Thanksgiving Black Friday - Online sales up 18%

While in store sales appeared to be flat (or off by around 1%) Black Friday saw a huge increase in on-line sales. Just another one of those economic deals where people will give the President credit only because he sits in the oval office.

The economy has nothing to do with Trump?

U.S. retailers raked in a record $7.9 billion in online sales on Black Friday and Thanksgiving, up 17.9 percent from a year ago, according to Adobe Analytics, which measures transactions at the largest 100 U.S. web retailers, on Saturday.
Retail research firm ShopperTrak said store traffic fell less than 1 percent on Black Friday, bucking industry predictions of a sharper decline.

At the start of the recession in December 2007, the unemployment rate was 5 percent; by October 2009 it had reached a peak of 10 percent. Naturally, revenue from individual income taxes declined as many Americans were out of work.

The Hill

I think that the President is going to be an anchor to the Republicans across the country. I will stick my neck out and say that Moore will fade into a bookmark in the history of the United States after his defeat.

The President is the least popular in the history of polling. He's also seen as unequaled to hold the office by almost all Democrats, about 65% of independents and even 20% of Republicans.

-------

Republicans head into the holiday season with a daunting number hanging over their heads - 10.7 percent.

Democrats lead their Republican rivals by 10.7 percent on the generic congressional ballot, according to the most recent RealClearPolitics average of available polling data. That mark is the highest that average has gone since just before the 2010 elections, where Republicans netted 63 House seats.

It's a gloomy sign for Republicans, and one that dovetails with President Trump's sagging approval rating to boost Democratic optimism about taking the House and raises questions about whether Republicans will be able to take advantage of Democratic weakness on the Senate map.

"It's always stupid to make firm predictions in anything, whether it be politics or the Super Bowl. But it seems clear we are heading in a bad direction" said former Republican National Committee spokesman Doug Heye.

----
The woman's voters will overwhelmingly reject his party and lead to a massive change in the political atmosphere

"What we've seen so far this year that the constant is massive Trump unpopularity, a growing unpopularity, and we are starting to see that electorally. Knowing there's never going to be a Donald Trump pivot in any sense, what would tell us that anything in this midterm is different?"

Democrats are pointing to victories in the off-year elections earlier this month as a promising sign for 2018. The Senatorical map looks difficult, but the President is the least qualified and is the most bizarre political presence in history. He's going to change history, but not in the way most here will not like.

What it’s time to do is make American businesses competitive globally so our economy can grow. And again, the stat that I just told you about. . . . Revenues increased to the federal government by $1.2 trillion per year even with the meager economic growth we’ve had since 2009.”

But the truth is that the Trump family will gets a $1,000,000,000 tax break.

according to a survey of economists by the University of Chicago’s Initiative on Global Markets, 37 out of 38 of economists agree the GOP tax plan would cause the U.S. debt to increase far faster than the economy. (The 38th economist later said he misread the question and actually agrees with the other 37.) In addition, the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center found that even after taking economic growth into consideration, the House GOP tax bill would increase the debt by $1.3 trillion over a decade.

MAGAPILL is here to ensure that President Trump’s Legacy is properly documented. It’s been recently reported that 95% of the News Media’s coverage of Trump is Negative, while only 5% is positive. This is the definition of an unfair bias and one of the main reasons why everyday American’s confidence in the “Main Stream” media is at an all time low.

MAGAPILL was created to capture that 5% of positive Trump news coverage that gets blown off the headlines by the bias news coverage. In that 5% of news that the media is forced to cover for documentation purposes contains what we voted for. For some reason, nobody in the Media, Congress or the Republican party seem to want to portray an image of President Trump actually succeeding.

MAGAPILL was created as a beacon of light, a monument and a testament to all that President Trump has achieved toward the agenda we voted for. The American people are watching and they see that President Trump is keeping his promises. He is doing as much as he can to move our agenda forward despite ‘the swamp‘ fighting us every step of the way and in the end we will prevail. Donald Trump is the fire that reignited the passion in a lot of people who had thought the America was lost forever.

Regardless of how much Trump gets accomplished he is paving the way toward a new direction for America. A direction of prosperity and the American dream. The Trump movement or those who believe in Trumpism will keep electing candidates who will continue our movement and pass our agenda.

The establishment media and the swamp believe that when Trump’s no longer in office, we will all go away. This couldn’t be further from the truth.

President Donald Trump is only the beginning.

This will be a major source K'putz will steal.

In 2010, the GDP growth rate was 2.5 percent. This estimate has remained unchanged since the 2013 revision. It is higher than the 2012 revision of 2.4 percent, but significantly lower than the 2011 estimate of 3.0 percent and the 2010 estimate of 2.8 percent. Trump has lost the Daily News......today's opinion.....

The U.S. Senate is set to vote this week on a $1.5 trillion tax cut package. Though different in many respects from the House-passed measure, this is an equally disastrous bill that gives the lion’s share of benefits to the wealthiest Americans, balloons the deficit — and wages economic war on states like New York.

