Huh. So common sense limitations on a right you highly value will be ineffective, have undesirable effects, and are therefore unacceptable? I wonder if that same argument has other applications. #2a
A Virginia Beach man was charged Friday with threatening to murder his local congressman, Rep. Scott Taylor (R-Va.), the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia announced Friday.
According to court documents, Wallace Grove Godwin, 69, visited Taylor's office on Thursday and threatened to shoot him and two staffers at a Saturday event. The dispute arose, according to the District Attorney's office, over a discussion about marijuana policy.
“Scott is having an event this Saturday. I am going to get my shotgun and do something about this. I will just handle this myself," Godwin allegedly said to a Taylor staffer. He then pointed to two staffers in the room and said, “You two are next," authorities said.
As far as I know, Bolton is no bigger an idiot, nor less of one, that he has been for decades. It seems appropriate for Trump to hire him. But remembering how much noise Bolton likes to make, and knowing how much Trump dislikes it when subordinates steal his thunder, I think there will be clashes.
The 17 year old liberal hero calls others opportunistic?
SO FUCKING WHAT SCOT!!! The 17 year old has more notoriety than you can ever dream of....Maybe you should invite him here, he might get your page hits up!!!!! LOL Maybe if you had someone shooting at your or your kids, someone like me would listen to your guano.....
You don't give 2 shits about them....which is about what I think of you....ESAD....freemartin fucker I'm sure the twinks you raised would be hiding just like you and do nothing....good that the adults in charge are as impotent as you.....

Trump moves to limit transgender individuals from military service AOL.COM 54 mins ago WASHINGTON, March 23 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump signed a memorandum on Friday that bans most transgender individuals from serving in the U.S. military, but gives the armed forces some latitude in implementing policies.
The memorandum said that transgender individuals with a history of "gender dysphoria," which was defined as "those who may require substantial medical treatment, including through medical drugs or surgery," are disqualified from military service "except under certain limited circumstances."
It added that the secretaries of defense and homeland security "may exercise their authority to implement any appropriate policies concerning military service by transgender individuals."
The White House said on Friday that Defense Secretary Jim Mattis had found that individuals with a history or diagnosis of gender dysphoria presented a risk to military effectiveness.
"This new policy will enable the military to apply well-established mental and physical health standards ... equally to all individuals who want to join and fight for the best military force the world has ever seen," the White House said.
Trump announced in July that he would prohibit transgender people from serving in the military, reversing former President Barack Obama's policy of accepting them.
A number of federal judges have issued rulings blocking Trump's ban. The judges said the ban would likely violate the right under the U.S. Constitution to equal protection under the law.
On Friday, the Pentagon reaffirmed that it would continue to comply with federal law.
"(The Pentagon) will continue to assess and retain transgender service members," Pentagon spokesman Major David Eastburn said.

A majority of Democrats and Republican voters support stricter gun laws, including 91 percent on both sides who say anyone with a history of mental illness should be banned from owning a gun. Eighty-four percent of Republicans believe people on the “no-fly” list should also be banned from gun ownership and 83 percent are in favor of expanding background checks. A majority of Republicans also say that assault weapons and high capacity ammunition clips should be outlawed.
"majority of Americans, including Republicans, Democrats and gun owners want stricter laws on gun ownership and armed guards in schools, according to a Reuters/Ipsos national poll taken in early March."

On Friday, the DNC sent an email out to supporters signed by Sara Imam, one of the Parkland students, on a national campaign for gun control, begging Democrats to donate to their party apparatus in memory of the Parkland victims and to ensure mass shootings "never happen again."

This email marks the first time one of the students is admitting to working in concert with Democratic officials to push a policy agenda.
But regardless of admission, the connection was unmistakable from the beginning. In fact, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) told Buzzfeed last week, in a story about the Parkland students' lobbying efforts, that she reached out to victims less than 24 hours after the shooting, putting them in touch with Democratic Party elite and with organizations pushing for stricter gun control.

