For the good of the country?

I find it interesting that he Party that currently:
  • Does not control the White House
  • Does not control the Senate
  • Does not control the House
  • Only controls 16 Governorships
  • Only controls approximately one third of State Congressional chambers
Believes that their ideals and priorities are actually the priorities of the American public. More to the point, they have increasingly come up with more and more possibilities as to how to shift the balance, while ignoring the most obvious solution (which would be to win more elections).

So far the fact that Republicans have been able to control the agenda (go figure) is considered nothing short of a coup that has to be stopped. The fact that the President is allowed to do things that Presidents are allowed to do, is akin to an attack on the decency of the nation. The fact that we are about to have another conservative Justice appointed to the USSC is nothing short of an all out abomination to the constitution.

Sorry liberals, but some day you will need to face the fact that if your priorities were as just and good as you believe that they are, then you would not have the least amount of electoral power as you have had in the past 100 years. If the American public wanted your ideals and policies to win the day, then Hillary would be President, Schumer would be Majority leader,  Pelosi would be speaker, and you would control 33 Governorships and two thirds of the State legislatures.

Since the retirement of Anthony Kennedy, and the knowledge that the left cannot depend on the courts to save them from their electoral defeats, they have gotten downright psychotic and delusional. There has been cases made to "pack the courts" the next time a Democrat takes office, including one journalist suggested adding six extra liberal Justices to the court. There have been repeated threats that if the Democrats can take "any" power (such as winning the House), that they should use it to investigate the President non-stop.  Today the NY Times published a piece demanding that it would be in the Country's best interest if Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski switch Parties. Never mind that both were actually elected as Republicans, and that Murkowski would likely not be reelected as a Democrat. Apparently it's the will of the left wing media (not the will of the people) that appears to be important.

The reality is that when you are losing (at anything)... it's easy to blame others, attack the rules as unfair, and attempt to circumvent the outcome by other means. It's also incredibly childish and immature to do so. But this is what the Democrats have been reduced to, because their agenda simply doesn't relate to enough electoral success to get it done by normal means.

MAGA

Germany’s chancellor said Thursday she’s willing to back lower tariffs on U.S. auto imports as a potential European Union (EU) concession to the Trump administration – just one day after CEOs of Germany’s biggest carmakers reportedly voiced support for eliminating such tariffs entirely.
