64 women have filed sexual harassment suits
Several lawsuits have been filed over the years alleging that women were discriminated against at Bloomberg’s business-information company, including a case brought by a federal agency and one filed by a former employee, who blamed Bloomberg for creating a culture of sexual harassment and degradation.
The most high-profile case was from a former saleswoman. She sued Bloomberg personally as well as his company, alleging workplace discrimination. She alleged Bloomberg told her to “kill it” when he learned she was pregnant. Bloomberg has denied her allegation under oath, and he reached a confidential settlement with the saleswoman.
The Washington Post interviewed a former Bloomberg employee, David Zielenziger, who said he witnessed the conversation with the saleswoman. Zielenziger, who said he had not previously spoken publicly about the matter, said Bloomberg’s behavior toward the woman was “outrageous. I understood why she took offense.”Oh... and remember "Stormy Daniels" and the liberal concept that it was against the rules, amoral, unethical, and even illegal to engage in nondisclosure agreements with women to keep them quiet?
Now, as Bloomberg is increasingly viewed as a viable Democratic candidate for president and the #MeToo era has raised the profile of workplace harassment, he is finding that his efforts to prevent disclosure are clashing against demands that he release former employees and complainants from their nondisclosure agreement. So get that... not just one or two nondisclosure agreements, but multiple nondisclosure agreements over the years. Sources are claiming there are literally dozens of settled lawsuits that include nondisclosure agreements. The left felt that "one" nondisclosure agreement should have all but proven Trump to be a pig and unqualified for the office of the Presidency? How do these same liberals justify dozens of nondisclosure agreements?
Should be fun the first time Bloomberg gets on stage for debate and is asked if he plans to release all of his former employees who sued him for sexual harassment from their nondisclosure agreements so that they can talk to the press? Well one candidate already asked him about it and...
One of Bloomberg’s rivals for the Democratic nomination, Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, said in December at an Iowa campaign stop that nondisclosure agreements are “a way for people to hide bad things they’ve done.” She called on Bloomberg to release women from such agreements.
Asked while campaigning to respond, Bloomberg said: “Maybe the senator should worry about herself and I’ll focus on myself.” He acknowledged enforcing nondisclosure agreements by his former employees and said, “You can’t just walk away from it. They’re legal agreements, and for all I know the other side wouldn’t want to get out of it.”Doesn't look like he is willing to apologize about anything regarding his long history of repeated sexual harassment of his female employees! In fact, this about sums it up! He's just not going to talk about it and hope it goes away!
Bloomberg declined an interview request. A spokesman said Bloomberg would not release anyone from a confidentiality agreement, and that he would not release his depositions in the cases.Sure... Mini-Mike doesn't have have the balls to actually talk about or address the situation. In fact, he just sends a spokesman to tell reporters (and the country) that these sexual harassment lawsuits against him are "nobody's business". Well, let's see how the "Me-too" movement reacts to that?
Either it's the end of Bloomberg or the end of "Me-too"!
I'd be fine with the end of either!

Is that the best you can do, Ch? :-)
There's a big orange shadow over so much of what you say...
There's a glass houses thing here.
me too was always a liberal creation con. and as with most liberal creation cons, the unintended consequences were never considered prior to launching the crusade.
nowadays i read articles written by women profiling women who can't get a private audience with a male boss, who's male boss won't travel for business with them, dine with them, stay in the same hotel or even take the same flight. every interaction is with the door open and often with several others in the room.
and the women say that this just isn't fair.
i see it in my workplace all the time. and to those who complain i simply ask "well what did you expect?"
tiny mike is a tyrannical little shit and a fucking sexist to boot. if we can put trump's "grab 'em by the pussy" on an endless loop replay, we should be able to highlight bloomberg's sexist and misogynist escapades ad infinitum as well...
...much to the chagrin of pastor hypocrite the pederast.
Is that the best you can do, Ch? :-)
Actually Reverend Hypocrite!
It's what the Washington Post did... not me!