Trump order would ban most transgender troops from serving Associated Press KEN THOMAS,Associated Press 10 hours ago
President Donald Trump gestures to people cheering him across the tarmac as he, arrives on Air Force One with first lady Melania Trump and their son Barron Trump at Palm Beach International Airport, in West Palm Beach, Fla., Friday, March 23, 2018. (AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster) PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — President Donald Trump released an order Friday night banning most transgender troops from serving in the military except under "limited circumstances," following up on his calls last year to ban transgender individuals from serving.
The White House said retaining troops with a history or diagnosis of "gender dysphoria" — those who may require substantial medical treatment — "presents considerable risk to military effectiveness and lethality."
On Jan. 26, just over a year into his presidency, President Trump had a president's dream: peace and prosperity. The Dow Jones industrial average, S&P 500 and Nasdaq all hit record highs.
Since then, Trump has injected multiple new risks into the system.
Yesterday, "U.S. stocks suffered their worst week in more than two years, signaling mounting investor anxiety over whether factors from restrictive trade policies to rising interest rates could disrupt the nine-year bull market." (WSJ) N.Y. Times: "Aides said there was no grand strategy to the president’s actions, and that he got up each morning this week not knowing what he would do. " So what's happened in the past two months?
Checks inside the White House are gone, and Chief of Staff John Kelly's controls have been circumvented. Critics of China and trade have been empowered. Hawks have been installed at NSC and State. Trump is stirring for a Mueller fight. The conversation:
CFR President Richard Haass tweets: "This is the most perilous moment in modern American history-and it has been largely brought about by ourselves, not by events." Jeremy Bash, former CIA and Pentagon chief of staff, on "Morning Joe": "I think the president is assembling a War Cabinet. To take a war to Bob Mueller, he's got Joe diGenova. To take a trade war to China, he's got Larry Kudlow. And now, to actually have a real war, he's got John Bolton. And the only question is: Will we find ourselves in a military conflict vis-à-vis North Korea or Iran or both?" N.Y. Times Quote of the Day ... Tong Zhao, a nuclear policy expert at the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy in Beijing, on the apprehension of American allies in Asia about the appointment of John Bolton as national security adviser: “People are trying to avoid appearing terrified, but people are deeply concerned.” The Trump view ... A source close to the president told me:
"I personally reject the premise that there is inherent 'risk' in Trump being more Trump." "He's got 15 months under his belt, and is feeling more comfortable and confident in the job." "The economy is booming ... ISIS is obliterated. He's got China to the table to help with NoKo in unprecedented ways." "Now he's continuing to throw Kim off balance with a vocal NoKo hawk, reminding him he's serious." "He's doing nothing on trade that he didn't openly campaign on." "It's unorthodox. It's chaotic from a staff level. But I think folks need to relax." Be smart: The markets can be prescient — they appear to be factoring in rising uncertainty and risk.
Bottom line: We have never seen so much wobbliness and apprehension, internally and externally.

When I watched the President on the dangerous threat to the United from Mexican illegals, as dangerous to our lives, murderers, drug dealers and rapists, I was reminded of the rhetoric of Adolf Hitler speaking about the Jews in Germany.

In 1923 Hitler gathered a few men together to “march on Berlin.” The attempt was a failure. Hitler was sentenced to prison for five years, but he was allowed to go free long before his term was up. People laughed at him, and thought he was of little importance.
Those who laughed were wrong. The “little corporal” may have been of small measure as a person; but there was power in the forces which it was possible for him to muster.
[...]
Adolf Hitler, out of prison, took advantage of the groans. He told people that he would make Germany “great” again. He blamed Jews, Socialists, Communists, and others for the troubles of the land. His blazing speeches gained followers for his “cause.”

