Wonder if Paula agrees with this???????

A secondary school teacher in Georgia has been suspended from school for calling the confederate flag a sign that an individual plans to marry their own sister.

The Richmond County School System launched an investigation after a teacher put a photo of the confederate flag on the board with a message saying: “A sticker you put on the back of your pickup truck to announce that you intend to marry your sister. Think of it like a white trash 'Save the Date' card.”

A student at Hephzibah High School was upset by the message so told her mother what had happened.

Melissa Fuller, the pupil's mother, voiced her anger about the matter in a post on Facebook, where it was widely circulated and prompted discussion from other parents and local residents.

“A lot of [the discussion] is that it's not morally correct. It's unethical. It's just something you don't want to discuss today in today's world and especially inside of a classroom,” Ms Fuller told WRDW-TV.

Ms Fuller said her daughter had been given an in-house suspension after wearing a belt featuring a Confederate flag buckle to school. She was also asked to remove the belt.

Ms Muller said: “If she can't wear that belt buckle, then why is it appropriate to make an assignment out of it?”

The teacher has now been place on administrative leave, according to the Augusta Chronicle.

The school district told the outlet: “The Richmond County School System is committed to creating a diverse, equitable learning environment for all students.

I am not a big Frum fan, but he sure comes up with some beauties once in a while.....

As Eric and Donald Trump Jr. slam Joe Biden’s son for serving on the board of a Ukrainian company while his dad was vice president, their international operations capitalizing on White House connections are “warp speed” unethical, declared a former speechwriter for President George W. Bush.

“Rest in peace, irony,” joked MSNBC host Joy Reid Saturday on “AM Joy” after playing clips of the Trump brothers angrily ripping Hunter Biden.

Reid’s guest David Frum quipped: ”When you see poor Eric and poor Don Jr., you realize there are bivalves with more self-awareness than the Trump children.”

They argue — without any evidence — that Joe Biden worked to block a corruption probe into an energy company whose board of directors included his son. Meanwhile, they profit from international operations stretching to as many as 30 nations still owned by their dad, the president.

“Presidential families should behave themselves in more circumspect ways,” said Frum, who is also an author and writer for The Atlantic. “The Trump family is so far and away the most corrupt in American presidential history that you really can’t think of who’s in second place.”

Eric Trump last month slammed Hunter Biden’s role in an international company. A day later he hailed a brand new housing complex development in Scotland for the Trump Organization, which is still owned by his dad.

Michael E Mann, Loser and Liar ...and Scofflaw and Deadbeat?

As longtime readers will know, Michael E Mann, inventor of the global-warming "hockey stick"
, has been suing me for defamation in the clogged septic tank of the District of Columbia courts for seven years. In 2011, the year before he sued me, he sued Dr Tim Ball, also for defamation. A few weeks ago, the British Columbia Supreme Court ruled decisively in Dr Ball's favor, and dismissed Mann's suit with prejudice. That's to say, Ball won - and Mann lost.

Doctor Fraudpants then issued a statement in which, as I noted, he denied that he had lost at all. Mann's statement (curiously presented to the world as "our statement", although it is obviously not the work of lawyers or anyone else but him alone) contained multiple falsehoods, but also a bit of unfinished business:

The dismissal involved the alleged exercise of a discretion on the Court to dismiss a lawsuit for delay. I have an absolute right of appeal. My lawyers will be reviewing the judgment and we will make a decision within 30 days.

The thirty-day deadline has passed. So there will be no appeal, and Mr Justice Giaschi's dismissal of Mann's case stands: Ball has won, Mann has lost. Period.

Second Whistleblower Comes Forward
October 6, 2019 at 8:41 am EDT

Mark Zaid, the attorney representing the whistleblower who sounded the alarm on President Trump’s dealings with Ukraine and triggered an impeachment inquiry, tells ABC News that he is now representing a second whistleblower who has spoken with the inspector general.

Zaid said the second person — also described as an intelligence official — has first-hand knowledge of some of the allegations outlined in the original complaint and has been interviewed by the head of the intelligence community’s internal watchdog office, Michael Atkinson.

ANOTHER SPY AND TRAITOR.

Trump Blamed Rick Perry for Call to Ukraine President
October 5, 2019 at 5:36 pm EDT

“President Trump told House Republicans that he made his now infamous phone call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the urging of Energy Secretary Rick Perry — a call Trump claimed he didn’t even want to make,” Axios reports.

“Trump made these comments during a conference call with House members on Friday.”

Said Trump: “Not a lot of people know this but, I didn’t even want to make the call. The only reason I made the call was because Rick asked me to.”

“Another source on the call said Trump added that ‘more of this will be coming out in the next few days’ — referring to Perry.”

AXIOS Scoop: Trump pins Ukraine call on Energy Secretary Rick Perry

President Trump told House Republicans that he made his now infamous phone call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the urging of Energy Secretary Rick Perry — a call Trump claimed he didn’t even want to make.

Behind the scenes: Trump made these comments during a conference call with House members on Friday, according to 3 sources on the call.

Per the sources, Trump rattled off the same things he has been saying publicly — that his call with Zelensky was "perfect"and he did nothing wrong.

But he then threw Perry into the mix and said something to the effect of: "Not a lot of people know this but, I didn't even want to make the call. The only reason I made the call was because Rick asked me to. Something about an LNG [liquefied natural gas] plant," one source said, recalling the president's comments. 2 other sources confirmed the first source's recollection.

Why it matters: The president's remarks suggest he may be seeking to distance himself from responsibility or recast the pretext for the call. White House officials did not respond to requests for comment.

Another source on the call said Trump added that "more of this will be coming out in the next few days" — referring to Perry.

Worth noting: Text messages released this week between Trump administration officials and Andrey Yermak, a top aide to Zelensky, suggest that Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, was a primary advocate for arranging the call.

There is no mention in the text messages of Perry playing a role in making this call happen.

Zelensky talks about buying American oil and wanting to
work with the U.S. on energy independence, but Perry and LNG are not discussed in the 5-page memo of the Trump-Zelensky call released by the White House.

Between the lines: Perry, who is reportedly resigning by the end of this year, has become increasingly embroiled in congressional Democrats' impeachment inquiry.

In May, Perry led a U.S. delegation to Ukraine for Zelensky’s inauguration in place of Vice President Mike Pence, and Democrats have begun to press Perry for more information about the trip and his conversations with Ukrainian leaders.

