credible.
Provide some evidence other than the 36 year old word of a woman who carefully scrubbed her profile, hired an attorney, and then went "public" with her allegations.
Then I would consider it.
But short of some corroboration or something tangible that could be considered "evidence" - I don't see how you ruin someone's career over this sort of allegation.
Remember Roger. Brett Kavanaugh is a person. Not a pawn in a political game. He deserves the same respect as anyone else would in this situation. He deserves the same benefit of the doubt that you would give say someone like President Bill Clinton under similar circumstances.

Hiring a lawyer is not evidence of "collusion". Her choice of lawyer does raise questions, but again I tend to believe what she's saying. She did take a polygraph test.
I'm not really looking at this as politics. Women get sexually abused with abandon. I think that is why she came forward despite knowing that she would undergo intensive political and emotional attacks.

The only supposed witness is on his side. 65 women who attended school at the same time have suggested he was as good to women as could be and claim they do not believe the allegations (many of these women would have known Ford as well).
The women, hid her identity. Tried to hide her political leanings as pink pussy had wearing anti-Trump "resister". Apparently never said anything for 30 years (or until Kavanaugh's name was floated for a USSC spot back by Romney in 2012). Hired a known political partisan as her attorney.
She provides no date for the Party, no actual place where the Party took place, no memory of getting to the Party or leaving the Party. No memory of when she met Kavanaugh or how she would have otherwise recognized him. (Kavanaugh denies even knowing her). Lastly, her recollection of events appears to have changed substantially since 2012. Blaming the therapist for being wrong doesn't pass any smell tests.

Kavanaugh was nominated over two months ago, and has already been vetted more than almost any other USSC nominee. Multiple times. The FBI has done a background check and even investigated the so called claim against him.
There is zero reason for anyone to wait 49 days.

President Trump has ordered the declassification of a series of highly sensitive documents related to the Russia investigation, the White House announced Monday.
Under the order, classified portions of a surveillance application for former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page and "all text messages relating to the Russia investigation" from former FBI Director James Comey and several other top federal officials could become public.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said the decision was made "at the request of a number of committees of Congress, and for reasons of transparency."
The move will please conservatives in Congress who have been clamoring for the documents' release, saying they will back up their argument the Russia investigation has been tainted by political bias.
But it is likely to ratchet up tensions with law-enforcement officials and Democrats who believe such a move is an example of improper interference in an ongoing investigation.