You (of all people) should respect the WaPo article, since you cut and paste all the time from that rag!!!
64 Sexual Harassment suits?
Dozens of nondisclosure agreements?
And contrary to what you keep telling us!
He is making no attempts to discuss it, much less apologize for it!
You are the one who keeps saying he is different because he apologizes for his behavior, but in fact he hasn't apologized at all. He stands both by the settlements and the nondisclosure agreements and tosses out the implied threat to anyone who tries to break them!
So tell us, Reverend Hypocrite!
What is it about 64 Sexual Harassment suits against Bloomberg that separates him from Trump (other than him and his company appear worse than Trump and the Trump Organization).
Oh wait... I forgot!
You only "ASK" questions... you NEVER EVER answer them.
In this case, who can blame you!
There is no answer!
So Reverend...
What do you call someone who denounces one person over behavior, but then supports another for the same (or worse) behavior... because supporting the latter is guided by political affiliation?
What is that sort of person called when they are not consistent with their criticisms and support based on personal biases rather than objectivity?
What is that called again?
It's right no the tip of my tongue!
the bedrock of liberalism?

The three stooges really don't like where things are going... you can tell because of their limited engagement recently.
James completely disappeared after this post... probably ferociously attempting to discount the Washington Post hit piece on Mayor Bloomberg or trying to come up with some manner to discredit the entire deal.
Reality... like most Democrats James, Roger, and Denny are completely let down by the actual Democrats running. They desperately "want" someone to step up, but who?
Biden is lagging behind and the Hunter stories just won't go away. If that doesn't scare them, then it should. Because there appears to be fire with this particular smoke.
Klobuchar and Buttigieg just don't have the widespread support of the Democratic population, much less the country's. They will not hold up to Trump and everyone knows it.
So Bloomberg becomes the flavor of the month and everyone listens to an ad and suddenly... boom, he's the guy! But most probably haven't seen Bloomberg speak, or watched him debate, or seen him in a tough interview because... well he hasn't spoken much, hasn't been in a debate, and hasn't been taking much tough interviews. But those tough moments will be coming and 64 Sexual harassment lawsuits against Bloomberg... well in the year 2020 (with the #metoo movement) that is 99% disqualifying in the eyes of many Democrats. Some will vote for him, because they think he can beat Trump, but how many pink pussy hat women will support a man who not only has been accused of personal harassment as well as promoting such a toxic sexual atmosphere, but refuses to let the poor women talk. Oppressing them even as he runs!
So they are stuck with Bernie... the only "vetted" candidate out there. Everyone knows his warts... he's a cranky crazy 105 year old communist! But that is likely going to be the best that they can do.
I'd be depressed too!
but how many pink pussy hat women will support a man who not only has been accused of personal harassment as well as promoting such a toxic sexual atmosphere, but refuses to let the poor women talk.
As we've seen with the Clinton scandal, quite a few of them will set aside their principles as long as the guy as the right letter after this name.
Once again we see the huge disconnect between Washington, NY, California and the rest of the country. Daytona just the latest example.
As we've seen with the Clinton scandal, quite a few of them will set aside their principles as long as the guy as the right letter after this name.
But will they support Bloomberg over other Democrats in the primary?
I get supporting Bloomberg over Trump, but Bloomberg over Amy Klobuchar or Pete Buttigieg?
If they believe Bloomberg has the best chance to beat Trump. It didn't hurt Bloomberg to float Hillary's name out there as VP.
She'll give them all the cover they need.
What do you call someone who denounces one person over really horrible behavior toward women, but then supports another for behavior toward women that is not nearly so reprehensible?
A Democrat.
What do you call someone who supports one person despite really horrible behavior toward women, but then denounces another for behavior that is not nearly so reprehensible?
A Republican.
Were you looking for hypocrite?
Fine. Then, a Republican hypocrite.
I hesitantly asked a table full of progressive central Illinois Methodists in a discussion class this morning what they thought of my conviction that the Democrats' best chance for defeating Trump lies with Bloomberg.
