Marie Yovanovitch testimony a dud

How do we know? Because anything that would have been genuinely helpful to either side would have already been leaked.

headlines focuses on her anger and her firing

Well it's very clear that she is angry about being fired. But her being fired is not an impeachable offense whether or not she feels it is for valid or invalid reasons. Like most public servants, she works at the pleasure of the President. If he wants to fire her, then he can fire her. Nothing anyone can do but gnash their teeth.

This is the giant disconnect from people who appear to be believe that they are anchored in their positions at the federal government. The have no right to pursue their own political interests and goals, they only have the right to follow what the President and  his Administration wants. When their actions clash with what the Administration wants, then they should be fired. Doesn't matter if they have been in their department for fifty years and they don't like the reasons for their firings.

The headlines stopped and started at her opening statement, in spite of the fact that it literally held no incriminating information. It only showed that she was angry and was willing to talk about her anger. Other stories concentrated entirely on her idea that Trump is "gutting"the state department of people who are likely like her. Again. That's how it works. When you work in the State Department, you work for the President.

Now it could be that things will come out later, but at this point, neither side appeared to get what their partisans were hoping for.

No, Ch, she is a credit to her profession, unlike the President in Name Only whose butt you constantly kiss.

Questioners on both sides found her "credible" and the fact that she simply did her job with the same professionalism that she has exhibited in previous administrations, both Democratic and Republican, left no room to criticize her, or else we would have heard it.

Any fair minded person can read her testimony and see this. She firmly refused to participate in any activity that would have been questionable. Her only "offense" is that she refused to be a lackey for Trump, insisting that anything Giuliani had to say must be communicated through official channels. In that, she refused to be Trump's lackey, just as, she said, she would have refused to be a lackey for Obama or any administration that asked her to do things unprofessional, dishonest, or corrupt.

But she is not the important one to testify. The real scandals for your side are yet to come.

CH UN TRUTH: That's how it works. When you work in the State Department, you work for the President.

JAMES: Not when it is a President who tries to get you to do things that would violate both his and your oath to uphold the Constitution.

LAST NIGHT
Trump Distances Himself from Giuliani
October 11, 2019 at 11:14 pm EDT

President Trump told reporters that he didn’t know whether Rudy Giuliani was still his personal attorney, the Washington Post reports.

Said Trump: “Well, I don’t know. I haven’t spoken to Rudy. I spoke to him yesterday briefly. He’s a very good attorney, and he has been my attorney.”

In a text message shortly after the president’s comments, Giuliani confirmed that he’s still representing Trump:
“Yes, I am still his attorney.”

THIS MORNING
‘Rudy Giuliani Needs to Stop Talking’
October 12, 2019 at 8:02 am EDT

Politico:
“Yet Trump remains linked to Giuliani, who was initially hired to help fend of Robert Mueller’s Russia investigators, but who now may have pulled the president into another investigation — one that might lead to impeachment. While the president has long appreciated Giuliani’s pugnacious and never-back-down attitude, Trump allies fear Giuliani will damage Trump with his long-winded monologues and free-wheeling accusations.”

“The constant sniping from staff could ultimately force Trump to dump his long-valued fixer, as he has done with former personal lawyer Michael Cohen and countless other ousted officials, like ex-Attorney General Jeff Sessions and former chief strategist Steve Bannon.”

Said one former campaign official: “Rudy Giuliani needs to stop talking.”

Trump’s treachery goes well beyond his service to Moscow. Transcripts, videos, and government records show that he has repeatedly collaborated with tyrants against our country. He has defended North Korea’s Kim Jong-un against U.S. intelligence that shows Kim is lying about his nuclear programs. He has defended Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi crown prince, against American intelligence that exposes the crown prince’s role in the murder of a U.S. resident. He has sided with Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, against American generals and U.S. law enforcement. He has declared that the Chinese government is more honorable than the American Democratic Party.

Er... Rat, I hate to tell you this, but it was your old pal Commensa who referred me to NPR for a comment on farmers and their agricultural situation. I just quoted a portion of it that didn't fit in so well with what he drew from it.

And by the way, I again dare you to call me a pederast and put your legal name and address on it, you miserable cowardly liar.
