“After numerous reports of irregularities in the 2020 election, the investigation network expanded. Many have focused on investigating the election, according to Caron, who said most are volunteering, while some are getting paid for the inquiry. He said that as far as he knows, the size of the network is “way over 400” and that each member of the network sees obvious election fraud based on their own observations.

Maybe they should all be arrested for trying to "willfully defraud the election process" and tried with the President for even suggesting such a thing. Because as we know, while demanding for three years that our President was a Russian asset who conspired with Vladimir Putin to steal the election from Hillary Clinton is perfectly legal, any allegations that a Democrat did not win on the up and up is a crime!
If you can't shame them, cancel them, intimidate them, well then... you can always arrest them for thinking or doing the politically incorrect thing.

Report: Former intelligence, military officials join network investigating election irregularities
By WorldTribune Staff, January 3, 2021
A network of some 400 people from intelligence, military, law enforcement, and the judiciary is investigating irregularities in the 2020 presidential election, a report said.
Robert Caron, one of the organizers of the network, told The Epoch Times that the size of the network is “way over 400” and that each member of the network sees obvious election fraud based on their own observations.
“The fraud was so massive and so blatant, despite what the mainstream media said, that we need to get this information out to the public,” said Caron. “That’s why more and more people from the intelligence community and law enforcement are coming out, which is unheard of.”
Caron said that the network includes former intelligence officers, analysts, operatives, military, law enforcement, and judiciary from the FBI, CIA, Military Intelligence, DIA, and National Security Agency (NSA), among others, as well as many former intelligence officers in other countries.
One of the network’s current investigations “focuses on foreign interference during the Nov. 3 election, with the Chinese Communist Party being a significant player,” the report said.
Caron told The Epoch Times he was recruited to the network in 2014. At that time, he said, many in the intelligence community were witnessing an increase in improper operations. He mentioned that, in 2014, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn called out then-President Barack Obama for “not acting properly on intelligence.”
It was in the summer of 2014 that Obama fired Flynn as Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) over alleged “management issues,” ending his 33-year Army career. After President Donald Trump pardoned Flynn last month, Flynn said in an interview with the New York Post that he was framed via the Russia-collusion investigation partly because Obama was afraid of Flynn’s ability to expose Obama’s corruption.
“President Obama was not acting properly on intelligence that he received concerning Benghazi,” Caron said, referring to an attack of U.S. government facilities in Benghazi, Libya, that resulted in the deaths of several U.S. officials. He said he believes it was then that a lot of people from the intelligence community got together and started recruiting people to join the network.