Senate Republicans insist that the overhaul will pay for itself by goosing growth. That is, how shall we put it, a lie.

Conservatives, claiming that typical attempts to calculate the impact of tax cuts fail to take into account the economic growth they cause, demand what’s known as “dynamic scoring.” But even under one such model — the Penn Wharton Budget Model at the University of Pennsylvania — the Senate bill would grow the economy by 0.3% to 0.8%, while causing a drop in revenues of $1.3 trillion to $1.5 trillion . Oops.

Some of that is because the legislation is built on a bait-and-switch. Republicans insist that they’re delivering most Americans a tax cut — but by design, more than 50% of taxpayers are set to see a tax hike in 10 years as individual tax cuts expire while corporate taxes remain permanent.

And, to add insult to injury, the Senate is baking in a revocation of the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate, which would cause 13 million Americans to lose their health insurance — an action that will also cause premiums to soar, likely undermining the impact of whatever meager tax cut those in the middle class might receive.

At the state level, the fiscal havoc will be even harsher, as the Senate bill takes a meat cleaver to New Yorkers’ ability to deduct state and local tax bills on their federal returns. That will cost families from Brooklyn to the Bronx to Buffalo many billions.

According to a new analysis from the Tax Policy Center, the Senate bill gives more than 60% of its benefits to the top 1% of taxpayers. Those in the top 0.1% of incomes are set to get 40% of all cuts.

By any sane analysis, this is an unfair, unconscionable monstrosity. And it has a real chance of passing. Be very, very afraid.

Just one more way to annoy Mrs. Alzheimer's disease.

President Steve Bannon is starting to get on Donald Trump’s nerves. In the first two weeks of Trump’s presidency, many have speculated that Steve Bannon, the former Breitbart chief, is the one calling the shots in the White House. The numerous executive orders signed by Trump fit neatly into Bannon’s white nationalist agenda; their poor execution signal that a government novice is pulling the strings; and Bannon’s unconventional (and possibly illegal) appointment to the National Security Council suggests that he, more than anyone, holds Trump’s ear.

Last night, The New York Times published a piece that said as much. According to the Times, upon entering the White House, Bannon “rushed into the vacuum, telling allies that he and [adivsr Stephen] Miller have a brief window in which to push through their vision of Mr. Trump’s economic nationalism.” But with protests erupting around the country, and headlines shouting that Bannon is the power behind the throne, it seems like Trump is starting to get annoyed with his racist Wormtongue. While Bannon remains Trump’s “dominant adviser,” Trump is angry that he treated him like a human fountain pen, sneaking his way into the National Security Council through an executive order that Trump apparently didn’t read. And Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, who seems to have been muscled out by Bannon, has regained some control, instituting a “10-point checklist” before any new initiatives are rolled out.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court, which has avoided major gun cases for seven years, on Monday declined to hear a challenge backed by the National Rifle Association to Maryland's 2013 state ban on assault weapons enacted after a Connecticut school massacre.

The court turned away an appeal by several Maryland residents, firearms dealers and the state NRA association, who argued that the ban violated their right to keep and bear arms under the U.S. Constitution's Second Amendment.

The justices sidestepped the roiling national debate over the availability of military-style guns to the public.

The case focused on weapons that have become a recurring feature in U.S. mass shootings including the Nov. 5 attack at a Texas church that killed 26 people, the Oct. 1 attack at a Las Vegas concert that killed 58 people, and the 2012 massacre of 20 schoolchildren and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, which prompted Maryland's law.

Assault weapons are popular among gun enthusiasts.

The challengers, who had sued Maryland's governor and other officials in 2013, appealed a February ruling by the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia that upheld the state's law. The 4th Circuit, ruling 10-4, said it had no power to extend constitutional protections to "weapons of war."

only you and other lowly shitstains who practice identity politics noticed, alky.

and those three nitwit thieves should've been allowed to languish in a chinese prison for a decade or so. then their loudmouth ungrateful father could've hopped a plane a couple times a year to visit. that would've given him PLENTY to complain about.

Has anyone noticed that the when the President gets into disputes with the NFL and the NBA and the students stupidly shoplifting in China, one of the father dared to disagree with The President, are almost exclusively African-Americans. He's keeping his base, rrb and his fellow racists happy.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar apparently has less of a problem with shoplifting than he does with conspicuous consumption. During a recent appearance on FOX Sports 1’s “The Herd with Colin Cowherd,” the UCLA Bruins, Los Angeles Lakers and all-around NBA legend ripped LiAngelo Ball for driving a Ferrari—which LaVar Ball bought him once upon a time—around the Westwood campus. “This is disgusting. I don’t like that,” the former Lew Alcindor said. “It sets a bad precedent for what the school is supposed to be about and what our basketball program is supposed to be about.”

I didn't take my thoughts on the racist comments by the President. I had been noticing that they were almost exclusively African American. The racist rodent bigot doesn't have any original thoughts, so he makes another insult.
