So the betting odds on the Democratic race continue to move. Liz Warren now has a commanding odds on lead to win the nomination. Quid Pro Joe Biden continues to fade and is now considered a five to one shot to win the nomination. Just behind Biden is Bernie Sanders and now Pete Buttigieg. Ironically, none of the other candidate actually have odds better than Hillary (who isn't even running). Once promising campaigns (like Beto O'Rourke) are no longer even showing up in some of the betting sites.
Polling doesn't quite reflect it at this point, but I think it's becoming fair to say that this is now Warren's race to lose. It was Biden's race to lose, and I think he did just that.... again. Just as most of us predicted he would. Bernie was always destined to be an afterthought, just as he was in 2016, and the others might have well been the Professor and Mary Anne on Gilligan's Island when the original theme called referred to them as "and the rest".
Certainly a long ways to go and a lot can happen, but momentum has changed dramatically and somehow these swings affect everyone differently. Some step up and other flounder and panic. The big question remains whether or not things crumble for Democrats to the degree that someone like Clinton or Michelle Obama or even Michael Bloomberg step in and try to snatch the thing at the last minute.

The Earth just had its warmest September on record, tying a mark set in 2016, according to data released Friday by the Copernicus Climate Change Service, a European group that measures the planet's temperatures.
Globally, September 2019 was roughly 1.02 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than the average from 1981-2010, "making it the warmest September in our data record, although virtually on a par with 2016," the group said in a statement.
"Regions with the most markedly above average temperatures included the central and eastern USA, the Mongolian plateau and parts of the Arctic. Much below average temperatures were only recorded in a few regions, including southwestern Russia and parts of Antarctica," the group said.
