Oh, Taylor Swift came out against Blackburn. With all the media coverage that should have a real impact.
CBS News reports "Singer Taylor Swift's Instagram announcement that she's supporting Tennessee's Democratic Senate candidate Phil Bredesen has apparently caused a spike in voter registrations, both nationwide and in Tennessee, where Bredesen faces a close race against Republican Marsha Blackburn for Sen. Bob Corker's seat."
Guess the FAKE NEWS is counting on that moving the needle.
Haley wrote a public op-ed in September challenging the N.Y. Times' anonymous op-ed:
"I don’t agree with the president on everything. When there is disagreement, there is a right way and a wrong way to address it. I pick up the phone and call him or meet with him in person." "Like my colleagues in the Cabinet and on the National Security Council, I have very open access to the president. He does not shut out his advisers, and he does not demand that everyone agree with him. I can talk to him most any time, and I frequently do." "If I disagree with something and believe it is important enough to raise with the president, I do it. And he listens."
i don't see the haley resignation as being an issue at all. our posture and tone with the UN has been well set by haley and trump. and i don't see that changing anytime soon. bolton could easily step in in the interim since he's held the position in the past.
unless there's a scandalous reason for her departure this is not a big deal.

The Republican House majority continues to show signs of collapsing, with Democrats steadily gaining ground toward erasing the 23-seat margin and ending eight years of GOP control.
A total of 68 seats currently held by Republicans are firmly in play — rated as “Lean Republican” or worse for the GOP — presenting a stark contrast to the Democratic side, where only a half-dozen Democratic seats are in similar jeopardy.
The political environment has been jolted temporarily by the searing fight over Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. But prior to that recent battle — which ended with Kavanaugh’s confirmation last week — Democrats had improved their electoral position since Labor Day, according to more than a dozen operatives and strategists in both parties.
With a month to go until Election Day, there are now 209 seats either firmly or leaning in the Democratic column — only nine shy of the 218 the party needs to wrest away control of the chamber — according to the latest update of POLITICO’s race ratings.
wouldn't it be glorious if the kavanaugh shit show costs the dems the house? it's possible, which explains the alky's feverish copy/pasting of anal-ysis favorable to the left.
The fact that she had been a stardent supporter of the President in public can't necessarily be an indicator for her resignation. People who take the job as an appointee of a President usually say things in public supportive of the President. She has always been open minded about politics more than most people in office. She worked with the both sides as governor.

"Democrat and Prospective 2020 presidential candidate Michael Avenatti implied on Sunday that Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) is too soft to challenge President Donald Trump.
“I have a lot of respect for @CoryBooker. But we have VERY different views as to how to solve the crisis of Donald Trump and the dumpster fire of his presidency. #FireWithFire #HitHarder #FightClub,” Avenatti tweeted after Booker’s well-received weekend trip to Iowa. "
Voter registrations among young Americans shot up in the wake of pop megastar Taylor Swift's Instagram post urging her 112 million Instagram followers to get out the vote. Vote.org says nearly 65,000 Americans ages 18 to 29 registered to vote in the roughly 24 hours after the singer-songwriter's social media rallying cry. That surge in young registrations far exceeded the combined total of every other age group in the same period, in which about 40,000 Americans ages 30 and up registered.

Saw Rasmussen now has Trump at +4
And the latest NYT/Siena Research poll has Cruz +12, Blackburn +14 and even Heller +3
I'd say there's quite a red shadow over that little blue wave, but it is early.
On the other hand it looks like Democrats don't have a plan B, have no "leader" and are in depressed panic mode.
Haley resigns

make sure you spam every thread with the haley op/ed excerpt, alky.
A joint announcement with Trump is scheduled for the Oval Office.
Doesn't sound like she's leaving on unfriendly terms.

Effeminate Alky, don't hear your voice.
You don't have one.
United States Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh takes his rightful seat on the bench.
She's been very supportive of the President.
Why she's leaving is to be seen.
The fact that she had been a stardent supporter of the President in public can't necessarily be an indicator for her resignation. Ambassador Bolton to the UN?
Sounds like staying on through year-end, told Trump 6 months ago...
Why she's leaving is to be seen.
thank you captain obvious.
i love the way you make these statements as if you had some air of authoritative intellect to bestow upon the rest of us mere mortals, alky.

She might hit the campaign trail in support of Republicans to limit the impact of the women's vote.

News flash...the women's vote is pissed at the dems for diluting and muddying the me too movement.
