The snowflake mob defense?

It's absolutely consistent that a group of snowflakes can become an angry mob

So I have been repeatedly hearing the liberal talking point that it's somehow illogical to deem the growing number of adolescent liberals as being both "snowflakes" as well as an "angry mob". The idea, of course, is to create a competing visual of sensitive snowflakes who become offended at pretty much everything, against the actions of a angry mob who are prone to chaos and violence. The illogical logic is that there can really be no intersection of these two groups.

How can a neurotic Sheldon Cooper turn into a dangerous Chuck Norris?

Oddly, the argument appears to be designed to embrace the idea of liberals being sensitive crybabies incapable of any sort of violence, which in turn is designed to imply that there really isn't an angry mob at all. This allows for the classic straw man arguments where the left will suggest that references to the "mob" is actually an attack of the #metoo movement, or that the sort of behaviors being challenged (chasing down politicians, overrunning Senate hearings, vandalizing political offices) is simply normal political speech.

The truth is that this is very easy to understand, when you clarify the ultimate reality of what we are looking at. What we see is the liberal left being overrun by a group of high strung toddlers who exist in grown up bodies. Like any toddler, they expect everything to go their way. They become upset with the word "no". They are ultra-sensitive to any and all criticism. They feel entitled to what they want, and never feel that they need to work for it. Moreover, they want what they want now, and have little patience for waiting.

What to do toddlers (and modern day liberals) do when they don't get their way? They throw a temper tantrum. When you watch a group of overgrown toddlers running down a politician, harassing them at a restaurant, disrupting official business, clawing at the Senate Chamber doors, or defacing private property, it's simply a temper tantrum. Nothing more, nothing less.

The truth is that the liberals snowflakes didn't get their way in 2016 and they have not been getting their way over the past two years. They have neither the maturity, ethics, or intelligence to understand how politics is supposed to work, so they simply will throw things instead.

So it's very easy to understand how a group of snowflakes becomes an angry mob. You just have to understand the mind of a toddler... or in this case the mind of a bunch of overgrown toddlers.

Longstanding American institutions ranging from the First Amendment to the Electoral College to the Senate have been suddenly and rashly declared “illegitimate.” Why? Because, at the moment, they are keeping the Left from getting what it wants. The Left wants to silence certain right-wing critics and dissidents, and the First Amendment stops them. The Senate and the Electoral College perform their intended constitutional role in protecting the interests of the less-populous states and their residents, ensuring the protecting of minority interests from the tyranny of the majority. This annoys the would-be tyrants. (They are, to their discredit, unable to truly appreciate that political tides turn, and that majorities are fickle things.) The ordinary political processes of the United States have produced results that the Left does not like, and, hence, those processes and the institutions that enable them must be considered illegitimate. The nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court is to be understood as a national emergency because . . . Democrats would prefer to have somebody else, and they believe they having something like a divine right to rule.

The idiot Liberals followed this glue eater.

Rat

very similar to this piece I wrote a couple of weeks ago!

https://coldheartedtruthblog.blogspot.com/2018/10/bottom-line-constitution-is-unpopular.html

When the left loses, the left pouts, they become paranoid, and they start to argue that they really didn't lose (per sea) but rather somehow the powers to be conspired to take away what rightfully was theirs (eg: Judge Garland and President Hillary). They then declare whatever and whoever replaced what was rightfully theirs (eg: new conservative USSC and President Trump) to be illegitimate.

Of course, in the minds of the liberal left, if things were "fair" then none of this would be happening. What makes things "unfair" in their collective minds is none other than the Constitution of the United States of America.

Guess who made the first comment?

Funny, since I wrote this and Roger called me "out of my mind"... there have been countless liberal editorials and opinion writers "admitting" that they believe that the Constitution is their problem, and that it needs to go away. Senator Kaine said to Democrats.

"And we're not afraid of the popular outcry, we're energized by it and that's going to help us do our job and do it better."

