personally i'm glad this deal turned to shit. between city and state we were prepared to give the richest company in the world run by the richest man in the world (for now) $3 BILLION.
you know who's really pissed today? my buddies in the queens and LI real estate business. a lot of bets were placed on foreknowledge of this deal being announced and lot's of greedy people really fucked themselves speculating.