To my surprise, joy, and relief they HEARTILY agreed!
We had a black President.
We now have a Russian President.
Time for a Jewish President.
Conway Says Bloomberg’s Sexist Remarks Are Worse
Asked about sexist remarks Michael Bloomberg reportedly made to women who worked for him, Kelly Anne Conway said those remarks, compared to what Donald Trump said on the infamous Access Hollywood tapes, "were worse -- oh my goodness, it's far worse!”
__________
Pete Buttigieg disagrees:
"No, there's no comparison to Trump's rhetoric."
What do you call someone who supports one person despite really horrible behavior toward women, but then denounces another for behavior that is not nearly so reprehensible?
Or you call them Liz Warren, Donna Brazilem, members of the view, and all the others who are actually calling him out!
Those who let it go, when they attacked Trump for it... are the hypocrites!
Personally, there are a ton of reasons why I wouldn't vote for Bloomberg, and considering what he has done is OBJECTIVELY AND TANGIBLY worse than anything Trump has actually done... well then I wouldn't replace Trump with Bloomberg because I don't like a crude obnoxious sexist New York Billionaire as my new President.
In other words... I don't care much about which of the two has a worse history (albeit Trump doesn't have anywhere's near 64 lawsuits).
But, alas Reverend Hypocrite!
You demand that a President who has a rip roaring economy, jobs being created, less crime, less poverty, higher wages, less illegal immigration, better trade deals... and I could go on and on...
should NOT be President because of his personal behavior.
but then you support someone who is OBJECTIVELY worse by all accounts!
That is simply hypocritical...
wouldn't you agree?
Oh...
and even on the view, Bloomberg "defended" his NDA and business behavior.
and you claim you prefer Bloomberg to Trump because he is willing to admit he is wrong and apologize!
But yet he hasn't apologized, now has he?
He demands he has done nothing wrong and women love working for him!
If he really wanted to apologize, he could start with releasing all of those women from their NDA!
Ch says: "...considering what Bloomberg has done is OBJECTIVELY AND TANGIBLY worse than anything Trump has actually done..."
Let's run that one past the voters, especially the women voters.

Here is a question for you Reverend Hypocrite!
And you don't even have to answer it...
A man
- with 64 sexual harassment lawsuits, dozens of NDAs with these women, acknowledges but refuses to either apologize and or release anyone from these NDAs.
- Supports the redlining of mortgage companies which prevents certain demographics of people (minorities) from being able to garner mortgages in certain higher class neighborhoods.
- implemented stop and frisk in minority neighborhoods, which provided for a indisputable higher percentage of arrests for possession and other crimes for minorities (especially minoritie teens).
- States that the police should go where the crime is and sometimes the police just have to throw people up against the wall so that these people think twice about coming out with any sort of drugs or guns.
Now... ask yourself... how would you feel about that person.
If he was a Republican?
If he was a Republican and could come across as well as Bloomberg does when confronted on any of those issues (see the video at 4:41PM), I might very well vote for him--CERTAINLY OVER TRUMP!
Wow James...
You mean he attempts to rationalize things...
And you just "believe him"???
Gullible, much!!!
This is waaaaaay tooo much fun!!!
Reverend Hypocrite on board with the anti-black, anti-woman, anti-Obamacare, anti-Democrat... sexual predator billionaire!
Because the Reverend wants to believe that "someone" can beat Trump!
So he sides with an unproven worse version of Trump!
Knee slapping hilarious.
God forbid that I should EVER side with a WORSE version of Trump!
(Where could one be found?)
You found one with yhe 64 sexual harassment lawsuit racist billionaire Bloomberg!
Even Trump wasn't sued 64 times!
Does Ch actually think 64 sexual harassment charges were filed against Bloomberg himself personally? No, most were against the company.
Years ago, male workers were far less sensitive to women's issues and feelings than now. That went on in numerous businesses, and the women in question got some form of satisfaction that they agreed to in NDA's.