The House subpoena of Rudy Giuliani also seeks documents related to Perry's "involvement with Ukrainian leaders last spring."

However, Perry told the Christian Broadcasting Network on Friday that, "as God is my witness," neither Joe or Hunter Biden's name ever came up.

And as The Washington Post recently reported, "no evidence has emerged that Perry participated in the effort to pressure Ukrainian officials to investigate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter."

Perry's spokeswoman, Shaylyn Hynes, told Axios: “Secretary Perry absolutely supported and encouraged the president to speak to the new president of Ukraine to discuss matters related to their energy security and economic development.
...He continues to believe that there is significant need for improved regional energy security—which is exactly why he is heading to Lithuania tonight to meet with nearly 2 dozen European energy leaders (including Ukraine) on these issues,” Hynes added.

The White House acknowledged the conference call in a Friday readout that said participants included Minority Leader McCarthy, Whip Steve Scalise, Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney, and GOP leaders on key House committees — and that they discussed Friday's jobs report, the economy and concerns about Democrats' impeachment inquiry.

The readout makes no mention of Rick Perry.

Jeff Zucker of CNN, Dean Baquet of the New York Times, and Martin Baron of the Washington Post are all killed in a tragic accident at a gathering of leading news executives.

They find themselves standing together before shining heavenly gates and a pleasant young man at a desk greets them. “Hello, I am the senior assistant to the admissions committee, and I am here to guide you through the process. Here is your life record which will be the basis upon which you will be evaluated. Please look it over carefully.” He hands each of them an enormous bound stack of hundreds of pages.

Baron reacts angrily: “The first pages are nothing but false horrible accusations!”

Baquet and Zucker also complain that their records also open with terrible falsehoods.

The young man smiles and says, “No problem.” He takes a fresh stack of paper and an ornate feathered quill pen and writes “Retraction” in large letters on the top of each page, copies and edits each offensive item to a retraction page and then carefully adds the pages to the bottom of each man’s record and rebinds each record with an enormous heavenly stapler.

“You can go in and present your life résumés to the committee now.”

Dean Baquet objects. “But the false horrible stuff is still on the top pages. No one is going to read down to the bottom where you put the retractions.”

“Exactly,” said the assistant. “Best of luck in there.”

As a drummer back in the day, I grew up a fan of Ginger Baker, John Bonham, Steward Copeland, and (yes) Ringo Starr. Those were my influences. What I called the "feel" drummers. They simply hit the drums when normal drummers wouldn't and it always sounded and felt right. You were not so much able to "practice" what they did, but rather you had to learn how to just feel it.

When we played bigger venues with other bands you would only get one set. We always opened with "White Room" (followed by Heart full of soul). As a drummer I loved playing Cream.

Breaking News from the Fake News Drudge Report Headlines.

WASHINGTON — The legal team for the whistle-blower alarmed by President Trump’s dealings with Ukraine is now representing a second whistle-blower, an intelligence official with firsthand knowledge of the president’s interactions, the ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos reported Sunday.

The new whistle-blower has already been interviewed by the intelligence community’s inspector general’s office, but has not yet communicated with any congressional committees, Mr. Stephanapoulos said on his show, “This Week.” The new whistle-blower has the full legal protection for those who raise alarms about wrongdoing in the executive branch, he said.

A member of the legal team confirmed on Twitter that the firm was now representing a second whistle-blower.

The New York Times reported on Friday that an intelligence official with more direct knowledge of Mr. Trump’s dealing with Ukraine than the first whistle-blower, and who had grown alarmed by the president’s behavior, was weighing whether to come forward. The second official was among those interviewed by the intelligence community inspector general to corroborate the allegations of the original whistle-blower, one of the people briefed on the matter said.

The new whistle-blower matches the description of the official that The Times reported on last week. But Mr. Stephanapoulos said that Mark Zaid, one of the lawyers representing the whistle-blower, did not know whether the individual was the same person.

The first whistle-blower, a C.I.A. officer who was detailed to the White House, filed a complaint last month outlining how Mr. Trump used his power to push Ukraine to investigate his domestic political rivals, setting off an impeachment inquiry. Mr. Trump has tried to undermine the credibility of the first whistle-blower, whose identity is not publicly known, by saying that the individual was trading on secondhand information.

“The first so-called second hand information ‘Whistleblower’ got my phone conversation almost completely wrong, so now word is they are going to the bench and another ‘Whistleblower’ is coming in from the Deep State, also with second hand info,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter on Saturday night, referring to his now-infamous July 25 phone call with President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine. “Keep them coming!”

Mr. Zaid works for Compass Rose Legal Group, a law firm that specializes in representing whistle-blowers. He is part of the legal team that is now representing both individuals who have come forward. The team also includes Andrew P. Bakaj, the lead lawyer, and Charles McCullough III.

“I can confirm that my firm and my team represent multiple whistleblowers in connection to the underlying August 12, 2019, disclosure to the Intelligence Community Inspector General,” Mr. Bakaj said on Twitter. “No further comment at this time.”

Mr. Zaid did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

One of the attacks Trump and his allies have used to try to undermine the credibility of the first whistleblower is that he relied on secondhand information from other White House officials. There is no requirement in the whistleblower statute for firsthand information, but an official with direct knowledge of the allegations could provide even more explosive evidence in the impeachment investigation.

While Congress may decide what is an impeachable offense is, the public won't accept anything less than an actual provable case of violation of the law and neither will the senate. And even then you may not get a conviction and removal. See Clinton, Bill.

GOP Sen. Ron Johnson Loses It on ‘Meet the Press’: I Do Not Trust the FBI or CIA
The Daily Beast Justin Baragona,The Daily Beast 1 hour 0 minutes ago

In an extremely contentious and heated interview with Meet the Press anchor Chuck Todd on Sunday, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) declared that he does not trust the CIA or FBI while launching into a series of conspiratorial attacks on Democrats and intelligence officials regarding the Ukraine scandal.

Johnson—who last week said he was told about a quid pro quo involving Ukrainian investigation into the 2016 election and that President Trump blocked him from telling Ukraine military aid was coming—immediately began his interview on the defensive, complaining that Todd was biased and the president was being sabotaged.

The Republican senator then proceeded to accuse former members of the FBI and CIA of conspiring to set up the president after his election, claiming this has “everything to do with Ukraine.”

