The Ohio gunman described himself on social media as a pro-Satan “leftist” who wanted Joe Biden’s generation to die off, hated President Trump and law enforcement, and hoped to vote for Sen. Elizabeth Warren for president.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, rifle-wielding Connor Betts rampaged through a Dayton entertainment district, killing his sister and eight other people and leaving dozens of others wounded before police killed him.
"I want socialism, and i’ll not wait for the idiots to finally come round to understanding,” he wrote in one tweet, according to Heavy.com.

In short, America is rotting from the inside out, and peaceful means to stop this seem to be nearly impossible. The inconvenient truth is that our leaders, both Democrat AND Republican, have been failing us for decades. Urban sprawl create s inefficient cities which unnecessarily destroys millions of acres of land. We even use god knows how many trees worth of paper towels just wipe water of f our hands. Everything I have seen and heard in my short life has led me to believe that the average A merican isn’t willing to change their lifestyle, even if the changes only cause a slight inconvenience. The government is unwilling to tackle these issues beyond empty promises since they are owned by corporations. Corporations that also like immigration because more people means a bigger market for their products. I just want to say that I love the people of this country, but god damn most of y’all are just too stubborn to change your lifestyle. So the next logical step is to decrease the number of people in America using resources

But some factions within the Republican Party don’t prioritize corporations over our future. So the Democrats are nearly unanimous with their support of immigration while the Republicans are divided over it. At least with Republicans, the process of mass immigration and citizenship can be greatly reduced.

In the near future, America will have to initiate a basic universal income to prevent widespread poverty and civil unrest as people lose their jobs. Joblessness in itself is a source of civil unrest. The less dependents on a government welfare system, the better. The lower the unemployment rate, the better. Achieving ambitions social projects like universal healthcare and UBI would become far more likely to succeed if tens of millions of dependents are removed.

My ideology has not changed for several years. My opinions on automation, immigration, and the rest predate Trump and his campaign for president. I am putting this here because some people will blame the President or certain presidential candidates for the attack. This is not the case. Yeah, nobody's talking about the fact that the Ohio Gunman killed people in the name of socialism, and was a big fan of Liz Warren. Nobody is talking about the fact that the El Paso killer actually predicted that the media would play him out to be a White Supremacist who was motivated by Trump (even though he wasn't).

WASHINGTON (AP) — Yet another Texas Republican congressman is announcing his retirement, two GOP officials said Monday, as the party's mounting departures make it increasingly unlikely it will be able to regain the House majority in next year's elections.
Rep. Kenny Marchant, an eight-term veteran, planned to announce his decision on Monday, the officials said. That would make him the 10th GOP representative to say he won't run for re-election next year and the seventh in the past two weeks.
He's also the fifth Texas GOP congressman to say he is leaving. While Texas has been reliably Republican for decades, the state has been trending toward Democrats lately, especially in its growing suburbs.
Marchant, 68, was reelected by a 3 percentage point margin last year from his suburban district between Dallas and Fort Worth. He'd won by 17 percentage points in 2016 and by 33 percentage points in 2014.
Last November, a pair of Democratic challengers defeated GOP incumbents in the Dallas and Houston suburbs. Republican Sen. Ted Cruz defeated his Democratic challenger, then-Rep. Beto O'Rourke, by just 3 percentage points.
Marchant's plans were described by Republican officials who weren't authorized to publicly disclose the information.

Democrats are going to polarize a huge number of people in Trump's direction by blaming one shooter on him while shrieking that the other's politics are completely irrelevant. Their media no longer has the level of control over information needed to make that work.
Even without the second shooter, Dems would have struggled to memory-hole the inconvenient parts of the first shooter's ideology, and they once again underestimated how repulsed most people are by the totalitarian politicization of hideous crimes.

CHICAGO (CBS) — Dozens of people were shot in Chicago over the weekend, including two mass shootings in less than three hours on Sunday. In all, seven people were killed and 46 others were wounded in shootings since Friday evening.
More than a dozen people were wounded, one of them fatally, in a pair of mass shootings in the Lawndale neighborhood early Sunday.
The first shooting happened around 1:20 a.m. near Roosevelt and Francisco in Douglas Park.
Police said a group of people was standing in the park, when someone opened fire from a black Chevrolet Camaro. Seven people were wounded:
• A 21-year-old man shot in the groin was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition;
• A 25-year-old woman shot in the arm and leg was taken to Mount Sinai, where she was stabilized;
• A 20-year-old man shot in the right side was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was stabilized;
• A 19-year-old woman shot in the right leg was taken to Stroger, where she was stabilized;
• A 22-year-old woman was taken to Mount Sinai, where she was stabilized;
• A 21-year-old man shot in the left leg was taken to Mount Sinai, where he was stabilized;
• A 23-year-old man shot in the chest and hand took himself to Mount Sinai, where he was stabilized.
Less than three hours later, eight people were shot in Lawndale, near 18th and Kildare around 3:45 a.m., when unknown s hooters opened fire on a large group of people at a block party. One man, 33-year-old Demetrius Flowers, was killed, and seven other people were wounded:
• A 35-year-old man shot in the forehead was taken to Mount Sinai, where he was stabilized;
• A 28-year-old man shot in the hip was taken to Mount Sinai, where he was stabilized;
• A 27-year-old man shot in the foot was taken to Mount Sinai, where he was stabilized;
• A 28-year-old man shot in the leg Mount Sinai, where he was treated and released;
• A 14-year-old boy was shot in the thigh, and was taken to Stroger, where he was stabilized;
• A 21-year-old woman suffered a graze wound to the thumb, and was treated and released at St. Margaret Hospital;
• A 19-year-old woman was shot in the head, and was taken to Stroger, where she was treated and released.
Flowers’ father, said it’s the second son he’s lost to violence.
“Please stop. It’s killing our families, it’s destroying the fiber of our communities. We have to stop this senseless killing, because if we don’t, there’s nothing going to be left. There’s nothing going to be left,” Keith Flowers said.
No one was in custody for either of the mass shootings in Lawndale.
Meantime, the most recent fatal shooting happened around 10:15 p.m. Sunday near 69th and Wentworth in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood. Police said the victims were driving south on Wentworth, when someone in a silver sedan pulled up and started shooting.
The driver, a 21-year-old man, then crashed into a light box. He was pronounced dead at the scene, from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. A 20-year-old woman was shot in the left arm, and was stabilized at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

If the U.S. continues to raise a wall of tariffs on Chinese goods in the coming months and China responds, expect a global recession in three quarters, Morgan Stanley said Monday.
"As we view the risk of further escalation as high, the risks to the global outlook are decidedly skewed to the downside," Morgan Stanley chief economist Chetan Ahya said.
The firm believes a global recession will come in about nine months if the trade war further escalates through the U.S. raising tariffs to 25% "on all imports from China for 4-6 months," Ahya said. Trump was echoing a line from the El Paso shooter’s manifesto: “The media is infamous for fake news.”
Racist Trump claims "hate has no place in this country," yet every one of his rallies are hateful, racist; encouraging violence.

Trump will go on TV and give a speech. On paper, the speech may say some of the right things. It will look somewhat presidential. There’s an off chance it might even be good (grading on a curve).
But the problem will be that it was given by Trump, who’s incapable of sincere empathy. So it’ll be hard to believe that he believes the words he said. And his speech won’t address his own hateful, racist rhetoric.
So he’ll be roundly criticized for that. And he’ll also be criticized on policy grounds, because whatever he says on that score will not suffice for many people.
He’ll see and hear all this criticism on TV, and he’ll stew. And stew. He’ll grow angry and resentful that he was forced to give the speech in the first place.
