Someone should really explain this...

Just an explanation. Something sane that makes even marginal sense would do? To be clear, I am not accusing anyone of fraud, just pointing out that this is the sort of thing that triggers people to question election results.

One of the ongoing "conspiracy theories" being floated was the many times where Trump votes seem to go "down" rather than up, while apparently this sort of similar vote drop was nowhere to be found with other candidates. Now perhaps these are just glitches. Perhaps it does happen to other candidates, but nobody is looking for it. But what seems clear is that these so called vote drops (or vote switches as alleged in some cases) seemed to take place in states that used Dominion voting machines.

Now I looked at the county by county results in many of the counties where this was said to have taken place, and I did not see anything alarming that suggested any sort of malfeasance. In fact I wrote a post about it. Debunking it as it where. The numbers were generally favorable for Trump and not Biden,  and there was no indication anywhere that these particular votes were "taken" from Trump. By all logical accounts, it seems much more likely to involve some reasonable computer explanation than any sort of illegal activity to steal away votes.

But apparently this happened again last night, and unfortunately in much larger scale. By multiple accounts (CNN, Reuters, FOX, and others) reported a strange set of circumstances that appears to pull 31,400 votes from the Perdue total.

And once something happens on the internet. You can never take it back! 

Now this is obviously curious and the fact that it both goes unnoticed (or unreported) by any of the major networks is strange. One would think after all of the allegations of this sort of data manipulation and such that something like this would be immediately addressed with the relatively logical explanation that accounts for it. Since multiple networks showed the glitch, it must be coming from the SOS website. If the SOS reported a "typo" or something to that extent, one might think that they would explain that and get out in front of it. Obviously the Georgia Governor and SOS are under enough fire without having these sorts of "glitches" happen, much less happen and go unexplained. It's like you are teeing up the ball for the conspiracy theorist to take a good whack at.

The other issue that seems to take place in these same scenarios where Republican Candidate are attempting to hold off the late night big city vote rally is that the number of "remaining" votes seems to never go down as they add vote totals to the two candidates. 

At one point in time, the vote counting went on for over an hour, thousands and thousands of votes kept being added to the count, but the amount of remaining votes actually increasing slightly (135,448 to 135,690) over the very period of time where Perdue went from leading to trailing.

Again, these are estimated remaining vote totals and they are likely being calculated from the reports provided from the counties and it is not evidence of any real "fraud".  But again, why does this seem to only happen late at night when nobody else "other" than the large Democratic counties are still counting any votes? Why do these same counties always seem to "underestimate" how many ballots that they have left to count. We know at 11:00 at night that nobody is still providing "new" ballots for you to count, so why have you so little idea what you have? 

It would appear like fairly simple math. You have a count of how many people voted in your county (or you should have). You have a count of what you have reported to the SOS (or you should have). The difference is what you have left to count. It's literally simple subtraction. If you cannot provide that number with any degree of accuracy, then why are you put in charge of "counting" anything? 

Look... the idea of "finding" new boxes of ballots down the stretch of a close election is the stuff that conspiracies theories (and actual fraud) are made up. This is the picture in people's minds when they view these sorts of thing, and it certainly begs the question. Why, on gods green earth, does the same unusual behavior continue to happen over and over and over and over again and why doesn't anyone every seem to care to put an end to it?
