Many say that Kamala Harris will be impeached if Republicans take the House in 2022...

In fact, many argue that it would almost impossible not to?

Now that Democrats have set the precedent that politicians who support rioters should be impeached, I guess there will be a long line forming of liberals who fit that bill. First up on the list would be Vice President Kamala Harris.

After all Kamala not only encourages protests and riots over the summer, but she used her power as a high profile Senator to set up a fund to bail out rioters who were arrested. All it would take is evidence that even one of those people took back to the streets for some follow up law breaking for there to show that her violations would actually be worse than anything Trump is accused of.

So do I "personally" think Harris should be impeached? Nope. I think it's unfortunate that Harris supported and even egged on the rioters over the summer. I think it's horrific that she set up funds to bail out rioters. I thought it was disgusting when she sat at the bedside of woman beater, and known felon Jacob Blame, and told him she was proud of him for digitally penetrating his ex-girl friend before pulling a knife on police officers.

I think she is a vile creature for her blatant support for lawlessness, criminals, and low lives, all under the pretense of sucking up to the black community. But under the constitution she is allowed to have her opinions, to suggest that rioting is good, to believe that women beaters are good people.

More to the point, apparently this is the opinion of most liberals as well. By voting Harris into office, liberals suggested that they are okay with men who violate orders of protection and assault their ex-girlfriends, and are okay with violence and destruction committed by anarchists and felons. As long as those criminals are either black or are supporting a black cause, the crimes are justified in the liberal mind.

I find those beliefs pretty much indefensible and I do believe that had people like Harris condemned the violence from the get go, that we might have had a more peaceful 2020. In fact, I believe we probably wouldn't have even seen a capital building riot had riots in general been subdued. But ultimately there is no "crime" in being a stupid person who encourages violence in the name of politics. If there was, half of the Democrats in power would be in jail right now.

AND MITCH McCONNELL, STRIVING TO SAVE THE GOP FROM ITS WORST ELEMENTS, IS WIDELY OPENING THE DOOR TO THAT!

Even if he did, President Biden would not incite an Insurrection in the Capitol building and hang Kamala Harris.

My own comment already made earlier this morning.
It bears repeating:

Scott, what upsets you about McConnell's statement is the fact that he is being honest, and you are not. Your words to the effect that McConnell has damaged himself with both Republicans and Democrats show that with you it has all become mere political calculation, not a search for the truth. The truth, McConnell admits (in spite of his weak technical argument against impeaching and convicting a President who is no longer in office) is that Trump is guilty as hell and can still be held accountable in the courts, as a private, unprotected citizen.

Not that McConnell is not being his usual calculating self. It is just that he has become aware that Trump is such damaged goods, his out and out lying so obvious, that if the GOP continues to saddle itself with having to defend what is not defendable, it will sink itself.

At least he has the honesty to see and admit that. You don't.

I know you appreciate my candor.
You're welcome. :-)

Sorry Reverend...

On whether or not Trump can be held liable in an actual court, McConnell is wrong. The case law as ruled on by the United States Supreme Court trumps what the Senate Minority leader believes. Every legal expert I follow agrees.

McConnell might be both wrong "and" honest. But he is still wrong. Flat out 100% factually unequivocally and undeniably wrong. He may "believe" what he says or it could be 100% a political calculation. I don't know or care.

But make no mistake. He is wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

But I stand 100% on what I wrote about McConnell. Nothing I wrote is untrue.

Jacob Blake violated a restraining order. Went to his old girlfriend's house. Digitally penetrated her. Smelled his finger and told her that she smelled like she had been with other men. He then took her keys to her SUV and one of her credit cards and attempted to leave.

When he was met by the police, he assaulted them, pulled a knife on them, and claimed he had a gun in the car, and then attempted to get into a vehicle that was not his and either retrieve a gun or drive away.

Kamala Harris sat at his hospital bedside after he was shot in the altercation and told him she was proud of him.

Are you disagreeing with those facts, Roger?
Or do you disagree with me thinking she is wrong?

Or are you only capable of calling people names.

A solid majority of 58 percent of American voters say former president Donald Trump should have been banned from seeking public office ever again, according to the latest Morning Consult poll. And 54 percent say he should have been convicted in the U.S. Senate on the House’s charge that he incited an insurrection.

Majority support for Trump’s conviction has not wavered in the weeks since the Jan. 6 Capitol riot that sparked his second impeachment.

Still, 39 percent of voters say they would disapprove of Trump’s conviction, and roughly 3 in 4 Republicans said Trump should not be convicted or be barred from running for elected office in the future.

The Republicans will join the Whigs in history unless you divorce from Trump

Autonomous Zones - sedition by definition, directly attacked and encouraged by Cum-Allah.

so yeah alky. yes she did. repeatedly.

