So it has now become clear that the entire George Papadopoulos ordeal was very likely orchestrated by the Comey, McCabe and the rest of the Trump haters at the FBI.

Of course, the FBI, in their attempts to downplay the allegations that opposition research prompted their misguided investigation into Donald Trump, had agreed on the company line that it was good old George P and his antics that started their investigation. This has always been a dubious claim, but it becomes even less credible when you start to see evidence that the whole thing was pretty much a set up. We have a logical quandary of sorts. The set up alone is part of the investigation, which predates your assertion that Papadopoulos and his reactions to your set up is what started it.

Perhaps the FBI had a time machine to explain their quandary?

But Maureen Dowd is leading the new charge from the media. The rehashed spin as it were. They are coming back to the 25th amendment talking points memo, by making it look like otherwise unethical, improper, and possibly illegal behavior by the FBI was somehow needed, if not heroic, because of just how bad Trump and his campaign was.

Now this argument "might" have a snowball's chance in hell of surviving logical analysis expect for one little thing that we now know: the FBI never had ANY evidence that Trump and his campaign was conspiring with Russia. So the hard question for Comey, McCabe and gang is pretty simple. If you never had any evidence of conspiracy, then what actually prompted your concern to the point where you were hedging FISA warrants to approve surveillance (aks spying) of Trump campaign members and sending in FBI informants (aka spies) to infiltrate the Trump campaign?

These are the sorts of questions that the country needs answered, and I doubt very seriously that personal attacks on William Barr, or previously debunked media talking points memos are going to help squelch the curiosity.
