No, the President broke liberals

Donald Trump broke the presidency. It's time to get rid of the job altogether.
Abolish the POTUS!
We’ve seen it: the belligerent typo-ridden tweets; the fawning press conferences with autocrats and overlords; the self-described Nazis on parade praising an American president’s name. We have seen it with our own eyes. There is a bloated authoritarian lounging in his bathrobe in a 200-year-old mansion that used to symbolize the principal republic of the world.
This is a man who openly conspired to cheat with the help of a hostile foreign nation in a federal election. On election night, he came in second place, yet due to a scab of slavery in the Constitution (the electoral college), this usurper has the full power of the most powerful military in history, command of the treasury, the absolute power to pardon and he can unilaterally annihilate millions of people with his command to deploy nuclear weapons. He’s made refugees begging us for mercy into orphans hoping it will deter other asylum seekers — because he can. He’s now poised to put a man on the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh, who believes in supreme leaders (if they’re Republican that is).
We can amend our Constitution to save the republic. Abolish the presidency! Power to the people! Power to the Congress! Make the co-equal branches of government more equal. Give us a council of boring bureaucrats who will do their job, serve the people and leave after their term ends.
Now there are cases of taking my ball and going home, and then there are these sorts of temper tantrums. It was only a matter of time before someone from the left decided that ruling with a pen and telephone was perfectly acceptable when the President is a Democrat, but that there simply isn't any need for a President, if he is a Republican.

Wants to abolish the Presidency!

Imagine the gall of a President being elected and then doing the job that the constitution requires him to do. Imagine the gall of a President keeping the promises he made to the voters who elected him. Imagine the gall of a President "not" willing to step aside because he drives liberals insane.

By the way, Donald Trump blowing up the minds of the left is a feature of him being President, it's not a bug.

Yeah, that was tried before.

It was called the supreme soviet.

Isn't it ironic how the left professes to defend democracy by proposing the most undemocratic of solutions.

Government run by unaccountible bureaucrats.

We're back to the trump and GOP are anti black racists again. Why? Because trump has their unemployment rate at historic low and his approval among them is now over 20%.

Obama did nothing for them in eight years.

The President and the Republican party have been lying repeatedly about the successful economic recovery under President Obama.

He's been lying repeatedly about unemployment for the African American unemployment rate numbers and claiming that under Obama the African American unemployment rate was unchanged.

It's just another lie by the biggest liar in chief in history.

The unemployment rate for black Americans in 2009 it was 16%

If the projections are correct the economic future is not going to be anywhere near 4%. And the deficit will increase dramatically. By 2020 unfortunately we will probably have another recession under a Republican President.

Our only option is that we get a solid majority in the house of Representatives. Then the house will act as a constraint on the executive branch as the Constitution says.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/rexsinquefield/2016/11/29/obama-and-the-dems-dismal-recovery/#7be79d66cb0e

The Obama recovery of the last seven years remains the worst in postwar American history. Average gross domestic product (GDP) growth since the bottom of the recession in 2009 was barely above 2.1% per year. The average since 1949 is well above 4% per year during the previous 10 expansions.

This result is not just bad, it is catastrophic. The average American should not be wondering if his or her income is a bit above or below 2007 levels. Just by historical averages, the average American should be 20% better off than in 2007. And this slow growth is settling in as a permanent new-abnormal.

I believe the root cause of abysmal growth is the huge tax increases imposed by Obama and the Democrats in Congress since 2008. The most harmful were the increase in the capital gains tax from 15 to 20 percent, the increase in top bracket income from 35 to 39.6 percent, and the new tax of 3.8 percent on investment income in the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The massive increase in regulatory burden through the ACA and Dodd-Frank bills are also crushing, but unfortunately are harder to measure.

The 13.4 percentage point tax increases mentioned above (plus higher state and local taxes) directly lower expected returns on all investments by the same amount. Our government grabs the fruits of investment, and then is puzzled that businesses do not invest. This causes billions of dollars of investment projects to come off the table That is precisely what happens.

Weak investment is the signature feature and cause of the abysmal Obama "recovery." The aggregate of all investments in the United States is Net Private Domestic Investment computed by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Relative to GDP Net Private Domestic Investment (NPDI) was 7% per year from1960 to 2008. That average was 7 to 8 percent from 1960 to 1990, and 6.5 percent in the Clinton and Bush (W) years. But for the Obama years NPDI was an astoundingly low 2% of GDP!

First things first.

The economic recovery under President Obama was not a monster by any measure. But it was the longest sustained recovery in history.

The story I posted agreed with the post by the twit, who obviously can't read statistics.

For more than a century, the pace of growth was reliably resilient, bouncing back after recessions like a car returning to its cruising speed after a roadblock. Even after the prolonged Great Depression of the 1930s, growth eventually returned to an average pace of more than 3 percent a year. But Treasury Secretary Jacob J. Lew, citing the Congressional Budget Office, said on Wednesday that the government now expected annual growth to average just 2.1 percent, about two-thirds of the previous pace.

“Many today wonder whether something that has always been true in our past will be true in our future,” Mr. Lew told members of the Economic Club of New York. “There are questions about whether America can maintain strong rates of growth and doubts about whether the benefits of technology, innovation and prosperity will be shared broadly.”

That was the Obama economy.

Thank God Trump was elected.

that was a bug, not a feature.

FDR made the great depression GREAT by dragging it out much longer than necessary as well, alky.

nothing to brag about. nothing at all to brag about.

every single major economic policy enacted by 0linsky was a failure, alky. an abject fucking failure. from the porkulus to cash for junkers, skeets had the shit-fingered midas touch when it came to the economy.

to deny this is to deny reality. but then again you've spent the majority of your life as a worthless fucking drunk, so denial of reality is something you've mastered.

bureau of beaner statistics,

You're the typical Trump supporter.

You're afraid of the changing ethnic and cultural changes that our nation is facing. In 20 years the white population will no longer be the majority ethnic group in the United States.

Trump has been using your fear of the changing world and can't accept the reality and you can't do a goddamn thing about it.

Grow up.

This is maybe a bi harsh because it affects his retirement and pensions. But although I don't think it affected his investigation into the Russian intervention into the election. But this is another lesson. People need to understand that the use of email within any organization can and will be used against you if you're stupid.

The FBI has fired Agent Peter Strzok, who helped lead the bureau’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election until officials discovered he had been sending anti-Trump texts.

Aitan Goelman, Strzok’s lawyer, said FBI Deputy Director David L. Bowdich ordered the firing on Friday — even though the director of the FBI office that normally handles employee discipline had decided Strzok should face only a demotion and 60-day suspension. Goelman said the move undercuts the FBI’s repeated assurances that Strzok would be afforded the normal disciplinary process.
