In a statement, Lanny Davis, Cohen’s attorney, said that “prosecutors found that virtually all of Michael’s admitted crimes were done at the direction of and for the benefit of Donald Trump,” questioning why his client was the only person to face charges.
“Case closed? Why is Michael Cohen — after all his voluntary cooperation and testimony that [former special counsel Robert] Mueller said was credible and went to 'core issues' and all the information and documents he voluntarily provided to prosecutors and to congress — the only member of the Trump company to be prosecuted and imprisoned?” David asked.
Look, boys and girls, this was always really simple. It was little more than a dishonest attempt by the SDNY prosecutors to railroad the President into a criminal investigation that was never criminal. The idea to "seal" the documents was to imply that they had some sort of indictment on the President. Now this has been blown up by a lack of criminal standing, and an adult Judge who has now ordered everything to be unsealed. Bottom line: there was never any "sealed indictment" of the President as was breathlessly suggested by your silly media legal experts, because the hush money payoffs were not criminal, and were not a campaign violation.

Pauley ordered federal prosecutors to file, by Thursday morning, largely unredacted versions of the search warrants used for raids on Cohen’s apartment, office and hotel room last year.
He said that prosecutors asked for redactions about the campaign finance violations “to protect third-party privacy interests,” but he rejected that request.
“In particular — and in contrast to the private nature of Cohen’s business transactions — the weighty public ramifications of the conduct described in the campaign finance portions warrant disclosure,” Pauley wrote.

That quote is in my post (not omitted) and it was a statement by Michael Cohen's attorney who was ranting about the fact that the case is closed and that nobody is being charged but his client.
Who, btw, was not actually charged and convicted. Part of his plea agreement included him "admitting" that the payments to Daniels was criminal (even though they were not). we can now conclude that this was a sham all along to make it "appear" that they had some sort of sealed indictment of the President.
Well now a Judge has ordered all of the records "unsealed".
So apparently there never was an indictment, huh?