“Why a Fox News conspiracy propaganda stuff is popping up on here, I have no idea,” an exasperated Todd noted at one point.

“It is not, that is exactly, because this is going over the line, exactly why President Trump is upset and why his supporters are upset with the news media,” Johnson shouted, to which Todd replied: “Can we please answer the question that I asked you instead of trying to make Donald Trump feel better here that you are not criticizing him?”

Across the country, most GOP lawmakers have responded to questions about Trump’s conduct with varying degrees of silence, shrugged shoulders or pained defenses. For now, their collective strategy is simply to survive and not make any sudden moves.
This account of the anxiety gripping the Republican Party is based on
interviews with 21 lawmakers, aides and advisers, many of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak candidly.
Trump has been defiant in his defense, insisting his conduct with foreign leaders has been “perfect” and claiming a broad conspiracy by the Democratic Party, the intelligence community and the national media to remove him from office. Yet few Republican lawmakers have been willing to fully parrot White House talking points because they believe they lack credibility or fret they could be contradicted by new discoveries.

“Everyone is getting a little shaky at this point,” said Brendan Buck, who was counselor to former House speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.). “Members have gotten out on a limb with this president many times only to have it be cut off by the president. They know he’s erratic, and this is a completely unsteady and developing situation.”
White House appears to be in bunker mentality as impeachment inquiry looms

Washington Post White House Bureau Chief Philip Rucker analyzes the mood in the White House as support for an impeachment inquiry grows. (Zach Purser Brown/The Washington Post)
to offer a more forceful defense than their Senate compatriots.
But House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s shaky appearance last weekend on CBS’s “60 Minutes” was widely panned, even n Miller, who are willing to sit for a grilling and disparage the media, according to two Republicans close to the president.
Trump’s calls with foreign leaders have long worried aides, leaving some ‘genuinely horrified’

Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), an informal Trump adviser, insisted the president had done “nothing wrong” and denounced those who act “as if he’s guilty until he’s proven innocent.”
“For Republicans to get weak, well, they have a very short memory,” Meadows said, noting that his colleagues facing competitive primary races will need Trump’s support.
Former Republican senator Jeff Flake, a Trump antagonist, said his former colleagues believe the foreign leader interactions under investigation in the House represent “new territory” compared with past challenges, including the Russia investigation.
“There is a concern that he’ll get through it and he’ll exact revenge on those who didn’t stand with him,” Flake said.

One example can be found in the confrontation between Indiana congressman Jim Banks and NPR’s Michel Martin this past Wednesday. Martin was fulfilling NPR’s unwritten charter of putting the wildest fringe leftist thinking into comfortable terms to make them acceptable to the denizens of the suburbs. Banks, a freshman representative who saw service in Afghanistan, wasn’t having any.

Martin was attempting to put across the accepted narrative about the Trump/Zelensky call – that Trump asked the Ukrainian president for dirt on Biden as a “favor,” that he immediately turned the conversation to Hunter Biden, that there was a “quid pro quo,” and so on, all backed up by her claim that she had the transcript “in front of her.”

Banks immediately cut to the chase on that, shutting down Martin with a single line: “…read the part of the transcript that would indict the president on high crimes and misdemeanors.”

Of course, Martin could do no such thing, and despite some further word games, that was the end of it, leaving myriads of NPR listeners clutching their worry beads in shock and alarm.

Nice Lawfare trick huh?

The failure to comply with a non-official subpoena (essentially a letter); for documents relating to a fake “official impeachment inquiry” (Pelosi decree); that the House specifically never intends to enforce in any court (because they would fail); results in the House committee finding of “obstruction.” An enhancement for their impeachment articles.

Gee, where did the House Committees’ come up that that idea?

anyone noticing a consistent pattern yet?

In 2018 we noted the significant House rule changes constructed by Nancy Pelosi for the 116th congress seemed specifically geared toward impeachment. {Go Deep} That impeachment plan was made at the same time as the “Lawfare Obstruction Roadmap” was drawn up.

With the framework of the current effort, those changed rules are now being used to subvert historic processes and construct the articles of impeachment. Without a vote to initiate an impeachment inquiry, the articles of impeachment can now be drawn up in committee without any participation by the minority; and without any input from the executive branch. This was always the plan visible in Pelosi’s House rules.

These letters from congress, they are calling ‘subpoenas’, are specifically designed to avoid the courts because of the unilateral nature of the investigations which underpin their content. Quite a scheme:

The House Committee impeachment investigations are structured around unilateral rule changes made by Pelosi’s scheme team in 2018 designed to block republicans.
In 2019 Speaker Pelosi then launches a unilateral “official impeachment inquiry” by decree. Again designed to block republicans.
Then Pelosi combines the unilateral rule changes with unilateral committee assignments, and designs an obstruction path within a unilateral investigation, again completely carving out republicans.
There will likely be more articles other than just “obstruction of justice” (Muh Russia) and “corruption of office” (Muh Ukraine), but those two are easily visible. Emoluments may also play a role.

Once the committees’ have assembled their evidence, assuming the public becomes aware of the partisan construct, Pelosi will likely initiate the full House vote to proceed with the assembly of articles of impeachment. However, the committees’ will have already done the investigative work without republican involvement, so the full House vote will essentially be a moot point.

You are detained and questioned extensively. You answer all the questions. At the conclusion of your inquisition you are read your rights. Your attorney shows up; questioning stops. A week later you are indicted and the material evidence against you is your statements. This is what Pelosi/Lawfare are constructing. It doesn’t matter that the trial judge will throw it out, what mattered was the indictment.

This is why there is such a massive narrative push by Pelosi, committee leaders and their media allies right now… they need to assemble evidence while republicans remain locked out of the process and committee staff (hired Lawfare) construct the articles. The goal is impeachment. They achieve that goal via a majority House vote on any individual article.

The ‘Resistance‘ and ‘Deep State‘ facilitators (writ large) are all-in on this impeachment effort. Additionally, impeachment as an offense is their best defense to anything being investigated by U.S. Attorney John Durham, Attorney General Bill Barr and DOJ-IG Michael Horowitz.

Yes, this entire group is also racing the clock. They need the Trump indictment, aka ‘impeachment‘, to construct a retaliation narrative that protects them -all of them- from any downstream consequences of Barr, Durham or, to a lesser extent, Horowitz.

The NSC staff, which numbered around 100 during the Clinton and Bush administrations, swelled to 400 full-time members under President Obama.

