the implication from this hamas caucus twat and from MSDNC a day or so ago is that lindsey is gay and unless he toes the line for trump the GOP will out him.

pretty disgusting shit from liberals who constantly peddle the lie that they're gay rights advocates. if they truly were, then they wouldn't treat being gay as a disgusting smear.

didn't i say something once about hypocrisy and liberalism?

btw, did this moose-limb cunt ever get around to divorcing her brother?

C.H. Truth said...

Hey...

She denies that the first guy she married and never divorced from is her brother. So while you can call her a polygamist if you so choose, there is no proof that the mystery man she has been married to for all that time was her actual brother.

And seriously... who really is and isn't your brother these days anyhow? He might identify as her husband, or even her same sex wife. We let people be who they want to be...

as long as they are not white or male.

speaking of cunts...

MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle implied without evidence Tuesday that Sen. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) has something to hide and the president is blackmailing him over it.

Graham has become one of the President Donald Trump’s staunchest allies in the Senate, although he has criticized him for some key decisions, such as the military pullout from Syria. Ruhle seemed to imply there’s more to their relationship than politics, however, during a discussion about Graham with former Rep. David Jolly and professor Eddie Glaude.

"Before Don got elected, Lindsey Graham called Donald Trump a racist, xenophobic bigot. Those are Lindsey Graham's words," Jolly said. "I doubt Lindsey Graham could tell you Donald Trump has had a change of heart in the last 24 months, I bet the change of heart has been with Lindsey Graham, not the president."

"Or it could be that Donald Trump or somebody knows something pretty extreme about Lindsey Graham," Ruhle replied. "We’re gonna have to leave it there."

so... in order for a person to be an acceptable gay they have to be a liberal?

all these rules make this issue very tough to follow.

President Trump Directed His Attorney Michael Cohen To Lie To Congress About The Moscow Tower Project

Trump received 10 personal updates from Michael Cohen and encouraged a planned meeting with Vladimir Putin.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

And even as Trump told the public he had no business deals with Russia, the sources said Trump and his children Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr. received regular, detailed updates about the real estate development from Cohen, whom they put in charge of the project.

oh al-kee...

Anthony Cormier is one of the two investigative reporter at BuzzfeedNews who co-authored the bombshell report published Thursday night — a report which claimed President Donald Trump directed his former lawyer Michael Cohen to lie during Congressional testimony over discussions between the Trump Organization and Russian authorities about a Trump Tower Moscow project.

Cormier appeared on CNN’s New Day and revealed that he had not seen the evidence underlying his report.

[...]

Despite the admission of having not seen the evidence in question, Cormier explained his sources with impressive detail.

“[Our sources] have been working the Trump Moscow tower portion of the investigation…before Mueller. So they had access to a number of different documents, 302 reports which are interview reports,” he said. “That stuff was compiled as they began to look at who the players were speaking with, how those negotiations went, who all from the Trump organization and outside the organization were involved in getting that tower set up.”

“They began to compile the evidence before Michael Cohen decided to cooperate and speak with the Special Counsel,” Cormier added.

Camerota asked Cormier of the “dubious past” of his co-author Jason Leopold who came under scrutiny for faulting reporting for Salon 2002 that led to an article getting removed. In 2006 he incorrectly reported that Karl Rove had been indicted.

“He was in trouble for perhaps claiming to have sources he really didn’t have. His stories didn’t wash. Executive directors and editors have had to apologize after some of his big blockbuster stories,” Camerota noted, before asking” How can you be certain today?”

Cormier fiercely defended his “rock solid” sourcing on this story.

“My sourcing on this goes beyond the two on the record,” Cormier told Camerota, adding “It’s 100 percent. I am the individual who confirmed and verified that it I am telling you our sourcing goes beyond the two I was able to put on the record. We were able to gather information from individuals who know this happened. ”

Watch above via CNN.

and one of the buzzfeed reporters on this story has already had stories debunked and pulled because he fucking made them up???

and as a result we're closer to impeachment then we've been since nixon???

is THAT the key takeaway here alky?!?!?

"if true"

what a coincidence, alky -

cornell law professor jacobson just put up a post addressing "if true."

