The House of Representatives overwhelmingly rejected an attempt to impeach President Trump after a liberal Texas congressman forced a vote on his effort. Democratic Rep. Al Green, who has repeatedly called for the president's removal, introduced two articles of impeachment against Trump on Wednesday. But lawmakers immediately voted to effectively kill his resolution, with 364 voting to table it and 58 Democrats voting to move ahead.

And the next time this is brought up, the vote will be... And the time after that, the vote with be... and the time after that, the vote will ....
Lol , election 2018 Democrat bumper sticker.
"Vote for me, I HATE TRUMP".
That would be a winner. Thanks for the idea.
Reminds me of the Clinton impeachment.
Every step of the way more people supported him.
Same thing will happen to Trump
You're welcome
Exactly, I was a very passive vote. More against Hillary then for Trump.
She called his US Army Veteran a "Dispicable".
Now, because of the left still butt hyrt, I am so voting Trump 2020.
Bet you some Dems where thrilled about taking this vote.
The symbolic vote had been expected to fail in the Republican-controlled House. It put some lawmakers in competitive districts in a tough spot by forcing them on the record about impeachment.
Say goodbye to those Dem swing districts.
And the next time this is brought up, the vote will be.
That's right James just keep forcing Dems to vote on looney-tune impeachment resolutions.
If I were Ryan, I would allow them to come to the floor at least once a month from now until election-day.

shit, i'd hold the vote each morning right after the pledge of allegiance.
THIS MAY GET BIGGER AND BIGGER AND BIGGER
Flynn Said Russian Sanctions Would Be ‘Ripped Up’
Former national security adviser Michael Flynn told a former business associate that economic sanctions against Russia would be “ripped up” as one of the Trump administration’s first acts, the New York Times reports.
“Mr. Flynn believed that ending the sanctions could allow a business project he had once participated in to move forward… The account is the strongest evidence to date that the Trump administration wanted to end the sanctions immediately, and suggests that Mr. Flynn had a possible economic incentive for the United States to forge a closer relationship with Russia.
“The account is detailed in a letter written by Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee. In the letter, Mr. Cummings said that the whistle-blower contacted his office in June and has authorized him to go public with the details. He did not name the whistle-blower.”
____________
The devil will be in the details.
Trump is committing foreign policy. Oh my.
That's right James just keep forcing Dems to vote on looney-tune impeachment resolutions.
Hey dumb dumb, how many votes did you have to repeal the ACA and your party still hasn't with both houses in control.....Next go around, the environment might be different....[
Ten minutes
ADonald Trump delivered his inaugural address on Capitol Hill in January, his incoming national security adviser, Michael Flynn, sitting a few yards away, texted a former business partner to say that a nuclear power project that would require lifting sanctions on Russia was “good to go”, a senior House Democrat said in a letter released on Wednesday.
Quoting a confidential informant, Elijah Cummings, the top Democrat on the House oversight and government reform committee, wrote that Alex Copson, the managing partner of ACU Strategic Partners, told the informant that Flynn would see that the sanctions on Moscow were “ripped up”.
Trump's Flynn tweets point to obstruction of justice, say opponents
In the letter to Trey Gowdy, the panel’s Republican chairman, Cummings demanded that Gowdy subpoena documents on the nuclear power plan from the White House, Flynn, Copson, their partners and associates.
Cummings said he had found the unnamed informant to be “authentic, credible, and reliable”, and offered to produce the individual for Gowdy.
It could get bigger and bigger and bigger and...
I was sure that the Dems Had the votes. After all the liberals here are convinced.
Why is so many Democrats voted to keep this President in Office?
Pass the popcorn please
Well there you have it...
A new claim of the President wanting to perform a perfectly legal and constitutional action. I guess this is just another one of those "smoking guns".
This was the expected result--even though Trump really DOES deserve impeachment--because the GOP is still in control of Congress and still putting party over country.
As wrong as it is to have an unfit, un-American, dirty old man squatting in the White House, impeachment efforts at this point are jumping the gun. Wait until the Repedophiles feel the wrath of the voters in 2018, then try it again.
