Those who get excited over Paul Manafort or Michael Cohen today, would probably had not been excited last November if someone had told them that Mueller would be almost ten months into the investigation, there would be no credible allegations against Trump, his son, his son in law, his inner circle, or anyone high up in his administration. Nope, if they were given today's reality, they would have been disappointed. The prospects of a guy who worked on his campaign being convicted of charges that took place before he even knew Trump, as well as a little known Trump lawyer pleading guilty to white collar tax fraud would have not satisfied the expectations when this thing kicked off.
People can attempt to kid us into believing that they are satisfied with Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen going to prison are lying to us and to themselves.
The fact of the matter is that Mueller has really found almost nothing new. He's basically been charging people with crimes that he didn't uncover, and with the exception of the Russian indictments, had nothing to do with the election. It's nearly inconceivable that he will make some major announcement regarding illegal election conspiracies between now and November.
Sorry folks, but Robert Mueller isn't being clever by withholding his big drop till closer to the election. He's still searching for it.
