I sent them [laughter]. Something I probably wouldn’t have done, or maybe gotten away with, in a more organized investigation, [correcting himself] a more organized administration….[In previous administrations,] if the FBI wanted to send agents into the White House itself to interview a senior official you would work through the White House counsel. There would be discussions and approvals and who would be there and I thought it’s early enough, let’s just send a couple guys over [laughter].
The reality here is that the Flynn sentencing is not going well for Mueller and his investigation. Obviously the entire spotlight being caste over the Flynn case has exposed a level of corruption that very few could have expected.
It now sounds like the protocol for the original interview was not followed, starting with the flimsy reason to be interviewing General Flynn in the first place. The FBI bypassed White House Counsel in setting up the interview, while also dissuading (by implied threat of involving the Dept of Justice) Flynn from having an attorney present. They asked him a bunch of questions that they already had the answers to. The 302 report (at least the one being used by Mueller) was written seven months later.
It's unlikely at this point that Flynn will spend as much as a day in prison. The only question now is whether or not the Judge takes other action on top of ordering the minimum sentence.

if there's any justice in this world, every single person related to the persecution of General Flynn ends up in prison and financially ruined for life, with Flynn reaping the windfall of all of their fortunes.

And you need to remember that this was done in the FIRST WEEK of the Trump presidency. The deep state and resistance was already up and running and their politicization of the DOJ, FBI and other departments couldn't be clearer.
LOCK THEM ALL UP.
After exposing them all of course. Worst political scandal EVER.