The Made-Up Conspiracy
12:19 pm
Jonathan Rauch:
“Above all, the Republicans’ challenge is part of an information-warfare campaign. They are using a classic propaganda tactic that might be called ‘conspiracy bootstrapping.’
"First, you introduce a false idea, spreading it by every available means.
Then, once people are talking about it, and some believe it,
you cite its prevalence as evidence that it might be true—
an epistemic sleight-of-hand by which propaganda validates itself.”
Goebbels would be SO proud.
Lines Are Drawn for a Republican Civil War
12:30 pm
Gerald Seib sees this plausible scenario in two years:
“A Republican senator or House member, one party leaders are eager to see retain his or her seat, will be challenged in a primary by a disciple of President Trump.
"The incumbent, after being attacked as a member of a disparaged party establishment, will still win the primary.
"But that outcome will be challenged by Republican rebels, who, taking a cue from what is happening right now, will charge that the election was ‘rigged’ by the establishment, and go to court to try to overturn it.
“Such are the forces being unleashed this week within the GOP, where the prospect of a virtual civil war suddenly feels real.”
The real intra party civil way is the dem party. The left is very unhappy eith Biden's cabinet choices. Hell, Pelosi couldn't even get a majority for speaker.
The Atlantic:
We Can’t Let Our Elections Be This Vulnerable Again
No law can stop reckless people from trying to thwart the popular will, but we should still address the obvious weak spots in our system.
11:22 AM ET
Richard L. Hasen
Professor of law and political science at the University of California, Irvine
The 2020 election and its aftermath have laid bare an unhappy truth: Many of the familiar procedures for translating the people’s will into the choice of a president depend on norms of behavior, not laws. Just this past weekend—two months after Election Day—remarkable efforts to mess with election results became apparent, including the revelation of a recording of, on Saturday, President Donald Trump potentially criminally pressuring Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” more than 11,000 votes to flip Georgia’s election results from Joe Biden to the president. And well over 100 Republican representatives and about a dozen Republican senators appear poised to object to the counting of Electoral College votes on Wednesday for states that Biden won, despite a complete lack of evidence that the results were marred by fraud or irregularities. These efforts are very serious—and very dangerous.
If not for Biden’s significant margin of victory over Trump and for the courageous, politically risky actions of many Republican and Democratic election administrators and elected officials, this Republican attack on American democracy might well have been successful, securing an illegitimate second term for Trump.
Biden Promises Nationwide Mask Mandate And Womandate
WASHINGTON, D.C.—In light of recent events, Biden has updated his COVID plan to include not just a mask mandate, but a mask womandate as well. In a prepared statement given to his nurse and posted on Twitter, the completely legitimate and unquestioned president-elect apologized for the sexist language in his plan.
"Listen folks-- we all make mistakes. I realized this morning that my COVID plan includes a mask mandate, but not a womandate. I have amended and also awomended my plan to include a mask womandate," Biden read off his teleprompter. "We will also be adding a mask non-binarydate, a mask genderqueerdate, a mask two-spiritdate, a mask polygenderdate, and a mask non-binarytrans-speciesdate. More 'dates' will be arriving as we continue to do our research to make sure no one is left out."
According to sources, the Biden transition team has grown alarmed at the number of times the word "men" appears in the English language. They have been working around the clock to replace all usages of the word "men" in their plan with the word "women." Unfortunately, it was determined that the word "women" is also problematic, they then replaced the word "women" with "people who menstruate."
"We have a long way to go," said Biden, "but I know that in time we will mend our nation's wounds-- er, I mean, peoplewhomenstruated them."
What to Expect as Georgia Counts Votes
1:50 pm
Associated Press:
“Just like in November, it’s very possible Americans will go to bed without knowing who won. … In a close contest, look for the Republican candidate to jump out to an early lead. That due to two factors: First, Republican areas of the state usually report their results first. Second, Republican voters have been more likely to vote in person, either on Election Day or during the early voting period. Many counties release those in-person results first.
“Meanwhile, heavily Democratic counties, including Fulton, DeKalb and Chatham counties, historically take longer to count votes. Democratic candidates could also make late surges because of late-counted mail ballots.”
Business Leaders Tell Congress to Certify Electoral Vote
2:18 pm
Almost 200 of the country’s top business leaders urged Congress to certify the electoral results for President-elect Joe Biden in a letter Monday, arguing that “attempts to thwart or delay this process run counter to the essential tenets of our democracy,” the Washington Post reports.
“The letter marked the business community’s most significant push yet to ensure President Trump’s efforts to overturn the November election are unsuccessful. Signers included a wide array of executives of Fortune 500 companies, from the leaders of banks, airlines, investment firms, pharmaceutical companies, professional sports leagues, real estate conglomerates, top law firms and media companies.”

She added: “I think everybody ought to listen to the full hour of it.”

An Insurgency From INSIDE the Oval Office
2:20 pm
“President Trump’s relentless effort to overturn the result of the election that he lost has become the most serious stress test of American democracy in generations, led not by outside revolutionaries intent on bringing down the system but by the very leader charged with defending it,” the New York Times reports.
“In the 220 years since a defeated John Adams turned over the White House to his rival, firmly establishing the peaceful transfer of power as a bedrock principle, no sitting president who lost an election has tried to hang onto power by rejecting the Electoral College and subverting the will of the voters — until now. It is a scenario at once utterly unthinkable and yet feared since the beginning of Mr. Trump’s tenure.
“That he is almost certain to fail does not mitigate the damage he is doing to democracy by undermining public faith in the electoral system.”
HE IS A CREEP AND WILL SO BE SEEN BY HISTORIANS.
This Is the Cost of a Failed Impeachment
2:55 pm
David Graham: “The moral hazard of the Republican stance on the Ukraine plot was clear. If Trump got away with extorting Ukraine and trying to rig the election process in his favor, he’d take the lesson that he could continue his brazen interference in elections without consequence. The only remaining check on him would be the voters—and he was looking for ways to juke them, too.
“Reaching this conclusion didn’t require clairvoyance, because Trump was open about it even amid impeachment. As he stood accused of privately pressuring Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden, he publicly asked China to do so. He continued his pressure play on Ukraine, too, though it never came to anything.
“Trump quickly proved me right. He began pushing out officials who had testified in the impeachment inquiry. In May, he tried to extort election-procedure changes from Democratic-led states. The post-election moves, and especially the coup call, are the most brazen and direct echo of the Ukraine plot, and they show why acquittal was so dangerous to the republic.”

