I endorse Keith Ellison for DNC Chair !!!

Keith Ellison, with his past association with the Muslim Brotherhood, Vice Lords, Shariff Willis, Kathleen Soliah, and Sara Jane Olson (among others) is the perfect fit for today's Democratic Party. His suggestion that the FBI conspired to kill Louis Farrakhan, will fit in nicely with the suggestion that the FBI also conspired to prevent the election of Hillary Clinton.  His antisemitism (once calling Jews the world's most racist white people) is also something that will be welcomed into the new Democratic coalition of intolerance.

A man who represents the values of the Democratic Party

Lastly, the man who has deemed himself over the years as Keith Hakim, Keith X Ellison, and Keith Ellison-Muhammad and now just plain Keith Ellison will be perfect for a Party who has no clue who they are.

Other than posting articles which are worthy of reading to try to gather facts, I have been withholding analysis of the election for several reasons, primarily that many women and the vulnerable in our society are feeling both hurt and rejected by the recent election. I think we need to respect and honor their fear, anxiety and pain, and allow them time to heal. Hearing critical analysis right now, when one feels deeply wounded, is actually cruel when one's nerves are most raw and exposed.
Women believed that for the first time, a woman might become president, and they projected a lot of their aspirations onto Hillary Clinton. I voted for Hillary Clinton in the general election to honor my female friends and their long-deserved aspirations. As a good friend of mine said, the reaction to Hillary Clinton represented the double bind that strong women are placed in. If women are nurturing, they are criticized as being too soft and incapable of leading, but if women project the male version of strength, they are criticized for not being nurturing enough, or being shrill or a "bitch" or untrustworthy. If you are a woman, how do you walk that razor's edge to assume roles in society that you are probably over-qualified to perform?
As a father of five daughters, I want them to have every role in society available to them if they desire it, and equal opportunity to play those roles. Today, I want to honor them and the women of America. The aspirations of women were only rejected by the electoral system, but notably honored by the popular vote. Women came that close to succeeding, and I hope that the day will come soon when we have a woman president. It is overdue .

Then you would support Sarah Palin?

Or maybe you're just posturing.

Go Keith!!! Go!!!

I want someone with a functioning brain. Palin is missing that.

McCain picking her was one of the major reasons he picked her.

I voted against her because she has been a polarizing figure who was objectively unsuccessful in pretty much all of her Governing endeavors.

"Nurturing" or "projecting strength" is a false dichotomy. The failed candidate could be described in a lot of ways, but probably not like either of those two. She lost due to character defects that have been in the public eye for far too long, and to the readily apparent consequences of those defects.

It's time to "get over it" and "just move on". Spinning the defeat is pointless because Americans already know why they voted against her. The only purpose it could serve now is keeping the mega-donors on the hook. Large corporations, billionaires, foreign interests. Do we really want to facilitate that now?

CH, who do YOU think the Democrats should elect to the DNC Chair, choosing from the current party leaders and those still somewhat active?

Maybe Dean isn't such a bad choice.

Myballs said...

No doubt it'll be a minority

Commonsense said...

They already have Donna Brazile, she's a minority, a woman, and she's already corrupted CNN.

michael moore, joy behar, ralph maddow, chris cuomo...

you did say party leaders.

actually, how about 0bama? he's lost every election where he hasn't been on the ballot, so he seems to be the obvious choice.

so you voted for her because she squats to pee.

what a shallow, pointless and idiotic reason to vote for a candidate.

I would love for him to get the job.

Republicans Own the White House
The US Senate
The US House
34 of the 57 Govenorships

The Left will never admit the reason they keep losing it we the Workers that Voted in Trump are tired of the Interloper Class in the USA.

Four letter word to all Liberals = Work

Get a job, get off the couch and out of your parents basement.

HB, your article was from yet another low life no body with an axe to grind showing again that you nor him understand the US Constitution.

OH, for those of you that might have missed the following two items, here they are:

1, HB is leaving the USA , no date set, but soon.

2, Nancy Polosy in a bid to keep her minority leadershit role for the losers has put in a bill to changed the US Constitution, yep, she want the Electoral College to go away.

FBI still has a criminal probe on going on BleachBitch, she is going to be racking up legal bills for some time and with her Foreign investors money drying up , well, time to write that book, working title "How I blew a Sure thing".

Just think , this time last week we were told she was going to not only win, but, in a landslide, like no one has ever won, and we were told that she would have coat tails so long that the US Senate would be hers the US House would be HERS and Govenorships would turn to Dems to get us out of this economic shit hole.

Only one problem , WE the People are STRONGER TOGETHER and voted against a third term of Obama and in turn rejected this horrid woman.

Well WP, of the two of them, Howard Dean has some experience and arguably some success at the position. I don't see how Ellison does anything "other" than double down on what many see as one of the many current "problems" of the Democratic Party...

If you are a white working class voter, who up until recently tended to vote Democratic, but feel like the Party has left you out of their priorities recently and flipped over to Trump (and the GOP).

I think watching the Democrats putting a Muslim Brotherhood Vice Lord supporting Black Muslim in a high ranking power position sort of reinforces those beliefs. I think it would be much more "tone deaf" than Donald Trump keeping Steve Bannon in his inner circle.

“To acknowledge the fundamental injustice, cruelty, brutality, and inhumanity of slavery in the United States and the 13 American colonies between 1619 and 1865 and to establish a commission to examine the institution of slavery, subsequently de jure and de facto racial and economic discrimination against African-Americans, and the impact of these forces on living African-Americans, to make recommendations to the Congress on appropriate remedies, and for other purposes.”

Yes, I think we need to study reparations. When there’s injury there should be redress, right?” Ellison said. “We have to go through the work to figure out what reparations is, that’s what I’m arguing for. I think it would be an important journey for our nation. Bottom line: We’re all Americans today, but you can’t heal a dirty wound, you have to clean it out first.”
