I can see 101 ways this ends badly for society...

Here we go again, with another court case which could have been ripped from the headlines in dozens of other cities around the country over the past several years. But as you’ll see below, this one has at least a bit of a twist. The subject at hand is a ruling from Oregon federal District Judge Marco A. Hernández in a case involving a school which decided to allow so-called transgender children to use the bathrooms, locker rooms and showers of the opposite gender. A group of concerned parents took the school district to court, but Hernandez brought the hammer down against them.

Let's couple this with the guy in Canada who went to a doctor, got a note that suggested he identifies as a women, went to court with his note, got his identification changed to a female....  all so he could save $97/month on car insurance (most insurance companies charge women less than men). I guess he never heard of Geico. He could have saved money without all that hoopla.  (link)

Now of course the transgender community didn't take too kindly to "David", who is the guy who admits to scamming the system for cheaper insurance. They claim he committed fraud, perjury, and did an injustice to those with legitimate transgender issues.

But I guess if you can simply "pick" your sex in 2018, who is to say what is deemed to be a legitimate reason to change sexes? This is the problem with a situation where there is no "medical" or "scientific" means to determine what sex someone "identifies with". We either have to take "everyone" at their word, or we take "no one" at their word.

So perhaps a legitimate reason for a teenage boy with high quantities of testosterone controlling his every thought and action to identify with the girls, is that he would like to shower and dress with them? Who can say that is wrong? Who would argue that any of the other biological girls in the locker room have any rights to gender privacy in this case?

Apparently not the Oregon court system.