If it was wrong to convict Trump after he left office, it would be wrong to go after Kamala Harris for something she did before she took office. If Biden, Harris, or anyone else in Biden’s re-Bama administration is impeached, it should be for something they did while in office.

Even more important is that the two Trump impeachments, along with the Russia hoax, proved only one thing. The Democrats care more about their party than they care about the country. They hate Donald Trump and the Republicans more than they love America. Just look at how Nancy Pelosi held up a COVID relief bill until Trump lost the election, or how Schumer slow-walked the Trump cabinet picks, and neither wanted to discuss Trump’s offer to accept the “dreamers” if they would accept the southern border wall. Their first priority was to prevent President Trump from having a victory–the U.S. was last.

If the GOP does what Graham suggests, try to impeach Kamala Harris for urging people to donate to a charity, albeit a charity whose I vehemently disagree with, then the GOP would be just as bad as the liberal democrats.

In the twenty-two mid-term elections since FDR’s first term, the president’s party lost an average of 28 seats. As the Democrats have a small nine-seat advantage today, there is a good chance the GOP will retake the House in 2022. If they do take the house, it is crucial that they spend their time trying to fix the country’s issues–not waste their time on impeachment–even if they regain the Senate also, which is not as likely as the House.

That’s not to say if someone commits high crimes and misdemeanors, there should not be an impeachment–but only if it is real, no more wasting time to make a political statement.  No one votes a Republican to play the “you did it, so I will also” game. The best way to get “impeachment revenge” is to block Joe Biden’s extreme left-wing policies and implement conservative ones. In other words, care more about America’s future than bashing the competition–that’s a liberal game.

No, she did not sit at his bedside. She visited his family, but she spoke to him only on the phone. And her remark about being proud of him had more to do with how bravely he was dealing with being paralyzed from the waist down after being shot multiple times in the back by a policeman.

Also, he has not been charged with assault.

Snopes fact check:
Did Kamala Harris Tell Jacob Blake She Was ‘Proud of Him’?

A fare more important thing. A path forward. We can learn from the past.

Back during the New Deal, people said to President Roosevelt that the minimum wage was going to break to the country. You know what Roosevelt said to them? He said any business that doesn’t want to pay people the minimum wage does not belong in America. He said you don’t have a right to exist in this country if you don’t want to pay people a basic minimum wage.

Fifty-seven years ago, Martin Luther King Jr. called for a $2 an hour minimum wage, which would be over $15 today. A few weeks ago, all the politicians were saying, let’s follow Dr. King. Let’s hear Dr. King’s message of love. Well you can’t hear the message of love without hearing the love and the justice connected together. To go backwards on this would be morally indefensible, constitutionally inconsistent and economically insane.

We cannot address racial equity if we do not address the minimum wage of $15. There’s no such thing as racial equity when you just address police reform and prisons but you don’t address the issue of economic justice. And if you address economic justice, guess what? It helps Black people, and white people, and brown people, and Latino people. It helps everybody. Everybody in, nobody out.

On one side are Cheney, Romney, and a band of real Republicans, such as Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska).

Murkowski says she wants no part of the party of Trump — “I’m looking for the Republican Party.”

Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), also in flight from the madhouse, says the idea of the GOP as a “cult of personality” built around Trump is simply not “a good durable model for the future.”

Let’s call this group “Team Reality.”

On the other side of this fight are Republicans like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (Q-Ga.), Sen. Ted Cruz (Q-Texas) and Sen. Josh Hawley (Q-Mo.).

If Blake was shot repeatedly and unnecessarily in the back and is speaking up bravely and without hatred, I think one should be at least somewhat proud of him for that.

Article:
Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris spoke with Jacob Blake on Monday, telling the 29-year-old who was shot in the back by Kenosha, Wis. police that she was proud of him.

Blake “told Sen. Harris that he was proud of her, and the senator told Jacob that she was also proud of him and how he is working through his pain,” lawyer Ben Crump said in a statement.

Harris spoke with Blake, who is in the hospital with massive internal injuries and is paralyzed below the waist after the shooting, via phone while meeting with some of his family in the airport after she landed...

Harris called the meeting “really wonderful” saying, “I mean they’re an incredible family and what they’ve endured and they do it with such dignity and grace. And you know, they’re carrying the weight of a lot of voices on their shoulders.”

Asked by reporters about a message, Harris said, “Just to, one, to express concern for their well-being and of course, for their brother and their son’s well being and to let them know that they have support.”

In a CNN interview later Monday, lawyer B’Ivory LaMarr said Harris spoke “almost as a family member” who was “essentially counseling the family on grief and how to deal with these things and providing a good outlook to our community.”