In 2016, Republicans in both houses of Congress introduced bills that would have slashed the NSC staff to no more than 150, legislation the Obama administration opposed.

Trump’s order will be carried out mainly by attrition as staffers rotate back to their original positions at the State Department and other federal agencies, and not by layoffs or firings.

{Go Deep} That impeachment plan was made at the same time as the “Lawfare Obstruction Roadmap” was drawn up

Yon know when the left accuses Trump of destroying the Constitution it is actually the democrats who are doing it. EVERYTHING is projection. Sickening but Trump is exposing them for who they are.

IG report now rumored to be less than 2 weeks away... expect all-out last ditch assault by the most CROOKED party of ALL-TIME going all the way up to Obama. They stop at nothing, and have everything to lose. Remember the previous white house was running this.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—After Hillary Clinton once again suggested that Donald Trump was an illegitimate president, one unfortunate staffer was forced to be the one to gently inform her that she lost the election.

"Hey, Hill, we need to talk," the aide said, her voice shaky and uncertain. "We've got to discuss something of some importance. We're all a little worried about you, and we just need to make sure you realize something about the election from a few years ago."

"We don't have time. We need to keep campaigning in swing states like New York and California," Clinton declared, checking her watch. "We'll beat that Trump yet!"

"Yeah, about that, sweetheart," the aide continued. She sighed heavily. "Why don't you take a seat?" The staffer then pulled out a folder listing the electoral results from 2016 and slowly walked Clinton through it. "So you see, you're not actually the president of the United States. I'm so sorry. Do you need a tissue?"

Clinton stared off into space, the words not registering. "Thank you. That will be all," she said at last.

"Do you need any---"

"I SAID THAT WILL BE ALL," Clinton shouted, staring ice daggers into the poor aide's soul.

The staffer has committed suicide by running herself over with an SUV and then backing over herself several times.

Public support for President Trump's impeachment is higher than it was for Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton when the House launched impeachment inquiries against them.

Why it matters: Support for impeachment of Trump is still less than half the country — 44% in the Monmouth University poll shown here; 47% in a CNN poll. And the polling reflects a 50-50 country. But the Ukraine scandal is pushing the numbers up.

Per CNN: "The change since May has largely come among independents and Republicans. ... [S]upport for impeachment and removal has risen 11 points to 46% among independents and 8 points to 14% among Republicans."
Keep in mind: A majority of the public didn't support impeaching Nixon until a few weeks before he resigned.

But as the WashPost's Philip Bump pointed out, "Trump doesn’t look like Nixon"— Trump's approval rating is still in the low 40% range, while Nixon fell to 25% at the height of Watergate.

A federal judge has ordered the White House to preserve a wide range of evidence about President Donald Trump’s dealings with foreign leaders, including his interactions related to Ukraine that have fueled an impeachment investigation in the House.

U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson issued the order Thursday, directing that White House officials not destroy records of “meetings, phone calls, and other communications with foreign leaders.”

This might end up in the Supreme Court and the President and the Republicans are hoping for them to protect the President from being impeached.

If they follow precedence they will uphold this decision.

I haven't seen any of the White House staff on the Sunday morning talk shows. Even on Faux News! They were waiting for the President to release his talking points!

WASHINGTON (AP) — A second whistleblower has spoken to the intelligence community's internal watchdog and has information that backs the original whistleblower's complaint about President Donald Trump's dealings with Ukraine, according to the lawyer for the two.

Attorney Mark Zaid told The Associated Press in a text message Sunday that the second whistleblower, who also works in intelligence, hasn't filed a complaint with the inspector general but does have "firsthand knowledge that supported" the original whistleblower.

The original whistleblower, a CIA officer, filed a formal complaint with the inspector general on Aug. 12 that triggered the impeachment inquiry being led by House Democrats. The complaint alleged Trump was "using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country" in the 2020 election.

The disclosure of a second whistleblower threatens to undermine arguments made by Trump and his allies against the first whistleblower: that the complaint was improperly filed because it was based on secondhand or thirdhand information.

Even the usually calm and balanced reporter Chuck Todd couldn't take any more bullshit from a Trumpist deep state conspiracy theory asshole.

NBC News’ “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd’s interview with Senate Foreign Relations member Sen. Ron Johnson went off the rails on Sunday when the news host tried to get the Republican’s response to President Donald Trump’s Ukraine scandal.

It began when Todd pressed Johnson on his interview with the Wall Street Journal on Friday, during which the Republican senator said he “winced” at U.S. Ambassador to the E.U Gordon Sondland’s suggestion that President Donald Trump would withhold military aid to Ukraine until he was sure the Ukrainian president would investigate Trump’s conspiracy theories about the Clinton campaign.

But when Todd confronted him over that remark, Johnson kept trying to pivot to Republican talking points about the CIA and former FBI agents Peter Strzok and Andrew McCabe allegedly plotting against the 2016 Trump campaign.

“I have no idea why a Fox News conspiracy–propaganda stuff is popping up on here,” Todd retorted.

Johnson barreled on, blaming the media for making the President and his supporters “upset” for covering the Ukraine scandal.

“Senator Johnson–senator Johnson, please!” a frustrated Todd shouted. “Can we please answer the question I asked you instead of trying to make Donald Trump feel better here that you are not criticizing him?!”

The interview ended on a similarly sour note when the Wisconsin Republican kept doubling down on the unfounded “deep state” conspiracy theories pushed by Trump and his allies.

“I want to look at the entire truth, Chuck,” Johnson said. “The media doesn’t.”

“And the truth is only when it benefits what you believe is politically comfortable with you?” the NBC News host asked. “I don’t understand: What truth are you looking for?”

After more heated back-and-forth about wanting “the complete truth,” Todd called it quits.

“I’m sorry that you chose to come on this way, senator,” he said as the show’s crew cut off Johnson’s mic mid-response.

It's like trying to have a rational conversation with the formerly esteemed host.

Trump allies respond to second whistleblower: 'Why should I care?'

Republicans also said Trump was not serious when he suggested that China look into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

President Donald Trump's allies on Sunday offered up a collective shrug in response to news of a second whistleblower coming forward about his July phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

"It does not matter," Rep. Chris Stewart, R-Utah, told "Fox News Sunday."

"This person is going to come forward and say, yep the president had this phone call," Stewart, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, said. "And yep, that's the transcript. Why should I care at all what his opinion and judgment of this transcript is? You and I can read it."