Buzzfeed’s “if true” bombshell report that Trump directed Michael Cohen to lie to Congress

We have been here sooooooo many times before.

A media outlet publishes an article based on anonymous sources providing information that is so vague it cannot be proven or disproven, but which purports to (1) implicate Trump in a crime, (2) show collusion with the Russians, and/or (3) raise enough suspicions to justify a 3-5 day news cycle.

So many of these reports are dropped before a weekend, guaranteeing they will dominate the news cycle for days.

And in each and every instance the report is blown out of the water or substantially rewritten, other news outlets could not verify, or other news outlets themselves call the report into doubt. Even when there is a kernel of fact underlying the report, the spin is usually the key to why people click on it. This is all fed by the news media “Scoop” culture.

The typical reaction from people who are not part of #TheResistance, whether Trump supporters or not, is the preface “if true.”

I’ve seen a number of people say they follow a 24-hour rule on these bombshell reports. I think that’s too kind. It’s better to wait 48-72 hours, at a minimum, since so many of these bombshells take days, not hours, to reveal themselves to be duds.

If the story is verified, that the President from his desk in the Oval office or anyplace else, directed Cohen to lie under oath, to the Congress intelligence committee, it is clearly objection to justice and therefore an impeachable offense. He could also face a prison sentence upon leaving office.

Tim Kaine

Last night, BuzzFeed News published reporting that suggests President Trump ordered Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about his contacts with Russia.

Here is what Bill Barr, the President's nominee for Attorney General, previously wrote in a memo to the Department of Justice:

"Obviously, the President and any other official can commit obstruction in this classic sense of sabotaging a proceeding's truth-finding function. Thus, for example, if a President knowingly destroys or alters evidence, suborns perjury, or induces a witness to change testimony, or commits any act deliberately impairing the integrity or availability of evidence, then he, like anyone else, commits the crime of obstruction."

Well then.

The Washington Post)

Predicting President Trump’s imminent demise has made fools of people since the moment he launched his presidential campaign. But the latest blockbuster story about the Russia investigation is different.

If Robert S. Mueller III has the evidence he reportedly has — that Trump asked Michael Cohen to lie to Congress for him — it could present something that’s been missing thus far from the public domain: an event so cut-and-dried that even Republicans would be hard-pressed not to consider impeachment.

BuzzFeed News broke the story Thursday night about the alleged Trump request. The lie Cohen told is the one he has pleaded guilty to: about when efforts to secure a Trump Tower Moscow concluded. BuzzFeed reports that not only did Cohen tell Mueller’s team that Trump told him to lie, but that Mueller had evidence of this even before confronting Cohen.

There are important caveats here — and the story is of such significance that we need to emphasize those caveats up high. The first is that it is based upon two anonymous “federal law enforcement officials involved in an investigation of the matter.” The second is that Cohen’s team isn’t confirming it, despite his having flipped on Trump long ago. We also don’t know exactly what evidence Mueller has. The solidity of that evidence matters greatly in what would otherwise be a he-said, he-said situation.

But judging by the report, it sounds like Mueller just might have the goods. The key graph:

The special counsel’s office learned about Trump’s directive for Cohen to lie to Congress through interviews with multiple witnesses from the Trump Organization and internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents. Cohen then acknowledged those instructions during his interviews with that office.

That sure sounds like a lot of evidence.

it's not the speed of your reading, numb nuts. it's your ability to comprehend.

your bozo's post article was hilarious.

it implied that mueller already had this info, which if he did trump would already be in trouble, and according to you the source of the info - cohen - not confirming it is no big deal. btw alky, cohen is still scheduled to testify before congress. did you pause to consider that he won't confirm this because it puts him in a position to perjure himself which could add time to his sentence?

i just think it's hilarious that you guys are so infected with TDS, when a story comes out like this that gives off an enormous whiff of bullshit to rational, thoughtful people, you assholes latch onto it and take off like a saturn rocket before it's even been corroborated.

it's like the campus race hoaxes alky. some twit posts a note on their dorm door or keys the "N" word into their own car claiming "raciss!!!11!", but if you wait the obligatory 72 hours, the story collapses every single time.

i haven't even seen maggie haberman touch this story, for chrissakes. and she lies like it's her fucking job.
