Pocahontas DNA fallout

So apparently Elizabeth "Pocahontas" Warren believed that she could squelch her native American controversy by:

• releasing a statement from a Stanford Professor
• who looked at her DNA test but didn't release it
• concluded that they could say with much confidence
• that there is a decent chance that Warren 
• had an ancestor from between six and ten generations back
• who may have some native American blood
• or possibly Colombian, Mexican or Peruvian blood
• They are not sure

Either way, Warren is demanding that the professor's claim that she is somewhere between 1/128th and not at all American Indian is proof that Trump and the other critics are liars and unfair. Of course, the other critics at this point include the Cherokee Nation and other Native American groups who seem fairly offended by the idea that you can claim to be one of them by taking a DNA test and having a Stanford Professor make a statement of proof. 

According to the Native American community you need to actually be able to identify who was the Native American in your ancestry.  As it stands, the best of the best have traced back Warren's lineage based on public records that go back to around 1800, and there is not a single person in her family tree that can be described as Native American. 

Looks like "Goofy" Elizabeth Warren's gambit has backfired.