The only stupidity here is you lesbian loretta....No one is trying to overturn second amendment rights....only extremist talking heads have made that tenet and once again, you got trolled....sooooooo easy!!!
"You mean like how you always had to write a hastily thrown together post to repute something you didn't like that I wrote?
(In other words, the main reason I split the two blogs)?
I hate to tell you this, Roger... but even your newly found need to throw the phrase gaslight all over the place is a sign of impulsive behavior. At least, it sure looks impulsive to the rest of us.
If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck... then Roger is still impulsive.
"It just makes me think what sick fuckers out there want to continue to sell more guns, murder more children, and honestly just get reelected," Hogg said. "What type of shitty person does that? They could have blood from children splattered all over their faces and they wouldn’t take action, because they all still see these dollar signs."
"Honestly, it's alright that people are buying more guns. I just care that they are being safe individuals. And they can practice their Second Amendment rights all they want. I don't give a f*ck about that. I just want to make sure that a crazy-ass individual doesn't get an AR-15 or any weapon at all," Hogg said about guns.
AND, the reasons Roger was unfriended and blocked (Facebook) by CH...
"Here are three quick examples I found of Roger messaging me in the middle of the night.
- The first screen print was a one sided Roger conversation that ended at 5:28 AM
- The second was a classic 3:48 AM attachment (that shows no longer available)
- The third is showing two disjointed messages from 3:03AM and then again at 6:44AM
http://coldheartedtruthblog.blogspot.com/2015/11/
So Roger tells us all that he never messaged me in the middle of the night, and that I am lying, and that he always tells the truth. Perhaps I can give him the benefit of the doubt and assume it's some sort of cognitive disorder where he does things (like message people in the middle of the night) and doesn't remember?
The book, John F Kennedy among the Germans, suggests that in the late 1930s Kennedy, who was a student in his twenties, accepted Nazi race theories and approved of fascist rule.
After a visit to the river Rhine in 1937, Kennedy wrote: “Very beautiful, because there are many castles along the route. The towns are all charming which shows that the Nordic races appear to be definitely superior to their Latin counterparts. The Germans are really too good – that’s why people conspire against them – they do it to protect themselves.”
A fortnight earlier, Kennedy, who was touring with his friend Lem Billings, wrote in his diary: “I have come to the conclusion that fascism is right for Germany and Italy. What are the evils of fascism compared to communism?” Billings later recalled that Kennedy was “completely consumed by his interest for the Hitler movement” during their trip.
Kennedy’s writings do not reveal whether he was influenced by his anti-Semitic, pro-Nazi father Joseph, who was US ambassador to London in the late 1930s and regarded by the Nazis as “Germany’s best friend in London”.
President Roosevelt sacked Kennedy Sr in 1940 after he remarked during the Battle of Britain that “democracy is finished in England” and sought to negotiate with Hitler to prevent America entering the Second World War.
But even after Germany’s defeat in 1945, when the Holocaust was common knowledge, JFK appears to have retained an extraordinary fascination for Hitler. By then a naval officer he accompanied the US Secretary of the Navy, James Forrestal, on a tour of Germany that August.
with regards to your bullshit phony trump/nazi/hitler analogy...
let me know when elementary school children are required to sing "mmmm, mmmm, mmmm, donald j trump!"
once again, you're practicing your tried and true psychological projection. just like you do with the south and the klan, just like you do with every heinous and embarrassing episode of democrat history.
you're a fraud, alky. every utterance of yours is borrowed and not your own, every thought that has ever emerged from your gin-soaked skull has been the brainchild of someone else. you constantly fall back on the same old faulty analogies and comparisons, and when challenged you stammer, obfuscate, and resort to your pidgeon chess tactic of scattering the pieces, declaring victory, and vanishing.
Incoherence on steroids. One incoherent sentence from a racist .

