Lynch meets with Bill Clinton...

Lynch and Bill Clinton meet on a plane.
Try to hide meeting from the media
.

 Then coincidentally:
Department of Justice officials filed a motion in federal court late Wednesday seeking a 27-month delay in producing correspondence between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s four top aides and officials with the Clinton Foundation and Teneo Holdings, a closely allied public relations firm that Bill Clinton helped launch.
To be clear, there is a court order that requires this information to be turned over by July 21st or in approximately three weeks. The Justice Department is asking for a 27 month delay? Seriously?

We can speculate all day long whether or not one thing had anything to do with the other. I am not much into conspiracy theories, but this one comes a little too wrapped up in a bow for me. Is it far fetched to ask the hypothetical question as to whether or not there is damaging emails in these correspondences?

Considering Clinton agreed (to the President) not to have any form of interaction between her duties of Secretary of State, and her interests in the Foundation, is there actually a "good" reason why four top aides to the Secretary of State would be creating any correspondence with the Clinton Foundation in the first place? If someone can think of a good reason, please feel free to elaborate.

Meanwhile, I would also ask if anyone can come up with a good reason why the Attorney General would meet with the Husband of someone who is under criminal investigation by the FBI? A case that the Attorney General is ultimately overseeing? This seriously looks like a combination of the two of them both lacking integrity and common sense.

Crooked Hillary and Bill

Bill just happened across the private jet of the AG in AZ , they had a very private meeting, what was said, only those two know. The AG has lied to us about what was said, they never ever talked about the Pending FBI Criminal Investigation of Crooked Hillary, oh no.

BS

I posted that on another thread.

It smells like Clinton.

Andrea Mitchell of NBC swallowed the Clinton spin hook, line, and sinker.

Like every other Clinton scandal, the main stream media will bury this also.

i think MSDNC's morning joKe feigned a little bit of phony outrage to provide cover to the rest of the state run media to not report on it.

Surprise, surprise! Electoral-vote.com doesn't see this quite the way Ch does, though they do accuse Bill C. of being uncharacteristically tone death politically in having the brief encounter.

Was it really "on the plane," Ch, or a short conversation "on the tarmac"?

Lynch said the meeting was not planned and occurred when Clinton made a surprise visit to her plane on the tarmac at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. (wash post)

Attorney General Loretta Lynch described her Monday meeting with Bill Clinton aboard a private plane. (politico)

Both the Clinton plane and the AG's plane coincidentally just happened to be at the tarmac at the same time. Reports were that Clinton boarded her plane, which is where they held their meeting.

James - hokey and dokey over at electoral-vote.com saw it exactly the way they were told by the Clinton talking points memo to see it. I don't even have to read what they had to say, to know what they had to say.

There was no overtly legitimate reason for the secret meeting, and there are so many downsides to it - not the least of them, the politically poor judgment and the clear appearance of impropriety - that we have no choice but to accept that both Lynch and Clinton had some compelling reason for it which hasn't been disclosed.

It is extremely unlikely that it was simply a social meeting. No one, not even Lynch, would accept the risk and certain damage to her career and reputation just to be polite.

The electoral-vote piece on the meeting on the tarmac criticized Bill Clinton for being politically tone death in even having the meeting, even if it was entirely innocent.

But you knew that without reading it, eh?

Let me ask you something, Ch. Republican strategists as well as Democratic strategists are scratching their heads over the fact that Pennsylvania is about the only traditionally Dem state where Trump has at least SOME chance for a much-needed, even essential, victory, and yet Trump does not have anything remotely resembling a real ground presence there.

Some are wondering if he really doesn't WANT to be President, but has done all this simply for self aggrandizement. Possible?

C.H. Truth said...

James - Donald Trump spent way less, self funded his primary campaign, and managed a staff about a tenth of the size of the other candidates. He won going away. Right, wrong, or indifferent... Trump feels he can win with a less conventional ground game.

In fact, he has been playing it out as if it's an advantage. Shows that he can streamline bureaucracy and show frugality, while his opponent relies on raising hundreds of millions from people she is now embolden to... in order to run a traditional bulky clumsy campaign

Do I think it's a "good" strategy? Not really, but Trump has proven us all wrong in the past.

Do I believe that the traditional "ground" game is overrated in the year 2016? Absolutely. Candidates have been complaining about the diminishing returns on this sort of thing for several election cycles.

But it still has it's place. If this election ends up with a razor thin margin, I think the infrastructure and early advertising could be the difference maker.

Jane

Yep because that is the issue, does it bother you Jane that they met, while his wife is under Criminal Investigation , one in which would sink any Republican, but not a immoral asshat like Crooked Hillary.

Former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton is scheduled to meet Saturday with the FBI, a source close to the investigation into her private email server tells The Daily Caller.

The source went on to suggest the interview may take place at her Washington, D.C. home.

The bureau’s interview with the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee is believed to be the final step in its investigation into the potential mishandling of classified information on Clinton’s private email server.

Hundreds of now-classified documents — some of them “Top Secret” — were sent and received through Clinton’s private server, which she housed at her New York residence during her tenure at the State Department.