The defense echoed what the president's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani offered on Twitter around the same time. The former New York City mayor has himself become embroiled in the scandal over his months-long effort to have Ukrainian officials investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and son Hunter.

Rudy Giuliani

@RudyGiuliani
SURPRISE Democrat lawyer has other secret sources. Swamp Media will corruptly fail to point out it means nothing, now that conversation is public. No money, no quid pro quo unlike Biden helping son make millions from Ukrainian crook. ORCHESTRATED DEM CAMPAIGN LIKE KAVANAUGH

And on CBS's "Face the Nation," Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., said, "we all are sort of first-hand sources now that we've all seen the transcript."

Blunt, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said that, "it's a different situation when the president actually says ... 'that's what I said and here's why I said it," adding that Trump "thinks he was on solid ground."

The July phone call, during which Trump asked Zelenskiy to "look into" the Bidens, and the administrations' subsequent response were the subject of a whistleblower complaint filed in August with the intelligence community's inspector general. Attorneys representing the whistleblower said on Sunday that they had taken on a second whistleblower who had firsthand knowledge of the issue. House Democrats last month launched a formal impeachment inquiry amid reports of the first whistleblower complaint.

Trump has said the call was "absolutely perfect" and "totally appropriate."

Honest, decent, truthful Rev. said...

Trump lashed out at the second whistleblower on Saturday.

"The first so-called second hand information 'Whistleblower' got my phone conversation almost completely wrong, so now word is they are going to the bench and another 'Whistleblower' is coming in from the Deep State, also with second hand info," Trump tweeted. "Meet with Shifty. Keep them coming!"

Meanwhile, text messages given to Congress Thursday and released by House Democrats suggest the call was part of a broader effort from Trump and his administration to pressure Ukraine. Those messages show U.S. ambassadors working to persuade Ukraine to publicly commit to investigating Trump’s political opponents and explicitly linking the inquiry to whether Ukraine’s president would be granted an official White House visit.

“You've got a president that is acting like a global gangster" who is "trying to get dirt on his political opponent," Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn. and a 2020 presidential candidate, told CNN's "State of the Union. "I consider that a violation of our laws."

Speaking with NBC's "Meet the Press," Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., said Republicans were going to "wild lengths" to avoid criticism from Trump.

"They shouldn’t be fearful of this president," he said. "If they vote to get rid of him, there’s nothing he can do to hurt them."

The president and his top allies have zeroed in on Biden's 2016 call, backed by much of the international community, to remove then-Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who had been widely accused of not doing enough to crack down on corruption. Shokin had been investigating Burisma, the scandal-plagued energy company affiliated with Biden's son Hunter. But earlier this year, Bloomberg News, citing documents and an interview with a former Ukrainian official, reported that investigation had been dormant for more than a year by the time Shokin was fired. In addition, former Ukrainian prosecutor general Yuriy Lutsenko has told news outlets he found no evidence of wrongdoing by Biden and his son.

The president last week began ramping up his push to include Hunter Biden's Chinese dealings— even publicly calling for China to investigate the Bidens.

"China should start an investigation into the Bidens because what happened in China is just about as bad as what happened with Ukraine," Trump told reporters outside the White House.

The president has repeatedly accused the former vice president's son of using a 2013 trip on Air Force Two with his father to procure $1.5 billion from China for a private equity fund he had started. There has been no evidence of corruption on behalf of either Biden. The Washington Post found Trump's claims false. And a spokesman for Hunter Biden said he did not acquire an equity interest in the fund until 2017, after his father had left office. His total capitalization from the fund at the time amounted to about $4.2 million, not the $1.5 billion Trump alleged.

When pressed Sunday about whether they supported the president calling on China to probe the Bidens, Trump allies suggested the president was just kidding around.

"George, you really think he was serious about thinking that China’s going to investigate the Biden family?" Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, told ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week."

Jordan said he didn't think "anyone in America really believes" Trump thinks China will probe the Bidens.

"I don’t think it’s really like, oh, China, go investigate the Bidens," he said.

On "Face the Nation," Blunt said, "I doubt if the China comment was serious, to tell you the truth," suggesting as Jordan did that the president was just trying to "bait the press."

SO HE WAS JUST JOKING AROUND ABOUT CHINA?

WAS HE JUST JOKING WHEN HE SPOKE TO ZELENSKIY?

HE MUST HAVE BEEN JUST JOKING TOO WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD "DRAIN THE SWAMP."

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

The Republicans are getting desperate!

Jim Jordan suggests Trump was joking about China investigating Bidens
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said on ABC's “This Week” on Sunday that he doesn't think President Trump was serious when he said last week that China should launch an investigation into Joe Biden and his son, suggesting that it was an attempt to get the press "all spun up."

We spent over three years investigating a real conspiracy theory that the media pushed (that Trump conspired with Russian) and now that they lost on that, the Media (and Democrats) want nothing to do with the idea that the their golden children will end up being proven to have conspired with Ukraine.

But hey, once the IG report comes out and Durham and Barr have their ducks in a row, we will know once and for all if there was any U.S. Ukraine coordination to harm Trump in his 2016 election.

If there isn't... then those of us on the right will accept it.

If there this... I promise you that the very people who have told us that the Intelligence community could never do any wrong... will turn around and likely tell us that our Intelligence community "TODAY" cannot be trusted.

People like Chuck Todd want to continue to have free reign to lie without objection. Even if you read the transcripts of the call between Trump and Zelensky, the bulk of what the President is dealing with is trying to work with Ukraine to get to the bottom of the allegations (and evidence) that the former Ukrainian government worked with our Government to harm Trump's 2016 campaign (and help Hillary).

Chuck Todd and the rest of the partisan liars want you to believe that Trump isn't looking into that (which would be by all accounts a valid question to be asking) but whenever they hear Trump say 2016, they want people to think it's about investigating Biden.

But there actually "IS" an investigation into Ukrainian election interference. There is no such investigation into Biden or the Burisma holdings.

But every time there is any reference to that ongoing investigation, the Democrats and their lapdog media people (Like the liar Chuck Todd) will try to make you "think" that it's about Trump wanting to investigate Biden.

Truth is that the Biden thing is a side show. We are not engaged in it. Even if we were, it would not be illegal. Certainly it's not illegal to simply talk or ask about it.

From RCP.

