Here is the reality...

Conservatives are adults and at all times are held to a higher standard. Liberals are pretty much children, and expected to do things like cheer on Antifa riots, shoot Republicans at softball games, and throw tantrums none stop.

The Trump inauguration protests by liberals were arguably more violent and certain caused more damage than the riot this week. Democrats cheered when liberal occupied the Wisconsin capital building for several weeks, but peed their underwear when conservatives occupied a federal building for a few hours. They cheered on liberal protesters as they took over the Senate office buildings, when they interrupted the USSC and attempted to physically prevent the Kavanaugh confirmation (let's not forget the character assassination's the precluded all of that).

We have seen over a hundred billion dollars in riot damages done by liberals over the past few months, which has literally been supported not only by our Democrats in leadership, but also in our media. We have had hundreds of cops injured, had hundreds resign, and several have died over these riots. All the while liberal politicians and media attack them, demand that they be defunded, or even sent to prison. 

But all of that is expected and even celebrated. Apparently only responsible adults are held to any real standard of behavior. 

As the eldest brother in my family, my parents often times chastised me the most, demanding that "I" should know better. In our society conservatives are the older brother, responsible for "knowing better". Liberals are the irresponsible younger brother who gets away with things, while pointing fingers at everyone else for their behavior.