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: So, broad question about the future of the Democratic Party, especially given your firsthand experience with what we've all been through. There's so much going on here that we clearly see, you know, places where you -- we can criticize what the administration is doing, but how does the party rebuild? How do you prevent overreach in a situation like this? How do you prevent a continuation of the bubble in a situation like this, and how does the party reclaim its reach across the country while fighting these battles?

SEN. KAINE: Well, let me talk about continuation of the bubble, Mika. This is something I'm so excited about. I saw that Howard Dean tweeted at me the other day, "Tim, the base is getting ahead of the leaders." That's exactly backward. We are so excited that the American public is energized to speak out against the abuses of this administration.

Democrats senators led healthcare rallies -- Save Our Healthcare -- on Martin Luther King Day in about 75 cities around the country, including Richmond. Tens of thousands of people rallied to save our health care. Then, the Women's March that was organized at a grassroots label. Then, people coming out in protest of these orders. So, the way we get outside the bubble is we take advantage of this tremendous public outcry against the administration.

What we've got to do is fight in Congress, fight in the courts, fight in the streets, fight online, fight at the ballot box, and now there's the momentum to be able to do this. And we're not afraid of the popular outcry, we're energized by it and that's going to help us do our job and do it better."

This is a call from the people as guaranteed by the Constitution to save our country from the worst President in history. He and McConnell have been trying to impose an authorization government that evades the Constitution restrictions on governmental institutions.

I love the electoral college!
I love the fact that the combined 1.5 million people of the Dakotas have twice as much Senate representation than the idiots of California.
I love the fact that the constitution protects the religious freedoms of average Americans.
I love the fact that the constitution protects state rights.

I have no issues with the constitution or those judges who actually do their sworn duty of upholding it.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

I had a reply and I hit the wrong button.

I don't like the fact that one voter in Wyoming has nine more votes than me. The electoral college was designed to protect the slave state's support for the approval of the Constitution. Original intent in this regard we should amend the Constitution. But it will never pass the 3/4 state requirement.

Upholding the Constitution has become far more partisan than the founding fathers had in mind.

And the Trump effect and the Kavanaugh appointment are showing signs of weakness.

From the Fake News Washington Post you believe should be required to provide balances content like we used to do for the television broadcast rights said tonight:

Republicans running for governor or senator in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania, including several who hitched their wagon to Trump’s political movement, are behind in polls by double digits, a remarkable turnabout in swing states that were key to the president’s 2016 victory.

If current polling averages hold, Democrats will maintain all their Senate seats in those states, pick up a handful of House seats and, in some cases, retake the governors’ mansions. In nearby Iowa, a state Trump won by nearly 10 points, the Democratic candidate for governor was running about even with the Republican governor in a Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll. Polling this week found Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wis.) trailing his Democratic opponent, Tony Evers.

The dramatic shift has forced political strategists to reevaluate their post-mortem lessons from the 2016 election, while raising new questions about Trump’s staying power in 2020. Democratic strategists, who worried that Iowa and Ohio were slipping away from them in presidential years, are now heartened and have begun to return their attention to the traditional bellwethers.

“One false assumption that was made was that a Trump voter from the 2016 election was necessarily a Republican voter,” said John Brabender, a GOP consultant who is working with Barletta. “We forget about the power of Hillary Clinton being on the ballot in 2016. If Hillary was on the ballot, Republicans would probably be doing better in all of these states.”

President Donald Trump: Frankly, I like General Mattis. I think I know more about it than he does. And I know more about it from the standpoint of fairness, that I can tell you.

President Donald Trump: I know-- and, Lesley, you don't have to try again. I know exactly what you're saying--

Lesley Stahl: Well, answer my question.

