In the latest attempt, the joint effort of the Hawaii District and 9th circuit apparently wanted to suggest that being a refugee who had contacted an American refugee agency had to legally be considered to have a bona-fide relationship to the United States, and therefor was immune to the Trump travel ban.
The USSC (with the paragraph long decision written by Justice Kennedy) disagreed, and offered another stay in favor of the White House. It appears that the Thomas block was absolutely correct in their assumption that the USSC leaving even the slightest bit of wiggle room, would guarantee that the crazies would continue to toss whatever it is that they could find at the wall, hoping something would stick. One has to wonder what it next?

The U.S. Supreme Court will temporarily allow the Trump administration to block many refugees from six mostly Muslim countries without direct familial ties in the United States from entering this country.
In a brief order issued Monday, Justice Anthony Kennedy delayed implementation of a ruling issued by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals last week that would have allowed entry to refugees with formal ties to resettlement agencies here.
Kennedy put that ruling on hold until lawyers opposing the travel ban can file their response to the administration's motion by noon Tuesday.
The action comes after an emergency request to set aside the appeals court ruling from the Trump administration which is seeking to enact the broadest travel ban possible before the full Supreme Court hears arguments on its constitutionality on October 10.
The appeals court also had ruled that grandparents and other relatives of people already living in the U.S. cannot be barred entrance under the president's travel ban. Lawyers for the Justice Department did not challenge that part of the ruling.

Kennedy's ruling Monday is the latest in the see-saw legal battle over the Trump administration's effort to block entry to travelers and refugees from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
In June, the Supreme Court partially backed the travel ban but said the administration could not bar people with "a credible claim of a bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States." The high court did not define what it meant by a "bona fide relationship."
The administration initially allowed entry to parents, children, spouses, siblings and in-laws. But it excluded grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins from its interpretation of that ruling. The administration also excluded some 24,000 refugees with ties to resettlement agencies.
In July, the justices sided with a lower court ruling that grandparents and cousins of a person in the U.S. fit the definition of a close relationship. But they disagreed with the lower court which also ruled in favor refugees "with formal assurances" from a U.S. resettlement agency. The justices sent the case back to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for further consideration, setting the stage for last week's ruling.
The final decision is not pre-determined.

I have assumed regular trips to the gym again. Recovery from major surgery like a liver transplant is not an instant recovery. My mobility is about 90% recovered. If you saw me workout in the gym you would be let's put it this way, impressed that this guy that just three months out of major surgery is performing at this level.
I have not suffered any brain damaged sorry Loretta but you have to believe it what you want because the truth is always something you do not grasp. I say that you have Alzheimer's disease. Because you constantly repeat yourself Time After Time After Time After Time After Time. And it's almost all you do that's not a normal stable behavior on any level. One of my sisters is in an institution with something like that. Very sad case. She married an alcoholic when she was like 18 years old. I didn't know that at the time he was Gordon was his name and he was good with kids. He took me and my brother fishing spend a lot of time with us she taught us how to shoot a gun. I was a very good shot by the way. But then 20 years into the marriage she after we'd attended a movie, we all had a couple drinks. And then my sister started break into tears. I didn't know why. But then it came out. Gordon had been physically and mentally abusive to her from basically day one of their marriage.
I have said this before but I'm going to repeat it one more time. My brother Jon and I Turk Gordon over to the local bowling alley where they had a nice bar. We sitting there sipping are Budweiser and I look Gordon in the eye and said and I quote. Gordon if you ever touch my sister again I'm going to kill you. The conversation came to an end and we went home. A few weeks later they filed for divorce.
Gordon got married twice after that the first one understood what was going on and dumped him within weeks I think just a few months. Gordon went back to Wisconsin and found his high school girlfriend. He brought her back to Rapid City and in a drunken rage shot and killed her. He died in prison and nobody mourned his death.