During a heated interview on Sunday's "Meet The Press," Republican Senator Ron Johnson accused former members of the FBI and CIA of conspiring to frame President Trump. Host Chuck Todd fired back by calling Johnson's accusations "Fox News conspiracy propaganda stuff."

Johnson began the segment by stating: "I have never seen in my lifetime a president, after being elected, have some measure of well-wishes from his opponents. I've never seen a presidential administration be sabotage from the day after the election, I've never seen [a president getting] no measure of honeymoon whatsoever. What President Trump has had to endure --a false accusation. By the way, when you have John Brennan on, you ought to ask him: what did Peter Stzrok mean when he texted Lisa Page--"

"What does this have to do with Ukraine?" host Chuck Todd interrupted. "What does this have to do with Ukraine?"

"It has everything to do with Ukraine," Johnson replied. "Six days before that is when we first heard the CIA leaking about Russia supporting the Trump campaign. That is why Trump is so upset. He had this false narrative that resulted in him being set up by James Comey... and now that that has been proven false, he would like to know and I would like to know, where did this all come from? Who planted this false story?"

At that, Chuck Todd audibly sighed and said: "Why a Fox News conspiracy propaganda stuff is popping up on here, I have no idea."

"It is not that, and that is exactly why President Trump is upset and why his supporters are upset with the news media," Johnson replied.

"This is not about the media," Chuck Todd said. "Senator Johnson, please, can we please... I have no idea why we're going here. ... Can we please answer the question I asked you instead of trying to make Donald Trump feel better here that you're not criticizing him? I'm just trying to ask you a simple question of what made you wince. I'm asking a simple question about you clearly were upset that there was an implication military aid was being frozen because the president wanted an investigation."

"He wants an accounting of what happened in Ukraine in 2016. Who set him up. Did things spring from Ukraine? ... Ukrainian officials reportedly helped Clinton allies research Trump’s advisers," Johnson stated. "There is potential interference in the 2016 campaign. That’s what Trump wants to get to the bottom of. But the press doesn’t want to."

Johnson added: "I’m being called a conspiracy theorist, John Solomon is, because the press is horribly biased and Trump and his supporters completely understand that."

"There are a lot of unanswered questions,” the senator exclaimed. "Chuck, I just want the truth. The American people want the truth."

"So do you not trust the FBI? Do you not trust the CIA?" Todd asked.

Johnson replied: "No, no, I don’t. Absolutely not. After Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, after James Comey?!"

“I’m sorry that you chose to come on this way, senator," Chuck Todd said as he ended the interview.

On Friday, a powerful Republican senator indicated to the Wall Street Journal that he had been concerned this summer that President Trump was creating a quid pro quo with Ukraine by holding up military aid. But he appeared to quickly regret sharing something so seemingly damaging, and he immediately began walking back his statements.
It was likely not a coincidence then that on Sunday, that senator, Homeland Security Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), went on TV to try to defend the president. Except, he arguably did more damage to the president’s cause by showing just how difficult it is to defend Trump right now.
In his interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Johnson refused to answer basic questions about why he was concerned about Trump, instead bringing up a conspiracy theory about a former FBI official that has nothing to do with this matter. “Answer the question that I asked you instead of trying to make Donald Trump feel better here that you’re not criticizing him,” an exasperated host Chuck Todd said at one point.

The interview underscored that, increasingly, to defend Trump amid revelations from a whistleblower complaint and diplomatic text messages alleging he used his power as president to pressure a foreign country to help him politically, Republicans like Johnson and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) have to ignore or ditch the facts altogether.

TODD: Let me start with something you told the Wall Street Journal late last week. You had said when Mr. Sondland — Gordon Sondland seemed to imply that — the frozen military aid was connected to a promise by Zelensky for investigations, you said, “At that suggestion, I winced. My reaction was, ‘Oh God. I don’t want to see those two things combined.’” Why did you wince and what did you mean by “those two things combined?”

He asked a question. Was the military aid dependent upon the investigation into the Biden family!

He spent the next five minutes, claiming that the entire investigation was triggered by the dossier and the corrupt FBI.

Scott, you have been suckered into believing a huge conspiracy, that infiltrated the government infrastructure by hatred for the orange man.

Ron Johnson answered Chuck Todd's question.

He just didn't answer it in a manner that Chuck Todd wanted or imagined. Todd was looking for Ron Johnson to demand that the President was breaking some law or doing something wrong.

When Johnson explained that he was upset with hearing something, but then believed the President when the President denied it.

That should be it.

But Todd wasn't having any of that.

When Johnson explained that the idea of withholding funds had nothing to do with Biden, but rather dealt with investigating the 2016 Ukrainian election interference.

Todd should have taken that at his word.

Instead he calls the investigation that is currently taking place by our Inspector Generals, our Attorney General, members of our intelligence agencies, and a prosecutor... a FOX News Conspiracy.

Yeah... Chuck Todd can go fuck himself.

I wonder what happened to the Media demanding that you couldn't criticize our intelligence community? That they were beyond criticism or beyond questioning.

I guess that get's thrown out the window when they are looking into possible corruption with Democrats.

Then our entire intelligence community is suddenly an arm of FOX News and they are just engaged in "conspiracy theories"?

Why are they conspiracy theories? Because some unknown person told some anonymous source, that people close the situation that it what they are investigating didn't happen. So they should leave it there.

Another version of the Johnson idiocy supporting Johnson being an asshole......

Chuck Todd slammed Republican Sen. Ron Johnson for bringing up “Fox News conspiracy propaganda stuff” on “Meet the Press” on Sunday when Johnson failed to directly answer a question about President Trump’s dealings with Ukraine.

Todd asked Johnson, R-Wis., why he said he winced “at the suggestion” that Trump withheld Ukraine military aid as leverage for an investigation into foreign interference during the 2016 presidential election. When Johnson began to change the topic to claim that the president was “set up” in part by FBI agents, former political opponent Hillary Clinton and Ukrainians, a conspiracy theory circulated by Fox News and conservative media, the Sunday show host quickly interrupted.

“I have no idea why a Fox news conspiracy, propaganda stuff, is popping up on here,” Todd said speaking over Johnson. “I have no idea why we’re going here.”

“Because this is underlining exactly what President Trump is upset and why his supporters are upset at the news media,” Johnson said.

“This is not about the media,” rebutted Todd, who then shouted to get the senator to respond to his original question.