“Look. Here is the bottom line. We are not even two years into Trump’s presidency. The economy — record high, unemployment — record low,” Pirro noted. “Under President Trump Americans saved $3.2 trillion in taxes. 3.3 million jobs have been created. The military is being rebuilt. One hundred and twenty federal judges have been appointed. Two United States Supreme Court justices. A much-improved deal with Mexico and Canada. Eighty one thousand illegal aliens have been deported by I.C.E. Fifteen hostages have been brought home from countries like North Korea, Iran, Venezuela and of course just today, pastor Andrew Brunson from Turkey.”

Bringing it back to the left and their destructive behavior, Judge Jeanine showed no mercy as she cut them to the bone.

“So to all those Trump-hating demon rats and the mainstream media, keep up the antics, Pirro summarized. “You are all losers. Sore losers. Stupid losers, too dumb to even know you are losing. He said it himself. Just a few minutes ago in Kentucky.”

She then played a clip of President Trump saying, “The only reason to vote Democrat is if you are tired of winning.”

Do you understand the difference between a "rally" and an "inauguration"?

Trump came to Minnesota a few days before the election to hold a rally in an airport hanger. The traffic jam was crazy. Cars were lined up for miles. People were pulling off the 494 highway, illegally parking on the shoulder, and walking about a mile over a field to get to the rally. They had to reset everything to include all of the people "outside" of the hanger, because the crowd was four or five times bigger than they expected on short notice.

It's ridiculous to suggest that he didn't have huge crowd sized for his political rallies during the 2016 election.

It has absolutely nothing to do with the inauguration crowd.

not quite, alky.

The inherent imprecision of the six-page DNA analysis could provide fodder for Warren’s critics. If her great-great-great-grandmother was Native American, that puts her at 1/32nd American Indian. But the report includes the possibility that she’s just 1/512th Native American if the ancestor is 10 generations back.

Reuters: Senator Warren, mocked by Trump as 'Pocahontas,' releases DNA test.

Which actually proved nothing because it was a non-standard "statistical analysis" by a biologist she hired.

In other words she hired an "expert" to say she may have a Native American ancestor.

Did she really think she could fool anyone beside Roger whose default mode is of a fool?

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

(2) The largest segment identified as having Native American ancestry is on chromosome 10. This
segment is 13.4 centiMorgans in genetic length, and spans approximately 4,700,000 DNA bases. Based
on a principal components analysis (Novembre et al., 2008), this segment is clearly distinct from
segments of European ancestry (nominal p-value 7.4 x 10-7, corrected p-value of 2.6 x 10-4) and is
strongly associated with Native American ancestry.
(3) The total length of the 5 genetic segments identified as having Native American ancestry is 25.6
centiMorgans, and they span approximately 12,300,000 DNA bases. The average segment length is 5.8
centiMorgans. The total and average segment size suggest (via the method of moments) an unadmixed
Native American ancestor in the pedigree at approximately 8 generations before the sample, although
the actual number could be somewhat lower or higher (Gravel, 2012 and Huff et al., 2011).
(4) The sample was compared to the results of the 185 reference individuals with European ancestry,
from Great Britain and Utah.
• The segment on chromosome 10 observed in the individual is larger than any of the segments
identified as having Native American ancestry in any of the 185 reference individuals.
• The total length of Native American segments observed in the individual is greater than the
average value for the reference individuals — by 12.4-fold (corresponding to 12.7 standard deviations)
for the individuals from Great Britain and 10.5-fold (corresponding to 4.9 standard deviations) for the
individuals from Utah.
(5) The sample also contained smaller segments that could not be reliably assigned to any specific
ancestry group (at 99% posterior probability). The total length of these unassigned segments was 366
centiMorgans, and they span 267,650,000 DNA bases.
Conclusion. While the vast majority of the individual’s ancestry is European, the results strongly support
the existence of an unadmixed Native American ancestor in the individual’s pedigree, likely in the range
of 6-10 generations ago.

So Warren "may" be 1/512 Indian. And she said her parents had to elope because of that.

Even Warren's own hack expert said she lied.

Given her pass "family stories" Warren should be no less than 1/16th Cherokee.