My analogy was mine. I have a functional mind. I watched him speak. I was reminded of the rhetoric of Adolf Hitler speaking about the Jews. I thought of it.
How the Hitler Youth Turned a Generation of Kids Into Nazis BY ERIN BLAKEMORE
The Boy Scouts’ motto was “Be Prepared.” But nothing could prepare Max Ebel, a German teenager, for what happened after Hitler banned the Boy Scouts. As other boys cheered, the 17-year-old was surrounded by a gang of Nazi Youth—one of whom had a knife. Ebel’s refusal to leave scouting behind had just turned into a fight for his life.
It was 1937, and the Boy Scouts were one of many youth organizations on the Nazis’ verboten list. Now, every non-Jewish boy in Germany was required to be part of the Hitler Youth, the Nazis’ youth arm, instead. Ebel, a pacifist who distrusted the Nazis, refused—and paid the price.
The Boy Scout was harassed and then attacked by a group of Nazi Youth. In an attempt to force him to join, one of the members stabbed him in the hand. Ebel fought back, grabbed the knife, and cut the other boy’s face. Later, realizing his life was in danger, he escaped Germany and eventually became a U.S. citizen.
Ebel was just one of millions of young Germans whose lives were changed by the Hitler Youth—a group designed to indoctrinate kids into Hitler’s ideology, then send them off to war.
By the time Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933, hundreds of thousands of kids were members of youth organizations like the Boy Scouts, which was invented in England in 1909 and quickly spread to Germany. But there was also another powerful youth movement afoot—one invented by the Nazis. Since 1922, the National Socialists had had a youth arm designed to train and recruit members for its paramilitary. As the Nazis became more powerful, their youth arm grew.
In January 1933, there were 50,000 members of the Hitler Youth. By the end of the year, there were more than 2 million. And as the 1930s progressed, the Nazis waged war on the groups so popular among German youth. First they banned children’s groups associated with political movements like Communism. And in 1936, they banned all youth groups—including the Boy Scouts—and forced members to become part of the Hitler Youth instead. Jewish children were banned from participation.
Banning scouting sent a message—obey, or be punished. It had a practical effect, too: Since other scouting organizations were banned, the only way for kids to get scouting experience was to join the Hitler Youth. As Germany hurtled toward war, children who refused to join were alienated, then punished. By 1939, over 90 percent of German children were part of the Hitler Youth organization.
From the sixth year of age, German boys have to join the Nazi organization of youth. Equipped with uniforms and flags, they undergo strenuous physical training that leaves them well prepared for the two years they will later serve in the Wehrmacht. From the sixth year of age, German boys have to join the Nazi organization of youth. Equipped with uniforms and flags, they undergo strenuous physical training that leaves them well prepared for the two years they will later serve in the Wehrmacht. For the Nazis, the group had other benefits. Not only did it allow the Third Reich to indoctrinate children at their most impressionable, but it let the Nazis remove them from the influence of their parents, some of whom opposed the regime. The Nazi Party knew that families—private, cohesive groups not usually under political sway—were an obstacle to their goals. The Hitler Youth was a way to get Hitler’s ideology into the family unit, and some members of the Hitler Youth even denounced their parents when they behaved in ways not approved of by the Reich."

I don't doubt that you likely play chess, and likely would beat Roger. So I am curious as to what your rating actually is?
I am admittedly a mediocre player, at one time fairly successful at on line speed chess (usually played at around 5 minutes), generally offering to play black and playing almost exclusively a Sicilian defense. I got away from it once it became obvious that about half the players I were playing were using a computer or I was actually playing a computer. Not that much fun.
Roger is married to a much more attractive women than everyone else here. Probably true.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
That being said, when a woman (like my wife) was paid to be a fashion model for seven years, or when pictures of her from our Paris wedding go wild on Instagram... I can be a little more confident that my own opinion regarding her beauty is shared by others.
I used to play chess against the chess club guys at the Renaissance Festival. They had a booth, you'd pay $5.00 and win a ceramic mug worth like $30 if you won. They would keep a running tally of their wins and losses on a chalkboard, and generally they would lose a grand total of around 10-12 matches every season.
I never won and sometimes didn't get too far into the game... the closest I got was getting fairly deep into a match with a guy I had never seen before, who ended up having to leave for some reason in the middle of the game. I was up a rook for a knight, pawns even, no pawn islands, I had decent space... so I didn't think my position was that bad. But the long haired guy who was the only "master" rated player took over... and I was doomed. I guess I wasn't in as good of shape as I thought. Big difference between guys like me and guys who have ratings over 2000 (or is it 2200 for Master?).
As much as I loath the Boston Patriots football team....Kudos to the owner Kraft who donated the use of their team plane, a 767 to fly area students to DC for the march today....Great move on his part and showing a very right leaning adult can do the correct thing once in a while... It's all relative; I remember losing a game like that to an International Grandmaster, Yasser Seirawan, who was the US Champion at the time. It was a simul, where they play a number of games all at once, so it wasn't a real game. I'd gotten it equal, traded down some pieces, open center, quiet game. In about 5 moves I went from feeling pretty good about it to "what the hell happened"? Losing that game bothered me more than some that actually mattered, because it just felt like it was too easy.
I did beat a former US Champion in another simul, GM Walter Brown, so that made it feel a little better. 1-1 against US Champions LOL.