“Senator Johnson, please!” Todd said, holding up his hand. “Can we please answer the question I asked you instead of trying to make Donald Trump feel better here that you’re not criticizing him.”

“I’m just trying to ask you a simple question about what made you wince,” Todd continued, speaking over Johnson. “You clearly were upset that somehow there was an implication that military aid was being frozen because the president wanted an investigation. Why did you wince?”

“Because I didn’t want those connected, and I was supporting the aid,” Johnson finally answered. “But here’s the salient point about why I came forward: When I asked the president about that he completely denied it. He adamantly denied it. He vehemently, angrily denied it. He said, ‘I would never do that.’”

“That is the piece of the puzzle I’m here to report today,” Johnson continued, “that unlike the narrative of the press that President Trump wants to dig up dirt on his 2020 opponent, what he wants is he wants an accounting of what happened in 2016, who set him up, did things spring from Ukraine?”

This President had not been able to be one of the most powerful and richest people in the world if not for his autocratic style. Not only did Trump able to build an empire in the real estate industry and own several other businesses, with a multi million dollar inheritance. But, he also convinced people that he should be the president of the United States. He is known to handle most of the details in running his businesses and knows where he wants to take his empire. Trump has also commended the autocratic styles of leaders in Russia, North Korea and China for their strength and power to crush political opponents. In fact, authoritarian voters are rumored to find him appealing. These and his being frank and decisive when it comes to running his empire have people think that he is an autocratic leader.

His comments about Putin and Kim Jong Ung and now his good friend in China, he just invited him to investigate the Biden family, are proof that he is a clear and present danger to the greatest Constitutional democratic republic in history.

Chuck Todd, left, and Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019.
Johnson, who chairs the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, went on to quote an article published by Politico in 2017, reporting that “Donald Trump wasn’t the only presidential candidate whose campaign was boosted by officials of a former Soviet bloc country” and that Ukraine government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee by exposing ties between Russia and Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

“There is potential interference in the 2016 campaign, that’s what Trump wants to get to the bottom of but the press doesn’t want to,” said Johnson. “The people who wrote this article are being pilloried. I’m being called a conspiracy theorist. [Fox News contributor] John Solomon is being called a conspiracy theorist because the press is horribly biased. And Trump and his supporters completely understand that.”

“Look, I understand that the way to avoid answering a question is to attack us in the press,” Todd said.

Johnson insisted there be an investigation into the unfounded theory that Ukraine, not Russia, interfered in the previous presidential election on behalf of Clinton, including “trying to keep Vice President Biden out of the primary for the Democratic campaign.”

“So, senator, do you not believe the Russians interfered in the presidential elections to benefit Donald Trump?” asked Todd.

“They absolutely did,” Johnson answered. “And I don’t know to what extent the Ukrainians did. I don’t know to what extent the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign were involved in kind of juicing up the Ukrainian involvement as well. There are a lot of unanswered questions.”

When Todd asked the senator if he trusts the FBI and CIA, Johnson replied, “No, no I don’t. Absolutely not.”

Johnson said he didn't trust FBI and CIA officials from the Obama administration and went on to accuse Todd of setting up a “totally biased” interview.

“We don’t have enough time to go through all of the things I can talk about,” he said, to which Todd agreed, blaming the lack of time on the conspiracy theories.

“Senator, I don't know why you just came out here to personally attack the press and avoid answering questions about what’s happened here,” Todd said. “It's pretty clear we’re only dealing with the facts that we have, not the facts that you wish them to be.”

“That’s what I want to deal with and I can’t get the answers,” Johnson said. “Something pretty fishy happened during the 2016 campaign and the transition, the early part of the Trump presidency and we still don’t know.”

‘We do know the answers,” Todd interrupted. “You’re making a choice not to believe the investigations that have taken place, multiple.”

“I want to look at the entire truth,” Johnson insisted after Todd accused him of seeking truths that are “politically comfortable. ... I want the complete truth,” he said.

“So do we.” Todd replied. “I’m sorry that you chose to come on this way, senator,” he added, cutting Johnson off as the segment closed.

I don't say this lightly, but let's be frank, a national nightmare is upon us. The basic rules of our democracy are under attack from the president. We begin tonight with a series of admissions by the president that all but assures his impeachment in the House of Representatives. It's a moment of truth for Republicans and they've been largely silent on what we've seen from the president. Today, he publicly called on two foreign governments to interfere in the election by investigating his chief 2020 political rival...

What you just heard is a public admission of the allegations of the heart of the House's impeachment inquiry and at the heart of the whistleblower's complaint. That the president of the United States, Donald J. Trump is using the power of his office to solicit foreign interference in the 2020 election while doing it relying on a debunked conspiracy theory or two.

By the way, this is not hearsay, this is not a leak, this is not a whistleblower complaint. It's not a memorandum of a phone conversation. You heard the president did it on the White House lawn. This moment should arguably be a national emergency. The Founding Fathers would have considered it a national emergency if the president publicly lobbied multiple foreign governments to interfere in the next election.

And yet there has been virtually no condemnation for the president's party at all for this remark which was remarkable considering the precedent it would set and the lasting damage it would do to our democracy. It is tough to say lightly, but this is the moment that we're at.

So no one who worked for Obama should ever be investigated?

Since January 2017, the media and other Democrats have talked about the Constitution, the rule of law, and piously intoned that no one is above the rule of law.

Yet from January 2009 to January 2017, the Constitution and rule of law were effectively suspended for President Obama and those who worked for him.

Here are some examples:

Trump did not dictatorially and unilaterally change and ignore existing immigration law. That was Obama, and Trump is trying to reverse Obama's unconstitutional action and enforce the laws Congress passed as his oath requires.

Trump did not sue states that sought to enforce immigration laws. That was Obama.

Trump did not threaten to cut off funds from Ukraine if they didn't do something specific. That was Obama and his vice president, Joe Biden. What's more, Biden said it on tape. That was quid pro quo.

The U.S. and Europe, in the 1990s, agreed to help Ukraine defend itself if it would agree to give up nuclear weapons. When Ukraine was attacked by Russia, the agreement meant nothing. Obama turned down the request. Trump didn't -- and gave them the weapons.

