Democrats lead expanded to thirteen, cut in half, or are they now down one?

All still averages out to plus five

Democrats head into Tuesday's midterm elections with a 13-point lead over Republicans on the generic congressional ballot, according to a CNN/SSRS poll released Monday.
_______

The last midterm poll from Politico/Morning Consult shows Republicans have cut the Democratic lead in the national generic ballot by more than half. According to the poll, 43 percent of registered voters would vote for the Democratic congressional candidate in their district — only slightly more than the 40 percent who would vote for the Republican candidate.
_______

The final Rasmussen Reports Generic Congressional Ballot before Election Day shows Republicans edging ahead by one point, but in essence, the two parties are tied. The survey has a +/-2 percentage point margin of error.

I guess someone will have egg on their face?

He moved lower today, why Alky?

This looks very much like pollsters haveing low confidence in their sampleing and are adjusting their methodology on the fly.

CW seems to be that if the Democrat lead in the generic ballot is below 5% then it will be a good night for the GOP and they keep the house.

But I never had much confidence in that generic ballot and I still don't even if it's good news from my point of view.

33 House Democrats seat pick increasingly likely.

The Senate majority the number of voters who wait until the election day is so volatile.

53 GOP but I could change my mind.

Na, voter fraud never happens. That's what Roger keeps telling us.

The People Behind That Texas Voter Fraud Ring Have Been Identified

Sanchez’s name came up in the original reports, but it wasn’t immediately clear if she was in charge of the operation or just one of the shills. Now it looks like she was providing the funding to pay her operatives and run the scheme. But the other “workers” in the ballot manufacturing line weren’t just random employees she picked up off the street. Stuart Clegg, also charged in the scheme, is described as a former executive director for the Tarrant County Democratic Party.

The method they used was actually almost clever. They allegedly were generating applications for absentee ballots in the names of other people, filling them out and then trying to get the voters to sign them. If successful, those ballots would have been very hard to detect during the final count since they were official documents mailed out by the state and signed by legitimate voters. Unfortunately for them, it all seems to have imploded.

So when a Democrat says picture ID and other anti-vote fraud laws are just for suppressing minority voters be suspicious. Be very suspicious.

A key to this scheme:

They are filling out ballots on behalf of the elderly who reside in assisted living and nursing homes, and then apparently visit these places under false pretenses, and attempt to get these people to sign the ballots.

They say that there are literally hundreds (or even a thousand or more) examples of this exact sort of fraud.

Democrats traumatized by 2016 are having pre-midterms nightmares

Despite forecasts of a Democratic House takeover, liberals grappling with 'PTSD' are braced for another surprise election disaster.

“We're kind of just in the bed-wetting phase now," said Democratic pollster John Anzalone, a Hillary Clinton campaign alumnus who spent election night 2016 in Clinton’s Manhattan war room.

Clinton Win, Democratic Senate Seen by Analyst Charlie Cook

Political analyst Charlie Cook in National Journal predicts that Hillary Clinton will win presidential election and Democrats will take control of Senate.

Says Donald Trump has no margin of error and would need to win all 24 states carried by Mitt Romney in 2012 to win race

Won’t put specific percentage on Clinton’s chances of winning, but says "it’s a really big number"

Predicts Democrats will gain 4 seats to give them a 50-50 split of chamber, where ties would be broken by Democratic Vice President Tim Kaine with a Clinton win

Cook says he expects Democrats to topple Republican incumbents Mark Kirk of Ill., Ron Johnson of Wis. and Pat Toomey of Pa. while holding onto seat being vacated by Harry Reid in Nev.; would put "pinkie on the scale" that Democrats also take seat held by Kelly Ayotte of N.H.

Says races for seats controlled by Republicans in N.C. and Mo. are too close to call
Says Marco Rubio seems headed for re-election in Florida; GOP likely to retain seat in Ind. being vacated by Dan Coats