Grandmaster, Yasser Seirawan, who was the US Champion at the time
Ha, I actually used to own all of his books. Sort of Chess for "people who are slightly above a dummy".
He's a great player, it was just routine taking advantage of a weak player from his perspective. Maybe I should have read his books first.
Which reminds me of what happened in the Walter Brown game, which you might appreciate. He was playing maybe FIFTY people, and winning just about all of them, but the funny thing is that first he gave a lecture on how horrible a certain defense was. Stonewall against D5 openings, transposed from a Dutch if that means anything. Anyway, contrarian that I am I selected that same defense (which I never played) against him and crushed him with a King-side attack LOL. If only Yasser had given a lecture first ....
From what I remember about Yasser's books is that he believed in fighting for overall space, more so than the traditional fighting for the center. Every move he made was an attempt to create control of one more square to allow for more freedom on his side to make moves, while limiting the opposing players options.
He also wrote a lot about "time" which was the idea that if he could reduce his opponent to making arbitrary moves, it would be like he would have "extra moves" giving him an advantage in time. Obviously if you could garner yourself an extra move every four or five turns, that would become a pretty big advantage.
So he seemed to be sort of strategic player or system player. He wasn't aggressive like Fischer or Tal nor was he cautious or defensive like Capablanca or Petrosian. Of course he was never a world champion either like any of them.
All that being said, he did write an entire book about tactics, so he wasn't completely dismissive of tactical play either. Or at least he felt that writing a book about tactics back at that time would sell to the sort of players (like me) who played mainly speed chess.
So perhaps he had you thinking you were fairly even because you were equal in material, and had decent control of the center. But I am guessing that he had probably slowly but surely been increasing the advantages that he sought, and then those four or five moves were fruits of that labor. Not that I would actually recognize what he saw!
All I recall is he definitely had better piece activity which eventually forced a weakness, which eventually led to a tactic etc etc. By the time he had the better piece activity, I already knew there was a problem; I just didn't see it developing. Yeah, "Every move he made was an attempt to create control of one more square to allow for more freedom on his side to make moves, while limiting the opposing players options" would describe it. Ironically, that is exactly the algorithm I used around 1980 attempting to program "positional" play in computer chess instead of the brute force methods that everyone was using.
A couple of knights and a bishop, plus a rook maybe, on both sides with an open board, aggressively developed, they control the same amount of space and lines. Or so you'd think. But no, for sure there was a logic that he used, that I missed, that "coordinated" his stuff better than mine. Easy advantage for him, which is the one part I hated. When you "do" someone strategically, and they didn't even know the positional logic existed so they don't even to try to counter, too easy.
But that's what I like about chess (not the losing but ...) no matter how much a person can talk about it, or what they claim, the truth comes out in the game.

Trump moves to limit transgender individuals from military service
AOL.COM 54 mins ago
WASHINGTON, March 23 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump signed a memorandum on Friday that bans most transgender individuals from serving in the U.S. military, but gives the armed forces some latitude in implementing policies.

BIPARTISAN SUPPORT FOR GUN CONTROL

This email marks the first time one of the students is admitting to working in concert with Democratic officials to push a policy agenda.
But regardless of admission, the connection was unmistakable from the beginning. In fact, Rep. PALM BEACH, Fla.