“President Trump’s call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger represents a new low in this whole futile and sorry episode.”

A new poll for a GOP super PAC in Georgia:
Jon Ossoff 46%,
David Perdue 45%

For comparison, here’s FiveThirtyEight polling average:
Ossoff 49.3%,
Perdue 47.9%
Warnock 49.6%,
Loeffler 47.6%
Warnock is by far the worst of the four. No way he's leading.

You hear the word “radical” a lot these days. It’s usually aimed like a lethal weapon at Democratic office-seekers, especially those who want to unseat a Republican incumbent. Sen. Kelly Loeffler, the Georgia Republican, rarely utters her challenger’s name without branding him as “radical liberal Raphael Warnock.”
Such is the upside-down world we’ve come to inhabit. These days, the true radicals are the enablers of President Trump’s ongoing attempted coup: the media bloviators on Fox News, One America and Newsmax who parrot his lies about election fraud; and the members of Congress who plan to object on Wednesday to what should be a pro forma step of approving the electoral college results, so that President-elect Joe Biden can take office peacefully on Jan. 20.
But instead of being called what they are, these media and political figures get a mild label: conservative.
News outlets that traffic in conspiracy theories? They’re branded as “conservative.” Politicians who are willing to bring down democracy to appease a cult leader? (“Acting on the basis either of fear of the president or sheer political opportunism,” as The Post’s Dan Balz explained.) Just a bloc of “conservatives.”
As the Hill put it in a typical headline Monday: “Cotton breaks with conservative colleagues who will oppose electoral vote.”
In applying this innocuous-sounding description, the reality-based media does the public a terrible disservice. Instead of calling out the truth, it normalizes; it softens the dangerous edges.
It makes it seem, well, not so bad. Conservative, after all, describes politics devoted to free enterprise and traditional ideas.
But that’s simply false. Sean Hannity is not conservative. Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri and Sen. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama are not conservative. Nor are the other 10 (at last count) senators who plan to object.
Senate republicans to challenge Biden's victory

“There is nothing conservative about subverting democracy,” wrote Tim Alberta, the author and Politico correspondent. He suggests “far right” as an alternative descriptor.

“We invited each of the 12 senators involved in plotting this disgraceful effort to come on the show this morning, to try to defend and explain their position. Supporting Trump Was Always an Attack on Democracy
5:56 pm
Jonathan Chait:
“Trump has spent his entire presidency battering away at democratic norms.
He has been previewing his intention to deny the legitimacy of the election since before the 2016 election, which he relentlessly dismissed as rigged.
He has been hinting at his intention to stay in office beyond his constitutionally allotted term since at least 2019, when he began saying ‘the people’ would ‘demand’ he stay in office ‘longer’ than eight years.
“To support Trump’s reelection was always to endorse an attack on democracy. The chief divide between the party was between those Republicans who denied Trump’s clearly signaled intent to attack the democratic system, and those who reveled in it.”
Why the Private Call with Trump Was Released
4:35 pm
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) told WATL that he considered his phone call with President Trump to be a “private conversation” and would not have shared details of it if the president had not sent a false tweet about it.
Said Raffensperger: “If President Trump wouldn’t have tweeted out anything and would’ve stayed silent, we would’ve stayed silent as well.
If you’re going to put out stuff that we don’t believe is true, then we will respond in kind.”

Why Is It So Hard to Find ‘Actual Proof’ of Fraud?

Lou Dobbs on his Fox Business show:
“We’re eight weeks from the election, and we still don’t have verifiable, tangible support for the crimes that everyone knows were committed — that is, defrauding other citizens who voted with fraudulent votes. We know that’s the case in Nevada, we know it’s the case in Pennsylvania and a number of other states, but we have had a devil of a time finding actual proof. Why?”