Certainty provable on a standard ancestry.com DNA test.

C.H. Truth said...

Elizabeth Warren is not Native American. Her ancestry has been traced by Cherokee genealogists back to the early 1800s, as far back as there are records, and there are no Native American ancestors.

The one potential Native American ancestor was Warren’s great great great grandmother, Sarah O.C. Smith, but an initial 2012 report about that was debunked and The Boston Globe was forced to issue a retraction.

Well Rog...

I don't have a compulsive "support" for anyone.

What I have is strong support for fiscally conservative principles, conservative Judges and Justices, and a strong opposition to the modern day liberal and their misguided ideals.

I think it has been clearly shown that someone that shares my principles would be happy with were the country is today, as compared to where it would have been had Hillary become President.

So riddle me this, Rog...

Why should I care about crowd sizes? Doesn't that seem rather "petty" to be arguing about in the grand scheme of things?

Doesn't that seem more like a concession on your part that you cannot attack Trump for any lack of success, or because he has disappointed conservatives with his polices or Judicial nominees.... so instead you decide to attack over petty twitter statements you find annoying?

The credulous reporter who wrote the Warren DNA piece didn't do the math correctly (and this is before getting into why the particular test, which didn't even use American Indian DNA to compare, was garbage). Six generations removed is 1/64. Ten removed is 1/1024 (0.098%).

Stop and think for a minute: almost the entire media got this story exactly backward, on purpose, and claimed the test "vindicated" Warren instead of conclusively proving she's a liar. That's the state of Fake News Media today.

So to put it succently, Trump lies about crowdsize, media goes nuts.

Elizabeth Warren lies about her ancestry to take advantage of affirmative action programs, no big deal.

C.H. Truth said...

They have traced her ancestry back to as far back as ancestry goes (1800)... and there is literally no ties to any American Indians.

The average family "generation" is 30 years. So that would mean that there is no actual American Indian in Warren for approximately seven generations.

for the sake of claiming your share of one of the casino's up here, the tribes require documented evidence of a minimum of 1/16th bloodline heritage to a specific tribe. mohegan sun is pequot and turning stone is oneida.

warren can't even come close to that. the entire DNA testing exercise was as much of a joke as she is.

Fave part of Warren possibly being 1/1,024th Native American (that is, less Native Am than avg. white American) is that her 2020 campaign is rolling it out (yes, thanks to a compliant and biased media) as if it's not a complete self-own. How did they think this was a good idea?

cowardly king obama said...

Michael Ahrens‏ @michael_ahrens

So Elizabeth Warren is *possibly* 1/1024 (0.09%) Native American.

Scientists say the average European-American is 0.18% Native American. (https://www.nytimes.com/2014/12/25/science/23andme-genetic-ethnicity-study.html …)

That'd make Warren even less Native American than the average European-American.

Actually Roger, I have never read any news, documents, or reports regarding any alleged lies or exaggerations. I know this is very difficult for low IQ people to understand. But I don't care about the news, documents, or reports about any of that. I neither condemn or support either side of this "who is telling the truth about irrelevant things" argument. I care about unemployment, GDP growth, Wage increase, and other things that have a tangible effect on my life. I care about Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, as well as the seventy some other Judges who have been confirmed.

he's the president. he can say whateverthefuck he wants. it comes with the territory. and in this particular case i think he said it to troll imbeciles like you. trump is aware that there's a segment of the population that includes you whose heads explode every time he opens his mouth. he lit the fuse, and right on cue you lost your shit.

heh.

And that despite his denial he is effectively withdrawing the United States from NATO and our allies that have prevented World War Three and nuclear devastation?

not even close, drama queen. he's not withdrawing us from NATO. he's simply asking for a representative and proportional financial contribution from the member countries. the same with the UN.

and i think that giving NATO credit for preventing WW III and nuclear devastation is big stretch. MAD has taken care of that. give credit where credit is due but save the exaggeration for your gym and IQ exploits.