From my email Axis.
On Jan. 26, just over a year into his presidency, President Trump had a president's dream: peace and prosperity. The Dow Jones industrial average, S&P 500 and Nasdaq all hit record highs.
Since then, Trump has injected multiple new risks into the system.
Yesterday, "U.S. stocks suffered their worst week in more than two years, signaling mounting investor anxiety over whether factors from restrictive trade policies to rising interest rates could disrupt the nine-year bull market." (WSJ)
N.Y. Times: "Aides said there was no grand strategy to the president’s actions, and that he got up each morning this week not knowing what he would do. "
So what's happened in the past two months?
Checks inside the White House are gone, and Chief of Staff John Kelly's controls have been circumvented.
Critics of China and trade have been empowered.
Hawks have been installed at NSC and State.
Trump is stirring for a Mueller fight.
The conversation:
CFR President Richard Haass tweets: "This is the most perilous moment in modern American history-and it has been largely brought about by ourselves, not by events."
Jeremy Bash, former CIA and Pentagon chief of staff, on "Morning Joe": "I think the president is assembling a War Cabinet. To take a war to Bob Mueller, he's got Joe diGenova. To take a trade war to China, he's got Larry Kudlow. And now, to actually have a real war, he's got John Bolton. And the only question is: Will we find ourselves in a military conflict vis-à-vis North Korea or Iran or both?"
N.Y. Times Quote of the Day ... Tong Zhao, a nuclear policy expert at the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy in Beijing, on the apprehension of American allies in Asia about the appointment of John Bolton as national security adviser: “People are trying to avoid appearing terrified, but people are deeply concerned.”
The Trump view ... A source close to the president told me:
"I personally reject the premise that there is inherent 'risk' in Trump being more Trump."
"He's got 15 months under his belt, and is feeling more comfortable and confident in the job."
"The economy is booming ... ISIS is obliterated. He's got China to the table to help with NoKo in unprecedented ways."
"Now he's continuing to throw Kim off balance with a vocal NoKo hawk, reminding him he's serious."
"He's doing nothing on trade that he didn't openly campaign on."
"It's unorthodox. It's chaotic from a staff level. But I think folks need to relax."
Be smart: The markets can be prescient — they appear to be factoring in rising uncertainty and risk.
Bottom line: We have never seen so much wobbliness and apprehension, internally and externally.
Bottom line:

Yeah, of course.
Nazis = The German Progressive Socialist Party.
Why do Democrats always try to tie them to Republican Conservative Presidents?
Probably feeling guilty of their complicity with supporting Adolph Hitler in the late 30's and trying to project their guilt on others.

You wouldn't want to play chess with me.

There's something seriously wrong with him.

My analogy was mine. I have a functional mind. I watched him speak. I was reminded of the rhetoric of Adolf Hitler speaking about the Jews. I thought of it.
All you have in response are insults.
"March for Our Lives
How the Hitler Youth Turned a Generation of Kids Into Nazis
BY ERIN BLAKEMORE

"My analogy was mine."
Big deal.
Roger is a genius. Yes
Roger is so handsome attractive young women hit on him constanty. Yes
Roger is the greatest AA speaker of all times. Not even close .
Roger is he best rehab patient in the world. No,but my recovery is complete and I'm doing well. I have been given a second chance of life by helping others. You refuse to consider that the President is not qualified by any measure .
Roger speaks better Spanish than Rat speaks English. Absolutely.
Roger is super rich because of his pension. Not true. But post tax income is higher than the average family of four.
Roger is married to a much more attractive women than everyone else here. Probably true.
Roger believes everyone wants to hear about him. Most of the people I know, like me.
I didn't use that. You are calling me a liar, and think it matters. I didn't lie. But you believe that the President is not a liar.
Listen to the kids
Hogg: “After we come back from Spring Break, they’re requiring us all to have clear backpacks...it’s unnecessary. It’s embarrassing for a lot of the students.”
What a tool.
ROFLMFAO !!!
LOL, Roger, along with comedians like Louis C.K., politicians like Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, and authoritarian historian Timothy Snyder compared Trump to Hitler...

Sorry, 10393272. It's been a couple of decades since I used that number.
Googling it I see there's also some info here https://chess-db.com/public/pinfo.jsp?id=3010393272
Current rating is 2006, down from a one-time high of 2150 :(
Roger is married to a much more attractive women than everyone else here.

The cowardly troll once again proves why he has no ballz...

You can’t read fatty. I answered the question
There’s a Hooters in Interlaken
Wake-N-Bake go destroy some shit buffet
Cali the droll thinks a hooters in interlaken is funny.....I guess if you are a loser salesman who drinks a lot, it could be.
There’s a Hooters in Interlake
Sorry pauline...thinking that being funny really is a stretch, even for you....But thanx for the explanation...Nice try though....Idiot..
