My last post was very circumspect, since I did not want to point fingers until we had an arrest in the mail bombings.
But now we know, it was Cesar Sayoc, a fervent Trump supporter whose van was plastered with pictures of the President along with a big 'CNN sucks' poster (remember one of the devices caused an evacuation of CNN while they were live in the air.)
So Trump's reaction? Did he call a single one of the intended targets? No. Did he speak to the nation on TV like other Presidents have in time of crisis? No. Even yesterday he was back to attacking the media and today he asked minutes after appealing for unity, 'who gets attacked more than me?' and then he bemoaned the fact that the focus on the mail bombs distracted from 'Republican momentum.' Folks, THIS is a crisis and void of leadership at the top.