The U.S and Ukraine also have an agreement, a law signed by then-President Clinton, to cooperate on corruption. Obama looked the other way as Biden's son got a $50,000 per month retainer in a no-show job he knew nothing about. Biden himself threatened to cut off funds if the prosecutor investigating the company's previously corrupt dealings didn't get fired on the spot. The media didn't care about that, but it goes after Trump for looking into corruption.

Trump didn't take $1.8 billion of taxpayer money to bribe Iranian tyrants. That was Obama.

Trump did not charge eight whistleblowers with violating the Espionage Act nor did he sic the government on journalists. That was Obama. If Trump even uses the word 'spy,' the media and other Democrats accuse him of violating the law. Remember this?

Obama’s Legacy: A Historic War On Whistleblowers
As for Obama’s record, here’s what history will show: In his eight years in office, the Obama Justice Department spearheaded eight Espionage Act prosecutions, more than all US administrations combined. Journalists were also caught in the crosshairs: Investigators sought phone records for Associated Press journalists, threatened to jail an investigative reporter for The New York Times, and named a Fox News reporter a co-conspirator in a leak case. In Texas, a journalist investigating private defense contractors became the focus of a federal prosecution and was initially charged for sharing a hyperlink containing hacked information that had already been made public.

The Trump administration didn't illegally spy on thousands of Americans, including on people surrounding his political opponents as well as on reporters. That was Obama.

Trump didn't use the media to spread lies about the Iranian deal. That was Obama, according to his loyal creative-writing minion, Ben Rhodes.

Trump didn't dictatorially stop a years-long investigation by the supposedly "independent" Justice Department into drug running by terrorists sponsored by Iran. That was Obama.

Trump didn't use the IRS to violate the freedom of speech and freedom of association rights of political opponents. That was Obama.

cowardly king obama said...

Trump didn't violate the nation's bankruptcy laws to reward political supporters. That was Obama, rewarding unions when he used taxpayer money to bailout GM.

Trump didn't use foreign nationals as an excuse to spy on and attempt to take out a political opponent. That was the Obama administration, in collusion with the DNC and Hillary Clinton.

The Trump administration did not illegally unmask names surrounding his political opponents. That was Obama.

Trump did not give U.S. uranium operations to Russia after his Secretary of State got massive donations for her foundation and her husband got huge amounts for a single speech from Russia. That was Obama.

Trump did not whisper that he would be flexible with Russia. That was Obama.

Trump did not give a stand down order to stop investigating Russian hacking before an election. That was Obama.

Trump did not allow people to die while concocting a lie about a video to protect his political power. That was Obama (and Hillary).

Trump did not violate separation of powers by illegally stealing money more than once to pay shortfalls for Obamacare. That was Obama.

Trump did not shake down corporations and set up slush funds at EPA, Justice and CFPB to be used for political purposes and to reward political supporters. That was Obama.

Trump does not look away when sanctuary cities and states refuse to enforce immigration laws that Congress passed. That was Obama.

Trump did not willfully and illegally withhold documents from Congress for years on Fast and Furious. That was Obama.

Trump did not have an Secretary of State who continually violated the nations security laws and then made sure that she wasn't prosecuted. That was Obama. Maybe that was because Obama himself violated the laws by corresponding with her on that computer.

Trump did not have a Secretary of State handing out favors for huge foreign donations. That was Obama.

Trump did not look the other way while people named Eric Holder, James Clapper, John Brennan, Susan Rice and others committing perjury. That was Obama. People associated with Obama were always above the law while the media and other Democrats lecture the public about no one being above the law.

For eight years most of the media cheered as Obama and his administration ignored the law and Constitution and for three years, they have been searching for a crime with which to impeach Trump. They print fake stories with anonymous sources to seek reasons to impeach. They act like the Obama administration was scandal-free to intentionally mislead the public because the only thing that matters is power for Democrats.

It is truly a shame that so few in the media, in collusion with other Democrats, believe that Democrats are above the law and intentionally mislead the public by creating fake crimes for Trump.

It is a bigger shame when Republicans want to be loved by the media and other Democrats and instead of wanting to root out crimes and corruption climb on board to attack Trump.

Thank God for Trump and his tweeting because if he was not so vocal, he would have been gone by now and the corrupt media and other Democrats would be well on their way to destroying America, capitalism and our way of life. Few Republicans have the gonads that Trump has to take the cabal on the way he does.

TRUMP 2020

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

The Soviet Union government had a law chief enforcement officer named Vladimir Putin. He was the last leader of the KGB.

He did the bidding of the Premier.

Trump has taken a path towards the same situation. He appointed Barr to be his attorney general of Trump.

WASHINGTON — After a jet carrying Attorney General William P. Barr touched down in Rome last month, some diplomats and intelligence officials at the American Embassy were unsure why he had come. They were later surprised, two officials said, to discover that he had circumvented protocols in arranging the trip, where he met with Italian political and intelligence officials.

Everything about Mr. Barr’s visit was unusual — not least his companion and their mission: John H. Durham, a top federal prosecutor whom Mr. Barr has assigned to review the origins of the Russia investigation. They were seeking evidence that might bolster a conspiracy theory long nurtured by President Trump: that some of America’s closest allies plotted with his “deep state” enemies in 2016 to try to prevent him from winning the presidency.

After the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, testified to lawmakers in July that he found insufficient evidence to charge any Trump associates with conspiring with Russia, an emboldened Mr. Trump began pressing world leaders to cooperate with Mr. Barr.

Now, glimpses of the review are emerging. Mr. Barr is taking an active role, signaling that he has made it a priority and is personally overseeing it.

The house of Representatives have to subpoena Barr and his staff and see if they were attempting to commit collusion.

How many whistleblowers coming forward with direct information about the President and his attempt to bribe the government of Ukraine?

Democracy dies in darkness.
Oct. 6, 2019 at 3:10 p.m. PDT
An attorney for the whistleblower who sounded the alarm about President Trump’s pressure on Ukraine said Sunday that “multiple” whistleblowers have come forward, deepening a political quagmire that has engulfed the president as well as several of his Cabinet members.

The news comes as House Democrats are accelerating their impeachment inquiry and subpoenaing documents related to Trump’s efforts to push foreign countries to investigate one of his political opponents, former vice president Joe Biden.

“I can confirm that my firm and my team represent multiple whistleblowers in connection to the underlying August 12, 2019, disclosure to the Intelligence Community Inspector General,”

They didn't actually say how many more, but this is not going away, despite the President and his supporters spout conspiracy theories about the Obama administration and crooked Hillary!
