So we have six states and "Democrats abroad" voting on Tuesday. There are 365 delegates at stake and as of now, it would appear that Biden is expected to garner approximately 200 of those 365 delegates (increasing his delegate lead by 35). Biden is expected to win Michigan, Missouri, and Mississippi, and draw basically even in Idaho, North Dakota, and with the"Democrats abroad" voters. Washington is the only state Sanders is expected to win, but even that state is expected to be close.
By my calculations, that would put Biden up between 100-110 delegates. Obviously there has not been much polling since Bloomberg and Warren dropped out and much of what people are going on in speculation about momentum, etc. Obviously lots can happen, but suffice it to say that Bernie is still closer in 2020, than he was in 2016 when he stayed in the race till the bitter end.
Right now Democrats are facing a double edged sword. Much of the reason that Bernie has not lived up to certain expectations is that the younger voters are not as excited as they were in 2016 and not coming out at the same pace. While this is certainly helping the Democratic establishment push forward a candidate that is not Bernie, it does not bode well for a general election where they will need that younger vote. To a smaller scale, Democrats are seeing a similar issue with Latino voters, who are less enthused, and less likely to come out and back Biden.
Democrats might be right to say that Trump would exploit the idea of a self described socialist at the top of the ticket. But they may be trading one flaw for another, when they put forward a gaffe prone 77 year old who just doesn't excite much of the ever growing far left wing of the Democratic Party. At least Clinton was able to create excitement by being the first "women" to ever run for President. There was a sort of "progressiveness" about that that many young people got behind. But there isn't the same sort of objective progressiveness about a hair sniffing, I like kids to rub my hairy legs, white male senior citizen.
I go back to the 2016 election, where my son (now 17) took part in a school Presidential election where one of their own students beat Clinton with write in votes for second place. When I asked him and his friends, they all just said that the idea of Trump as President was just way cooler than Hillary. As that generation (who don't necessarily see liberalism as "cool" like those a few years older) starts to vote, that younger vote may not be so overwhelmingly liberal.

These are the Trump campaign’s ads attacking Biden’s cognitive decline.
Biden’s response? His campaign has been avoiding public events and TV appearances, to limit his exposure.
If he’s the nominee, these ads will run 24/7. He’s defenseless. He’d lose.

I think Biden is the bluff candidate. No way is he the final nominee. Either Biden or Sanders would be a disaster for them. No wonder dems are rooting for the coronavirus.
The youth was 14 and grew up und President Prosperity, they are now 18.
They may well VOTE for Trump over the other guy.
The biggest impulse working FOR Biden is Trump himself. Trump is now Trump's own worst enemy. Anti-Trump sentiment is strong. Latinos are going to go for Trump? Doubt it, they dislike him mucho. Blacks? Forget it. Young people? They dislike him too.
And what are the bookies saying?

SUPER BIDEN
By Anthony Bennett
After one of the biggest turnarounds in primary history and amid a huge wave of dropouts before and after Super Tuesday, former Vice President Joe Biden has become the overwhelming favorite to win the Democratic nomination.
Historically, Trump’s odds improved in response to Bernie Sanders’ status as favorite to be the Democratic Party’s candidate. Biden’s rise dented Trump’s odds lead.
Joe Biden 2020 Odds
Biden, at +175 this week, is not only the Democratic favorite again, but has the best chance to unseat the president that any Democrat has had in this cycle according to oddsmakers. It’s hard to believe that a few short weeks ago, after an awful start to the primary season, his campaign seemed to be on life support. He not only had not won a state but had barely snagged even a few delegates.
Biden won South Carolina, as expected, on Feb. 29 after South Carolina representative and state political juggernaut Jim Clyburn endorsed him. Biden dominated the state’s primary, securing more than two-thirds of its delegates.
Then came Super Tuesday, and the whole campaign changed drastically.
On Super Tuesday he won the popular vote in 10 of the day's 14 states, including Texas, where he beat the long-favored Sanders, giving him the lead in pledged delegates.
Amy Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg both dropped out before Super Tuesday and both announced their support for Biden. T
Biden now leads in pledged delegates. What’s more, he has gotten his toughest part out of the way: He leads the polls in Michigan, the largest of the six states that are voting this Tuesday, as well as Florida, where the primary is March 17. The demographics favor Biden anyway in Florida, the largest state remaining, especially after billionaire Michael Bloomberg dropped out and endorsed Biden.
The biggest impulse working FOR Biden is Trump himself. Trump is now Trump's own worst enemy. Anti-Trump sentiment is strong. Latinos are going to go for Trump? Doubt it, they dislike him mucho. Blacks? Forget it. Young people? They dislike him too.
pederast, your entire opinion is complete conjecture with no basis in fact.
look, i get that you think you're filling in for the alky, but yours is "kerry by a landslide"- level bullshit.
biden has the mental acuity of a potted plant these days, while trump has people sleeping in the street two days ahead of his rally in new jersey of all places for chrissakes.
trump is going to stalk biden like a hunter stalking a wounded animal. biden announces a rally somewhere, trump has a rally a hundred times the size in the same town within 24 hours.
and brad parscale is the campaign manager biden WISHES he had.
so keep gargling teegen goddard's balls, pederast.
that's served you so well so far. especially with midget mike.
btw, i can't wait until joe is asked to explain how now, after being in DC for fifty fucking years, how now he plans to fix everything he couldn't fix over a half century of running his grift.
rrb, I took my expectations about Bloomberg from my own reading and from watching youtube interviews, not from Taegan Goddard.
And Taegan Goddard doesn't control the bookies.

Days after Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) wore an enormous gas mask during a House floor vote on an emergency funding package for the coronavirus response, the congressman announced that a resident in his northwestern Florida district had died of covid-19.
Gaetz said in a statement late Friday that he was “extremely saddened to learn of the first fatality in our district,” a resident who lived in Santa Rosa County. His message followed the Florida Department of Health’s announcement late Friday that two residents had died of the disease, pushing the U.S. death toll to 17 as of that night.
In addition to the patient in Santa Rosa who had recently traveled internationally, the second coronavirus-related death was a Lee County resident in their 70s who had recently traveled abroad.

"from an outbreak in Mexico.[116]
As of mid-March 2010, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimated that about 59 million Americans contracted the H1N1 virus, 265,000 were hospitalized as a result, and 12,000 died."
Anyone believe Coronia will get this bad?
CHT said.
"Shame on you, Reverend Hypocrite. I am sure your god is proud of you using death for your own personal purposes."
I agree with CHT.
Does anyone believe the goat fucker has a brain???????
You always agree with Lil Schitty.....you don't need a brain to blindly follow another asshole off the cliff of stupidity which you do soon well!!!!! BWAAAAAAPAAAAAA!!!!
Funny goat fucker.....the atheist Lil Schitty invoking god into his conversation......can't get more hypocritical than that you goat fucking idiot....
My guess is that shortly after he wins the nomination something will "happen" to incapacitate Joe Biden.
Then the DNC is free to choose whoever they like as the nominee.
Who gets the VP slot will be interesting since it probably won't be any of the candidates who ran in the primary.
Not sure how the bait and switch will go down with the voters though.
