Update: As expected Pelosi calls Trump a racist, which is against House rules. Democrat Emanuel Cleaver abandons the chair, handing the gavel over to Steny Hoyer, who then proceeds in calling Pelosi out of order for calling Trump a racist. Pelosi is effectively put on a time-out by her own Party because they literally have no choice.
So then comes a motion to strike her words from the record, which is voted down by a Party line vote. Which seems odd, because the words are against House rules, which they sort of follow, while not following, all because they want to officially call Trump a racist even knowing it is against House rules.
Of all the dumb things we have seen over the years in Congress, this one is right up there with that time that all of the members of Congress dressed as clowns and threw rotten eggs at each other! Oh wait, that never actually happened. I guess that makes this the dumbest thing we may have ever seen.

A vote to rap President Donald Trump for his tweets about four Democratic House members was trapped in partisan gridlock Tuesday after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi referred to the "president's racist tweets," a Republican objected to the vote and the presiding House chair stormed off after an hour-long delay.
"These comments from the White House are disgraceful and disgusting and the comments are racist," Pelosi said as she introduced a resolution condemning Trump's incendiary remarks about four Democratic congresswoman.
"Every single member of this institution, Democratic and Republican, should join us in condemning the president's racist tweets. To do anything less would be a shocking rejection of our values and a shameful abdication of our oath of office to protect the American people. I urge a unanimous vote," Pelosi said.
Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., asked Pelosi if she would like to "rephrase her comment." House members are barred from making disparaging remarks about the president on the floor of the House, but the resolution is aimed at criticizing the president for comments directed at four congresswomen of color who he said should "go back" where "they came" from.
